Pictures are no where near accurate
When I booked the room, it did not indicate whether the room was smoking or non smoking. It turned out it was smoking. I have asthma, and it was a very difficult night for me. But the room was clean and the staff did look for a non smoking room, their were just none available.
Breakfast was not that great. Coffee was yucky, milk was warm. I did like the fresh fruit.
the staff simply had no idea how to treat their guest. We had many problems with the paying methods. the management is the worst.you cannot get in contact and whichever questions you have they will not answer you. almost 2 month after our stay they still could not give us the right bill. conclusion: the worst management ever!!!Very dissapointing stay!
The staff, especially a front desk clerk, Desire made all the difference in our stay. She went above and beyond to address our needs and extend our stay. Thanks Desire!
Time to replace the mattresses. A comfort top is not enough !!
I loved the service, location, quality of the room and the environment.
There was not very much in terms or personal care products (like lotion).
It is a good value for money hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The breakfast could be better. It is the same style and like to have a cooked breakfast.
Didn't have a non smoking room available.
Bath towels & breakfast options
Rooms Very Clean, Bed Comfy, Staff Very Helpful & Friendly. The small pool area was actually nice. Stayed for ACL Fest - proximity to festival was pretty good.
Cheap Outdoor pool was quite nice. Not far from airport. Close to south congress in a cab.
Staff refused to call us a cab. The pictures showed a hot tub and indoor pool that did not exist! 20 homeless living outside the hotel making you feel unsafe. Pictures hide the fact that the hotel is literally 5 feet away from one of the busiest highways in Austin which is loud and means it can take an hour to drive to downtown. Would not stay here again as I think north of the city is safer and a better all round location. No fridge in the room.
The staff was very rude... I asked for a late checkout and they rudely said we do not offer that...GET OUT OF ROOM ... Never stay here ever again ...Room smelled like SMOKE BAD ... Did not want smoking room ...wasnt given a choice...
The room did not have the musty smell from over use of cleaners or air freshener a and the room was spacious.
Terrible continental breakfast selection and the cooler for the milk does not get cold enough to keep at proper temp (it's a wine chiller not a refrigerator) beds are lumpy and let me tell you I am not a contortionist so I could almost not reach the toilet paper sitting on the toilet...
Softness of Bed Size of Bathroom
Free high speen wi-fi didn't work, tech support hung up and me, and guy in lobby didn't do anything to help
Staff was accommodating.
That you had to get into the hotel from the out side. That to me is a motel not a hotel. Also that they didn't have a hot breakfast. Their idea of a hot breakfast was a toaster and microwave. They do not have a kitchen at this location.
Price was reasonable Quiet place
Cleaning lady keeps knocking every 15 mins
Clean and the price of one night was good.
I had made reservations on line for a rate of $98 per night 2 nights. They upped the rate on Saturday to $115 with no warning and would not reduce it. Parking lot was really bad. None of the Pictures shown on web that it was an outside entrance to the rooms. Breakfast was very poor -- out of most everything at 8 am. Coffee really bad in lobby. A machine.
Location was close to downtown.
Address takes you to wrong location. Next to run down buildings that make you feel unsafe. Poor bathroom fixtures. No refrigerator or ice machine. Poor breakfast and bad coffee.
Extremely friendly staff
Air conditioner seemed a little dirty.
Location and breakfast room
No extra toilet paper in bathroom and very narrow in bathtub room,
We had a nice stay at the La Quinta in Austin. I was traveling for my sons wedding and was able to get a peaceful nights sleep before and after the ceremony The staff was very nice, breakfast was fresh and the rooms were clean.
It was difficult to find our way to there. We used an online service and were directed to a La Quinta located approximately 15 miles away. The gentleman at that site printed a map for us, which was also wrong. We finally called the site directly.
Clean room, decent breakfast.
Noisy location near I-35 access road.
There was no toilet paper when we checked in so I had to call to grab one.
The location was where I wanted to stay
The facilities were all worn out and bugs flying around the room. We used to stay at la quinta's in the past but I dont think we will be clients in the future. The room was not worth what we paid.
Awful odors in the room smelt like mold and sewar. No linens replenished when room was cleaned, floors not vacuumed dirt and trash on the floors. Access key card did not work when returned after being out all day. TV remote dead batteries. No handy ice machine. After seeing and experiencing the things in the room, did not even attempt the continental breakfast, was afraid of becoming ill. Only one person at the desk with numerous people waiting in line to not only check in/check out, but to replenish room supplies as well. Location, not clean.
Wifi. Clean Ice machine worked well
Bathroom too small Bed was uncomfortable with little support in middle of mattress. Breakfast was a snack, not breakfast. The price did not make up for the poor location, direct outside door, and previously mentioned issues.
