Tienen un comedor grande donde sirven el desayuno.

El hotel es antiguo y no ha sido modernizado. Las mejoras que se le han hecho han sido con materiales de muy baja calidad. Las habitaciones no tienen ni refrigerador ni microondas. El aseo es deplorable. El AC no funciona como tal y hace mucho ruido. El desayuno, sintético. El ascensor da susto. El precio es demasiado para lo que ofrecen, mejor arriesgarse en otro lado.

Buen servicio de desayuno Buena ubicación; zona tranquila, cercanía a la estación AMTRAX y al Metro para ir a San Francisco.

We arrived several hours before check-in but we were able to get into a room with no problem. The desk attendant was very friendly and helpful. The room was big and comfortable.

Our room overlooked University Avenue so there is a lot of traffic noise when the window is open. With the window closed, it was fine. The bathtub was a bit old and worn out.

I liked the convenience of the location. It was easy to access from the freeway and it was easy to get to Downtown attractions.

While I liked the complimentary breakfast, I felt it was lacking in variety of food choices.

Needs an update. Upon arrival I asked to use a restroom on the lobby floor and the one they directed me to had water on the floor and the broken toilet seat was swung to the right. It was really awful. Also, this was the second time staying there and we had mold around the bathtub group in bothj rooms.

This was one of the worst hotels that I have stayed at! I travel a lot and can tell you, you would have a nicer stay and save about $60 per night at a motel 6!! It smelled so bad when I walked in the lobby that the manager opened the doors to help air it out. The rooms were clean but very old hotel. My toilet wouldn't flush, and the AC didn't work! Not to mention that they are on the Bed bug Registry, though I don't I have any issues, it sure keeps you awake with the eebygeebys all night long! I was on the second floor which also had a 50th birthday party! I wasn't gonna spoil a good party by complaining but an old not so insulated hotel should not have parties past 10:00pm as the noise was sooooo Lou and went on till about 2:00am! Save your money and book elsewhere!!!!!!!

Room was clean,beds comfortable,super water pressure in shower that felt great after a long day.Very nice breakfast,2 blocks to Bus stop.Tons of places to eat on University street.Staff was good

Wished it could have been a little closer to UC Berkley.

The place is depressing, there is no beauty, it is also not very conveniently located if you need to be at the university and don't have your own car. It is not very close to downtown berkeley. Breakfast is totally chemical. It is not cheap for what you get since the rooms are quite old.

Friendly staff, comfortable, clean rooms, flat-screen cable TV.

The in-room WiFi had a really poor connection.

The rooms were very good, the breakfast too and the value for money is good.

The wifi network is very bad, on the night it is very hard to access it. The fitness center is in very bad state.

The hotel was clean and quiet. The breakfast included in the cost was decent. One of the employees that worked in the breakfast room was very nice, greeting each person that came in with, "Good Morning!" The maids were thorough and unobtrusive. The rooms were a good size.

The staff at the customer service desk were fairly casual in their dress and demeanor. The televisions were old and the wifi was weak unless you were sitting in the lobby. The elevator was small and a little clunky.

This hotel is a little worn out, especially the bathroom. The rooms are not sound-proofed well so you hear everyone on all sides of your room. Breakfast was poor.

Traveling w/ our dog, La Quinta is friendly, has friendly Employees, great breakfast, some basic activity- Pool, exercise equip. And in Berkely good location. Easy To get to & close to places we visited. I would recommend This place.

Would like a discount since we joined the LaQuinta organization And usually stay w/ them. Seems we should be Rewarded for our loyalty.

Location was close to food and access to freeway. Continental breakfast was pretty good and the staff were all friendly.

They advertised a microwave and fridge in each room. Requested a room that was disable friendly and was given one but it did not have a microwave or fridge. Asked if I could have them and was told there would be an extra charge but that rooms in the upper floors (not disable accessible) had them at no charge. Could not afford the "upgrade" so was forced to ice my meds for he two days I spent there.

Easy for access to highways and to the University. Nice beds and nice breakfast. Nice pool.

Did not have a fridge in the room and upon request there was not one available. The staff was nice and kept our items behind the desk in the staff fridge.

The room was large, clean and comfortably appointed. There were two beds in the room, the bed I slept in was comfortable.

The air conditioning system was loud, I had trouble figuring out how to turn it off so I could sleep.

Facility beautiful, lots of amenities--- pool, exercise room, breakfast that was very nice, laundry, very convenient location to highway and Berkeley. Staff superb.

Computer in the "business center" was very, very slow. Manager said it was a temporary situation, but I was there for 5 days and nothing changed. I think in this day we ought to have the ability to fix a computer used by so many.
