La Quinta Inn Oakland Airport & Coliseum  

I like the helpfulness of the lady at the front desk by the name of Catherine she went way above and beyond the call of duty to help us when our battery was dead she didn't make us call a tow truck she made sure we got jumped right there and made it on our way she was fantastic

The elevator was out of order and we had to go way at the end of the hallway up the stairs not halfway back with a bunch of very heavy luggage and a very large show dog

Rooms were spacious

Noise carried more than normal. There was an adjoining door between our room and the next with a significant gap at the bottom of the door. We could hear everything our neighbors said, and at night, we could see the light from their room under the door.

Staff very friendly. clean room. Nice small pool and hot tub. Very close to the HWY and easy to access. 25 min drive to S.F. Cheap and good value for the money.

Appalling- I'd describe this as a "crack hotel". The lobby was dark- carpets in lobby & elevator landing- filthy. A loud party started at 1:15am -complete with dog trotting thru the hallway- but security was unable to stop it? We finally moved at 2 am but sleeping was ruined for the night. Small reduction-$14 -didn't compensate for this! Booking.com should take this flea bag off their listing!!

Near to Oakland Colosseum for A's-Tigers game. Could walk and not pay for parking at stadium.

Only one receptionist handling all calls and check-ins. Unbelievable! And bathtub --falling apart and dirty-- looked to be from 1960s....

Better than I expected for the price and location. Nice and clean room. No fridge. Comforter cover was upside down so the knots were at the head of the bed. I could have changed that myself of course, but was very tired and staying just one short night anyway.

Thin walls. I could hear much more than I wanted too from the room next door and above, but luckily that noise did not last long.

Location to Coliseum, freeway and Coliseum.

Very close to the airport and Oracle Arena. Also a supermarket around the corner and multiple fast food restaurants. There was also a bus to take you to the Bart Station

The room smelled like old stalled cigars, and I was in a non smoking room. The bathroom also smelled like old cigars. The bathroom door was hard to open. The desk clerk had us wait in a corner while they mopped the floors! Who mops floors during check out time?! I paid $10 at the HolidayInn and got way better service.

We liked the closeness to the Oakland "A's" stadium. The shuttle to/from the stadium was very useful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast area was very clean with good variety.

Everything appeared well used. The pool area furniture was heavily stained and damaged. The bathtub was filthy. Lots of noise from the water pipes in the morning. The elevator door had been damaged and chicken-wired together. The hallways were extremely dirty along the baseboards. Lots of loud noise from the hallways in the morning.

Close to airport, ok breakfast

Pillows were flat Noisy @ 5 am talking loud in hallway was the worse with Chinese waking me up way too early, since my time was 3 hours difference. Really not under your control but I was ready to get up & tell them to be quiet @ such early hour.

Staff was great!!!! a real happy bunch :-) loved the shuttle service to the Coliseum! saved us some in car rental/gas/parking etc..... room was very clean...especially the bathroom...Thank you,Thank you... breakfast was sufficent as well...

Went to see Arrowsmith.Had a great time and great stay.If I had to stay in Oakland again It would be there.Near Colasum and airport a real great place to stay.

Front desk staff on check in, when I called the front desk for a wake up call, check out staff were all without any personality whatsoever. I will never stay here strictly for the receptiveness or lack thereof from the staff. The room was filthy. The carpet should have been replaced 5 years ago. There were large stains in several areas. The desk chard had on arm rest missing and after the first day, the second arm rest fell halfway off.

La Quinta has excellent customer service! The free morning breakfast is good too. The best part are the beds. The beds are so comfortable. The overall rooms are pretty big. They are very accommodating. I will always choose to stay at the La Quinta!

There is nothing I do not like. This is a wonderful establishment.

the rooms were small with the sizr bed itwas very difficult to get around. the hotelwas undergoing renovations so the clothing bar in the room was not installed. Window to the room open iwth a torn screen, bathroon needsed some tending to on finishing work by carpenters

We needed to be away for two weeks and wanted to leave our car. Also, the flight was very early in the AM so we wanted to stay near the airport the night before. The shuttle service was easy and began early enough and ended late enough to accommodate our schedule.
