This hotel was close to the the attractions we wanted to see. It was also close to the buses. The ladies at the desk were friendly and were able to answer all of our questions. This hotel and parking is a good value for the money.
LOCATION WAS AWESOME......CLEAN QUIET N COMFORT N VALET PARKING WAS GREAT....
Breakfast should have better selection of food
Pet Friendly Location Rooms Courteous Staff
Confusion with Parking. The folks outside are on a different page then the folks inside.
location, facilities, staff
Bathroom not as clean as it could have been. Shower leaked onto wall and floor. Lots of middle of the night yelling and inappropriate noise and activity in the hall outside our door. It was frightening. I would not go back to this property.
location and staff are great!
2 minutes and the socks were black! the carpet is really dirty!
I just got home in California looked at bank statement the hotel charged the room to my card...however we paid cash so now I have to call and chase down a refund!
The staff were helpful and calm among Sugar Bowl chaos.
Needed a safe in the room.
- the location - front desk staffs are friendly, all ready to help... - I do appreciate the receptionist on the Jan. 1st she was helpful
- the chamber maid doesn't do right in tidying the room (found on the rear closet some wrappers of sweets/plastic), also under the bed; nor clean the carpet (vacuum), empty the bin in the room, forget to put another set of towels... - on January 1st, breakfast was not on time, it was suppose to be open at 6:00am (we checkout at 6:00am to be at the airport around 7:00am), taken no breakfast, I did asked the receptionist to give us 6 apples eventually she gave...
Attitude of staff
I loved the location of this hotel. It's only a block or two away from Canal St. I loved the free Wi-Fi, the valet parking, and the convenience of being near the french quarter without having to hear all the noise or people. I also liked the price. Because we went in the off season it was almost half of the normal rate. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the staff was very helpful with setting up tours and answering any questions I had.
I didn't like the cost of the valet service $30 a day is ridiculous. The breakfast that's included is lackluster. There is no meat offered at all only cereal, muffins, toast, waffles, yogurt, milk, and bagels and the condiments that go with them.
That's it was walking length to bourbon
It was small
The staff was so pleasant
Rooms were a little small fir the price I paid
Clean and comfortable hotel
Location was good. Close enough to walk to the places we wanted to go.
The parking at the hotel was not great....we ended up parking at a 24 hour lot at the corner up the street.
Central location Breakfast Sunlight Cheap price Wifi Friendly staffs
The suite was comfortable in size, and had two TV's. Location was within walking distance to everything. (But tons of other hotels in the area also) The gentleman that took my bags to the cab was very nice.
I didn't ask for a suite, I wanted a room with 2 beds, which would have been within my budget. On check out they told me I couldn't use my triple A membership that I needed to use that when I made my reservation. The 3rd & 4th night there was no cold water in the shower, had to take very very hot shower. Never received a wake up call even though I called the front desk every night & requested one. The continental breakfast was horrible. The only hot food was instant oatmeal and waffles. The only fresh fruit daily was apples and one day they had a few bananas.
Excellent location. Very comfortable and pets welcome.
Level of cleanliness was variable. A lot of dust.
Room, staff, cleanliness
Breakfast could have been a little better.
When we got ready to check out on Sunday the valet service was hell. That was understandable being it was Sunday and checkout. We waited for over an hour in the lobby, it had been cleared only to find out that our car could not found. It took another 30 minutes to find it. There was no explanation from management who never came to speak to me or return of my $26.00 valet fee.
Well above par accommodations, cleanliness, location, staff
The cleanness of the hotel, the friendliness of the staff, and the location was near other friends staying at different places in New Orleans made it easy to plan things .
The bed was too soft, I guess my personal preference is a hard mattress, I have a bad back. I requested a mini refrigerator and micro wave and was told they're only put in rooms with a king size bed, not for the double queen room we rented. That was so stupid .
Given how pricey our stay was you should have a better breakfast. Had to go to hotel across the street for a decent breakfast.
receptionist were not very nice except one tall lady, unfortunately i could not get their names because they don't wear name tags. this was very much unlike people in New Orleans. they were not very helpful when you needed help
