I felt safe and the staff was nice. Easy check in and out. No errors.
Bathrooms were not as clean as they should have been.
The location was really the only plus to this hotel. Its right by the interstate. The staff at the front desk were very polite and helpful.
The room had a strange smell and the cleaning crew left a used wash cloth from the last occupant in the shower. The wifi didn't work at all. The breakfast was ok, considering it was included in the price of the room.
The staff was exceptionally helpful & friendly.
Bathroom was small and the non- smoking room smelt of smoke.
In a good location.
The hotel needs to be updated. Tub looked like it had a dirty ring around it. There was no Shampoo in the room and no remote. The floor in the sink area needed to be redone. I know it is a pet friendly hotel, but we stay at La Quinta all the time and this one does not meet other standards.
I liked that it was convenient to the interstate.
Very unclean! Cigarette butts floating in the toilet, dirty towel still hanging on hook. Really gross.
The staff was nice and courtesy
The tub didn't drain well, it was dirty around dresser(carpet), corners not as clean as I would have liked looked dusty/dirty. I didn't address the tub drain with staff because we didn't stay to long we worked with it.
coffee came out of a machine, no strength to it!
Staff was great- courteous and friendly.
Continetal breakfast very limited. Floors were dirty, rooms smelled like dogs, outside lights were off at night whic left us feeling unsafe. In general I would not recommend.
Very clean nice rooms. The staff is very friendly. Less than a 5 minute drive from downtown Baton Rouge.
It is located on a very busy hyway. Very hard to get out of the parking lot. Housekeeping did not leave any clean towels the next day when they cleaned the room.
Very convenient to campus, shopping, restaurants. Room was clean and quiet, and the desk staff was always polite and helpful. It had all the amenities of a higher level room--microwave, fridge, USB ports, wifi--and there were several bars and restaurants within easy walking distance.
I've stayed in much cheaper La Quintas. The price seemed a bit high for the chain.
Room wasn't fixed when it was assigned to me
Price wasn't bad at all.
remote did not work for tv
The entire hotel was dirty! The walkways, stairways, Looked like they have never been cleaned. Trash around ice machine. I used my water shoes in the shower because the tub was so dirty. The carpet looks like it is as old as the building and never been cleaned . I was so uncomfortable with the dirty carpet that I did not take my shoes off. When I saw the room, had I been the only person and not in a group, I would not have stayed here. We rented 5 rooms and all were the same condition. I have stayed in old hotels in the past but never stayed in something so dirty as this hotel. I am sorry but you need to clean this place inside and out!! Or close it!!!
Just the convenience of the location.
Everything about the hotel....no shower curtain, dirty bed sheets with stains, bed has stuffs on it, smelly rooms, wifi was a joke.....simply trashy place period. Although our group had four separate rooms, but all were the same. Never again.
The room was clean.
It was too noisy. We could hear everyone outside in the parking lot until 2:00 a.m. Also, we could hear toilets flushing and showers running. We left tired in the morning due to so little sleep.
Easy access on/off hwy 10. Walking distance resturants.
Not clean, AC didn't work, railing at pool loose...on and on!
Location. Staff was very nice, room was clean, beds were comfortable and pool was great.
We liked everything.
Location with access to LSU campus was good. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
We have stayed at many LaQuinta's across the country. This location was 'tired' and in need up an update! The mattresses were very soft and squeaky. Carpets were sticky. Although we were told there was WiFi ... none detected!
How close it was to LSU
The breakfast, the tv didn't work, people parting outside of room nightly
The bed was very comfortable. The air conditioner worked very well. Not to noisy. For a two night stay the motel was adequate and met my basic needs.
The bathroom electrical outlets had a lose hold on the plug. There were not enough electrical out let's in the desk area. The Wi-Fi should have a password. My WPS would not allow me to log on for security reasons, to protect my device.
Bed was comfortable.
Toilet not functioning properly. Overflow into room, had to go to new location. The room was dirty and had to get third location. 93 yo had to climb to 2nd floor.
MY room was Very nice and breakfast was good.
My second room was not cleaned and had to ask for towels twice.
The front desk clerk, Debbie, was very accommodating. Our room had not been cleaned the prior day and I had requested towels that evening. We never received any. The following morning, Debbie took the time to bring us towels because there was no housekeeping staff available at the time. Kudos for such a great employee!
My room was not cleaned our first night. I was very frustrated.
