I had large cases I could not leave in car, an employee graciously offered to help get to my room, and CS agent was also very friendly and helpful when bein barraged with touristy questions from us.

Very tight hallways, but I understand NYC is build up not out. Just makes it difficult to maneuver sometimes.

Friendly and helpful receptionists. Good facility to have an airport shuttle bus. Good to have free WiFi.

It was a bit noisy at night with people slamming doors. Fit door close softeners.

The hotel is clean,I think is good for family and its quite near airport,but little far from the Time Square.

Night clerk was not very helpful in getting us a room away from the noise of the freeway. At 1am, guests who had been given duplicate keys to the room tried to get into the room. Night clerk phoned the room and then banged on the door to get in. Not a very pleasant experience. Hotel in general was noisy and parking was very tight.

stench in the room, overpriced, no internet (despite me asking specifically for it), tiny room for a very high price. location horrible, nothing within walking distance.

We stayed at the La Quinta for only one night on a stopover from London. It was close to the airport and the free shuttle was certainly convenient for us. Room was comfortable enough and very quiet. There are no facilities there like a restaurant or a bar, however that was not a concern for us since we were there such a short time.

I was there just to spend few hours due to my next flight (almost 6 hours). rooms were very small, bed was comfortable,

Ghetto type neighbourhood - miles from everything and poor public transport. Hotel staff hopeless at providing directions to nearest railway station. Nowhere within walking distance to get a meal. Hotel provided a refrigerator and an ice bucket but couldn't provide a cork screw.

The foam mattresses were great.

We booked a double room; they put us in a 1 bed. To get 2 beds as reserved we had to take a smoking room. The A/c was noisy and ineffective. The bathroom door squeaked very loudly disturbing other's sleep

The phone did not work and nobody came to replace or fix it. The shower handle fell off while showering. The room was very tight to walk past beds. The air conditioner was loud. The parking lot was so small I was almost parked in.

The staff was great , very helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and the location near Kennedy was perfect.

The coffee machine was up and running at all hours - fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly and professional. Wifi was actually highspeed - whoooop! Shuttle at no extra cost to the airport - double happy.

It cost a fortune for the taxi to take you back to the city. So stay here if you want to catch the shuttle to the airport, not if you intend to go to town. We didn't get the two-bed room we booked (-). But the bed we had to share was huge (+).

A major mistake to book based on previous experience with La Quinta. The room was tiny, the wait for the van was almost an hour and the vans right rear door was held closed with rope . ifthere were a manager on premise I would have demanded my money back.

Location and nothing more

I chose the hotel for its location and free airport shuttle because I had my connecting flight next morning. I had to wait the shuttle more than half of hour after calling. It was too cold in ny and I thought that I would freeze. Actually I was delivered to another hotel as shuttle serves two hotels. Finally I spent 1.5 hour to get the hotel instead of announced 10 min.
