Ashley knew we were celebrating our daughter's engagement, and without asking, she upgraded us to a suite to give us more space to prepare a few finishing touches.
Drawing a blank here. ;-)
indoor pool Breakfast included in the rate Wifi Location
Close to the L trains, and the downtown parks. From the business center you could look up & print transport maps as well as print airline boarding passes.
Wifi had poor connection in our rooms.
Large, quiet rooms. Did not hear city noise (4th floor). Excellent breakfast, fully stocked until closing time. Many breakfast food options. Liked the in room coffee maker/refridge/microwave. Close to train lines. Perfect hotel for our Chicago Marathon stay.
Extra bed in room was more of a futon on the floor style. Ended up using the sheets provided to make up the couch as a single bed instead.
Staff friendly, answered questions about train station, approved my late checkout.
Pricey but that was true of all area hotels on marathon weekend.
The Staff were exceptional. They made every effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible. From helping with directions, to chasing down cabs up to a block away. Always with a smile and a great attitude. I will recommend this Hotel to every person I know who is going to chicago.
The breakfast was mediocre, but the service staff were great, which more then made up for the food
This trip was kind of last minute. We have a 9yr. old black lab. pet. Option B was to bring her along. Find a hotel in Chicago that would allow pets, I did not think it was possible. Well, it is VERY possible at La Quinta, Daisy Diva (our dog) partied like a rock star. we all got the Rock Star treatment, thanks La Quinta for making it a great weekend! Joe, Lynn, and of course Daisy!
The weather, it was a bit Chilly:)
I loved the fact that everyone was so friendly. Our room was so comfortable and we had a fridge and microwave that was totally not expected . I totally would recommend la Quinta . We had Carrin that l talked to and she was so helpful . I so will come back to chicago in a minute . Chicago was the most friendlely place that I have ever visited. La Quinta here I come. Susan
- Room was definitely big, clean and cousy - Great location, practically next to the Willis Tower
- Gym is a bit small and more cardio oriented - WIFI signal is deifinitely something they should work at but it is decent
The beds are way too small if you have to sleep in 3 or 4 people in the same room. Although, it's perfect for 2 people.
Closeness to loop metro station (3 minutes walk) and bus stop (1 minute). Only 15 minutes walk from Millennium Park. The breakfast ladies were fun and helpful - going out of their way to ensure my wife had gluten-free food.
Room comfort and size Good XL bed Silence in a big city
Breakfast during weekends (no scrambled eggs, yogurt or fruits) Small swimming pool visible from outside
The rooms were reasonably spacious with a clean modern vibe. The open space was great for suitcases and kid *stuff*. There were good family options for restaurants, including a Noodles & Company attached to the hotel. Also close were multiple fast food options and one of Chicago's iconic pizza restaurants Giordano's a couple if blocks away. The hotel is a few blocks from the art museum and Millennium park, a real plus. I would definitely stay here again.
Breakfast is a bit crowded so plan on getting there early.
The location was great and facilities were comfortable.
It was very expensive for what it was. It was quite basic and whilst the breakfast choice was reasonable, I hated the plastic plates, cups and cutlery!
The place was clean and the staff very friendly
My special request was exceptionally simple and yet totally ignored and the breakfast was disgusting
Parking = $45/night
The hotel is modern and clean. It couldn't have been in a better location (walking distance to everything). The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub.
Large breakfast area Decent fitness room Proximity to Michigan Ave
no soap and shampoo
I used the security box service and I've lost the key. 75$ for damages! Hard to believe. The ventilation system was very noisy and I couldn't sleep. I moved to another room but it was more o less the same. Breakfast could be better: no espresso coffee offered, no fresh fruit. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone,
Love the free wifi. Also, it was great that the room had a fridge, microwave and coffee maker.
Breakfast menu was very good. Nice size rooms with lots of work space. Bed was very comfortable. Location was great.
Friendliness of staff on front desk Layout and spaciousness of room Great shower
The location was great for me and the business I needed to handle while in Chicago. The room was large and spacious, which I was surprised because most rooms in Chicago are very small. The room decor was updated and all amenities in the room were great including a small couch for guest and a refrigerator and microwave which aren't standard in most hotels. My room was cleaned and sheets changed after my one night stay which most hotels like you the keep the same linens which I appreciated since I had dropped my dinner on the bed. The hotel is connected to a place to eat, one of my favorites and in walking distance to numerous eatery both chain and unique to Chicago. Additionally, the location is short walk to Michigan Ave., State Street, and other Chicago tourist attractions. I will be staying here again.
Nothing. I really loved my stay and the hotel.
very clean and quite. My room didn't have a refrigerator but everything else was very satisfactory. Free breakfast was great.Would definitely stay there again.Great access to everything. Only half mile from union station and mega bus stop.Staff very friendly and knowledgeable.Give it two thumbs up!
There was no refrigerator. We came back with some great left over pizza but couldn't keep it.A small refrigerator would have been nice. But still a great place to stay!
The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Very convenient location.
We were there for three nights. There was no soap in the room when we arrived and the shampoo was not replenished. The breakfast is good but on the third morning we couldn't find a place to sit and had to take the food to our room. Better value for families than a couple.
