The mini fridge was on, but no cold. The bathroom fan could not be shut off, noise was loud and bothersome with or without the door closed. Mgt was called and nothing could be done. My sleep was a struggle even though we had a good bed to sleep on. Our location was across from the boiler room which was opened and closed all night.
The bed was perfect with the pillow top mattress and numerous pillows. The room was clean and adequate for our stay. Good free breakfast.

Because our room wasn't ready, they gave us a handicap room. That bathroom had no shelf in which to hold our toiletries, so our stuff was on the floor. Not enough hooks in the bathroom. I don't know how a handicapped person would be able to function in that bathroom.
The breakfast was good. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

We traveled for Boat Show in Annapolis. Comparing hotels that we previously stayed in Annapolis for triple the cost, La Quinta is definitely one to consider. A little outdated, but clean and with decent breakfast. All in all, good choice for a night or two.

Hard beds, Did not seem to be clean, but not dirty.
The staff was friendly and funny, hometown-ist, but not extremely professional. Good price

The smell of doggies when we walked in the side doors and common area, not in our room.
Perfect place to stay after spending the day in Annapolis and going to Baltimore Inner Harbor the next day. We found our king room very clean, accommodating and very pretty. The bed couldn't have been any better, the front desk was very friendly and the breakfast was as good as most other hotel chains. Very clean.

Our room wasn't ready at check in time or when we returned as requested 45 minutes later-ish. The outside trash bins were OVERFLOWING and didn't get serviced until the next day... yuck...
location worked for us since visiting both in Baltimore and suburban Baltimore friends and family. The front desk clerk did a nice job of accommodating our requests.

They need to totally shut down the 4th floor or clean/renovate it before putting any paying guests their again. It is absolutely filthy and smells horribly of smoke. For nonsmokers who got stuck there, it was an absolute awful experience. We asked to be switched and was told that nothing would be available on a non smoking floor until the second night of our trip. In the interim, they sent someone from maintenance to spray our room to get rid of the cigarette smell. nothing got rid of that smell and not only were we sick from it, the smell permeated into our clothes and belongings for the remainder of our stay. It is a shame that they don't just do away with that floor and make it a non smoking hotel as if they had put us into the 3rd floor room that they put us into the next night, our review of this hotel might have been different. We might have overlooked the fact that they always had ONLY 1person working the front desk every time we went there and there was always a line or that the breakfast area was way too small for the amount of people they were trying to feed (both where they had the food set up and the actual dining area). Note on the dining area, the first morning we were "allowed" to eat in the room next to the small dining room, but when we tried to the next morning, a maintenance man told us we couldn't use it (and they had removed the chairs) as someone had booked the room for 10am. If you offer a free breakfast and your hotel is sold out, shouldn't you take into consideration the amount of space you allocate for those guests to sit to eat that breakfast? Given our first night at this hotel, the absolute filth strewn in the hallway of the 4th floor and the fact that we were smelling cigarette smoke on our persons even when we weren't in the hotel, would not go back here again, even we have to pay double per night what we paid at this hotel if we ever visit Baltimore again. Horrible experience.
The proximity to the location where we needed to be each day.

Everything was Great

Arrival, lobby full of military group with luggage could not move or get to front desk for a long time. Checked in, given key, went to room, door was open, being held by night latch. Knocked, entered room to find shower had been used, dirty washcloth and towel in tub. Decided to make the best of it rather than go through lobby experience again. Left hotel for 2 hours for dinner. Returned to hotel, key would not open door returned to desk twice for key reprogramming. Key never did work, had to be let in to room by security/maintenance. Could not leave room, key/lock never was fixed. Breakfast next morning was awful; stale bagel, warm OJ. Left hotel, went to Bob Evans down the street for breakfast. Can you guess why the room door was opened and night latch keeping it opened at check in? One must assume the hotel management and staff knew the lock was broken and would not work. Hotel sold out including this room with broken lock. They knowingly sold a room without a working lock to me. They got me for $160 this time, never again.
