La Quinta Inn & Suites LAX    

This was our second dtay at this hotel in less than a month needless to say a great hotel, shame we did not get the same deal as last time then it would had been brilliant.

Nothing that was a real negative apart from not using normal plates at breakfast.

although spotlessly clean, and non smoking, the room smelled of stale smoke.

Near to the airport. Everyone helpful and GOOD food! very convienent for our purpose of going on a cruise the next day! and transport to and from the airport. Guys on the bus VERY helpful too.

Comfortable bed and good working shower with the added bonus of a good pool. A very practical value option for LAX airport stop overs

This was a clean and tidy hotel, with all the facilities that you expect. The breakfast was more than acceptable, with the members of staff very friendly, We would recommend this hotel to anyone who is seeking an affordable hotel.

The only negative element was we would had liked the restaurant to use proper plates and cutlery and cups as oppose to plastic and throw away plates.

The free Shuttle, good breakfast, lovely room, free Paper, free Internet, bus 117 outside to go to Hawthorne Metro, and on to Hollywood Boulevarde, storing bags for Late departure, smoking area, in all excellent

It was not quiet. You could here everone that walked pass the room, Every car that drove by.

Employees were extremely nice. Our 2 year old was sleeping after a difficult night and they allowed as a late check in for free until he woke up. Breakfast was good, and plenty. Plastic dishes were more than fine.

Maybe the sound of the avenue outside, but it was OK.

Conveniently located near LAX airport and offers free shuttle bus service 24 hours a day. Very good breakfast included, nicely decorated rooms and friendly staff.

Noisy lifts Noisy ice machine. Maids opening doors despite privacy card in lock. Noisy aircon. Plus plus unannounced daily parking fee.

The location to LAX, the price, the buffet breakfast, the staff, the comfortable bed...everything was great.

What's not to like?

Competent engineering staff that adjusted the room temperature.

It was a bit dirty, low water pressure, and sky high food prices in the restaurant for the quality of the food you get.

I checked in and got my room key. When I first entered my room it had a faint old cigarette smoke smell. I thought ok I'll live with that even if I didn't like it. I was only there for a flight layover. But when I walked in the room there was only one pillow on the bed and it was tipped in a way that looked like someone had just been using the bed. I went back to the front desk and told the check in person I wanted another room and I told him why. He only addressed the smoke issue saying it was a non smoking room and there shouldn't be any smell in there. He did give me another room. It was clean but there were no bath towels-which I didn't really notice until I took a shower the following morning.

Response of the hotel staff regarding the broken shower. Although it was very late, the management came up to the room, determined that shower was broken and helped us move to another room immediately.
