We loved the free breakfast. There was a wide variety that included eggs, ham, yogurt, and fruit!
The refrigerator in our room did not work and was not fixed until the last day of our 4-day stay. The coffee maker stopped working on the 2nd day and was not fixed until last morning.
The a/c didn't work and the window wouldn't ope. It was every noisie
Breakfast was good
ait conditioner was so-so
All easy going
Reception area and breakfast looks rather poor, rest is all ok.
Don't have luggages men
Room was nice. Clean and big. Mini fridge and nice flat screen tv. Plenty of room. Did not feel crowded.
Hotel lobby was nice along with the room but the rest of the place was a little beat up. Needs new carpet and paint in the hallways. The layout is very confusing too.
Neither of the two elevators worked when I arrived or at any time that evening. The wifi worked for about an hour after I arrived and not again that day. The clerks were less than friendly or accommodating.
I've stayed in a few Tucson hotels that were very unappealing and disappointing. This one was by far the best and I recommend this hotel to any traveler.
I have no complaints. I will stay here from now on
Staff was nice and helpful
Wifi was hit and miss, we had to keep phoning to get our room cleaned, as we were there for 10 days, pool towels were very scarce
just being woken up.
A very nice pool and surrounding area. Good gym, nice big room.
It was a bit of a shame that the windows were so dirty!
The free breakfast was very good. I especially enjoyed the omelets. The spa was just the right temp and very relaxing after a day at the gem show. The area around the hotel was quiet.
Elevator was broken
Pleasingly clean, decent breakfast included, central to various points in Tucson
Had trouble connecting with Free Wifi and when I called the night desk was short and snippy with me.
Our only issue was with the hotel bar. We were encouraged to go down and have a cocktail during happy hour. We went down, ordered drinks at the bar and before the first round was even opened I laid my visa card on the bar. The bartender looked right at it and walked away. Shortly after we ordered another round and the bartender put the drinks directly next to my card and walked away. Soon after we asked if we could cash out and finally the bartender announces we are a cash only bar. I didnt have any cash so she refers me to an atm machine in the lobby. All the while acting very rude as if we should have known better. I ran over and grabbed the cash, at a $3.50 fee and my bank alresdy charges $2.00 for a non chase atm. Anyway, it wasnt a huge deal I just dont understand why she didnt tell us before she even poured the forst drink. Why wasnt there a sign posted or why wasn't it listed in the hotel book or why didnt they mention it when they encouraged us to go to the bar. We could have easily driven to a bank prior. And why did we need to be treated so rudely about it? Are we really the only people who didnt realize? It was disappointing and if we ever do atay again, we will avoid that bartender completely.
I was not happy with the bathroom. Looks like all was upgraded but the shower was old and stained.
The room was very modern with a very comfortable bed.
The windows don't open.... there is no ventilation in the bathroom, the hall carpet is soiled.
Spacious, clean room. Lovely pool and jacuzzi, decent breakfast, attractive lobby, free newspaper, gracious, friendly staff.
The wifi was slow and intermittent and didn't work for one of the days we were there.
I could hear conversations through the walls as though they were in the room with me. Absolutely ,no privacy. You could even hear dogs barking. I'm sorry but New Year is a time of celebration I felt like I felt like I was at a retirement home/ doggie daycare/ nursery! Never again
The bananas were good
The quality of the inclusive "help yourself" breakfast was by far the worst of any other hotel chain I ever experienced...COLD eggs, bacon & sausage yuck! Not quality bakery, flimsy plastic cutlery...and the BIGGEST peeve is that the bathroom sink drain smelled like a sewer, sinks & tubs need to be scoured scrubbed thoroughly & a little bleach necessary to disinfect the drain smell...the sheets were wrinkly & unkempt looking...Higher Quality HouseKeeping Training & management necessary all the way around...just not the clean crisp quality & caliber I want to stay at for any price...
Everything was spotless. Breakfast was good.
They need new carpet throughout.
Staff, especially at the desk very friendly and helpful. Searched and printed off Tucson tourist information that we asked about. Kitchen staff friendly.
Breakfast was standard American motel style.
beds are nice. room nice. We like this area. pool was available but not the spa. have stayed here before and will stay again.
there were unsupervised kids in the room next door, they played computer games and got loud. Management did go to the door after 30 min of our call. noise continued off and on. They should have asked for a responsible adult to be in the room? There were lots of kids in rooms with out adults. Some team thing in the area?
We've stayed at many Tucson hotels while our daughter has been attending UofA. We will definitely be back to this location. So close to campus, clean and comfortable.
Overall good place to stay. Staff is very helpful, services good and great value for the money.
Bathroom floor was dirty and bathtubs were dated.
