My stay at Laquinta Inn&Suite was excellent the hotel staff was very nice and friendly and when I come back to Chicago I am going to stay there again.
Good location for the financial district and also for the Chicago Lyric Opera. Very good value and friendly and helpful staff. Decent breakfast included.

couldn't believe 46 dollars a day for parking around the block
I'm from Wisconsin I asked for a city view and they gave me a wall View they had two twin beds I booked a queen I was just very unhappy and it was Valentine's Day they ruined it there was nothing to look at no parking garage I won't be Going back

Pool way too small to enjoy, gets crowded fast. Was given a "bigger" room but we needed two beds, instead one bed and sofa that was not made up and sheets didn't fit. Had to ask for sheets 3 times to get them right.
Did not clean the room on the 3rd night

Everything was really good! Good breakfast, comfortable rooms, nice staff. Good location, withing walking distance to Michigan Av, Willis Tower, etc. Everything is great with the hotel although the price is just a bit not equivalent with standard.
Perfect location directly downtown, close to all the important and famous sites (Willis tower, the loop, the bean, etc.), delicious breakfast, friendly and competent staff

The rooms were comfortable and the location is really good, just a few blocks to the Christmas market and a short walk to Union Station. Staff are very friendly. The Keurig machine in the room was really appreciated.
The breakfast was ok, but the coffee was like water. The hotel should really make more of an effort to recycle and be more sustainable. Despite our best efforts our breakfast produced a whole bunch of plastic waste which was disappointing.
Heating system is difficult to adjust and very noisy

THE HOUSEKEEPERS AT THE DOWNTOWN CHICAGO LOCATION ARE STEALING FROM CUSTOMER…….. I am a LaQuinta Returns member. I have enjoyed all of my stays at LaQuinta. However, this was not the case with my last visit. I stayed at the LaQuinta Downtown Chicago location on 1 S Franklin. I left my Fitbit Charge in room 904. There was a black housekeeper with short hair who knocked on my door on Sunday morning apx 10:35. Your records indicate that I checked out apx 10:45. The housekeeper did enter the room and begin her duties as we left. I contacted the location and was advised to call back on Monday once the housekeepers were available. I called the following morning and was advised to contact them back in 2 hours. Upon contacting them back I was advised that my room had not been cleaned(Odd especially when the housekeeper entered the room upon my wife and I leaving) and that the housekeeping manager Cathy searched the room and found no such item. I work literally behind the hotel in the 230 W Monroe building and informed the front desk concierge that I would be there on my lunch. I spent half of my 1 hour lunch speaking with a Gary Platt who basically told me that there was noting that they could do and my best bet was to go fill out a police report. I posed the question : “How is it that this is your hotel and you cannot show any empathy nor gumption when it comes to resolving an customers issue?’ He then advised me to search for my Fitbit Charge via the GPS tool. I then requested that he review the security footage and that would show the personnel entering and leaving the room. In the last 3 months I have spent well over $800 in room stays. Clearly I like the facility and LaQuinta is a great chain that values its customers but this experience makes me wonder. There was no attempts top compensate me for my device that is very important to my health. The device tracks my calorie intake, my activity level and most of all my heart rate.
The location is great for the Amtrak train
The breakfast was inedible, oatmeal dry, eggs overcooked and the staff in dining area were rude and unpleasant.
The Jacuzzi and the pool are tiny. The pictures on the website show them much bigger. The odor of Chlorine could get you dizzy. During work week, they stop serving breakfast at 9:00, believe it 9:00. They still have plenty of food and there are a lot people who sill want to eat, but they start removing food containers, in a hurry too!! working faster than when they bring it. Why not end at 10:00 there are tourists as guests too.
the floor in our room was dirty and we had to get someone to come with a vaccuum
