La Quinta Inn & Suites Cincinnati Airport Florence    

Location, surrounding area

We love LaQuinta Inn and usually prefer to stay with them. At this particular location there is an evident problem with the staff. The maid left our door open and the room unattended. We did not have a privacy sign to hang on the door. No water cups in the fitness center, our room did not have soap or shampoo and when we went to check out there was no one at the front desk. We stood there for almost 10 minutes when we suddenly realized the two people (whom we figured were guests) came in from smoking outside. One of those people was the girl whom was supposed to be working at the front desk. No apology. While they were smoking they were looking in from outside while we were waiting.

Very clean and a great value, the breakfast is a plus!

I liked the hot breakfast in the morning and that it was a little different every day. Your French toast sticks didn't look appetizing though. At the beginning there was some door lock issues but the staff was very helpful.

The pool was freezing. Heating it would have made the trip for us.

It was very clean and comfortable.

The maids would play music pretty loud in the hall at 8am. After a long night I was looking forward to sleeping in but woke up because of how loud the music was.

My husband and I had a good room couch was a little lop sided but it did the purposed

My mothers reservation that I also made was totally not handicapped accessible for Fri and they gave them a different rm Sat ...not help with the move it was their mistake she missed sleep and assist she needed plus moved her during breakfast so she missed it....she is 89 and needs quite a bit of assist/rest etc They reassured us when we arrived just a couple of hrs before my mother arrived that she had a handicapped accessible room which was their fault and dishonesty We believed she should not have had to pay for the fri night stay...which was to be sure she got a good rest to attend her grandaughters wedding the next day very very saddened and disapponted by all of this

The breakfast was good and the rooms were quite large.

They say checkout is before noon but the cleaning people knocked on our door a few times wanting to clean while we were trying to get ready.

The room was well designed. Also the separation of the sink from the tub & toilet is wonderful.

The blatant disregard for clean Bedding. Calling it green is really a slap in the face!

Check in was fast, we had requested early time of arrival and there were no problems. Room was spotless, large and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very nice and the attendant kept everything feshly made. We will stay here again.

The staff was great! Especially the ones that cleaned up the area at the breakfast bar.

The big ink stain in the middle of our bed. I would think that the staff would not have used it. Also, mopping the floors in the first floor hallway and foyer during the checkout time. This could have been done in the late evening while most were sleeping, thus avoiding someone slipping (and a possible lawsuit).

The fact that I could leave my car while taking a flight.

The shuttle did not go to the airport after midnight. The young man on the desk at night was less than helpful and knew nothing about the airport. He had never been there. The taxi cost me $23.00!!!

I really enjoyed the conveniences at the hotel. The staff was most helpful in finding restaurants. They were more than willing to be of help.

Very updated decor and very clean. The staff was friendly.

The room only had one mini shampoo/conditioner bottle in a room for four people. Would like to have had a small lotion bottle provided.

Problem with room booking error was corrected the next day. Bill was correct. Breakfast was delicious.

Furniture in the room in disrepair. Wall outlets without covers, very dangerous. Power strip on desk pulled completely apart, no working parts, did not work. Tub was very slippery, I fell. Tv remote power button did not work. Was put in a king room instead of double double. Front desk clerk blamed it on booking.com. Was told it could not be fixed until next day. Then the information was not passed on to the am shift. She had no clue what I was talking about. Had to explain the whole situation again.

The staff was very friendly, and considerate.

The staff was very friendly & accommodating at all times, even late at night. The breakfast was wonderful & the staff working the breakfast was as well very kind & on top of refilling all the food & drinks.

I wish there was more seating in the pool area. There is only 1 table & chairs. When I didn't swim with my kids I had to sit on the wet floor while monitoring them. DIDN'T like that.

Price was reasonable for accomodations. Check-in/out was quick and easy.

Elevator was dirty and had wet floors from the pool. Shower was horrible not much pressure. Bathroom faucet was broken. Carpet had ink stains.

Staff

Breakfast was bad, all food was very cold. The water was running hot and cold, was unable to shower. The latch on the door was loose, the front desk person repaired it. The electrical cover plate was missing under the desk / plug for pc. The odor in the entire facility was unpleasant.

The room was very clean, staff well informed and nice. Pool wasclean, plenty of towels.

too much noise on any floor but the 4th, breakfast over too soon-10 o'clock would be a better time to quit serving. They used to have scrambled eggs, wish they still did- diabetics can have eggs but not waffles or bisquits and gravey

Best value for the money. We've stayed at others in the vicinity and this was the best. Clean, convenient.

I give La Quinta an excellent review in all catagories. I will definitely stay there my next flight trip out of Cincinatti.

This was an excellent hotel especially for the price. The location was great!

The pool was small, but that was not that big of deal.

During my 25 years of management with a Utility company when we were out of state to classes they selected LaQuinta for our stays. Now that I am retired for 19 years I still feel comfortable returning.

This stay I noticed the sign of our times with the economy the way that it is has changed some cosmetic things. The room had bruises,scrapes, and cracks, unsightly but not critical. Along the hall way what appeared to be some type of hangings had resulted in scratches and dirty marks on the exterior of the doors.The linens (a couple towels) prompted a trip to desk and ask for what I consider your standard amount. All minor but something new I have not experienced with LaQunita

Located near restaurants, retail stores, and the airport. Also, friendly staff.

Situated on top of a geographical rise and the winter wind was rather cold.
