Price Breakfest was good
Hotel Old and showed it's age
Comfortable bed and room decent.
Problem with toilet. Not a lot of amenities (ex. Pool, hot tub, restaurant or food available after 11 pm)
elevator; indoor pool; lobby area; parking proximity, free breakfast was nice.
carpeting in corridors, stairs to elevator level were spotted badly. my room's sink was spraying water outside the sink if you turned the water up high
Free wifi, great water pressure and quiet
Pillows too soft
Easily located for access to the I 95. Staff were very pleasant. The room was perfect for three of us.
We didn't know breakfast ended at 9:00 so we had to rush. However the breakfast supervisor was really understanding and she waited until we had finished before clearing away which was great!
Bathroom was unclean ,bath you could not step in let alone have a bath in ,pillows in bedroom were uncomfortable so didn't sleep well ,our overall thoughts on here is drive past.
The location and price was very good for my needs.
If I were traveling for business or needed more than just a place to sleep, I would have preferred more amenities.
Cleanliness, relaxing, friendly-staff
Location. It was in a very sketchy area.
Bed was fine.
Toilet leaked into hall Elevator broke (7 floor hotel) Desk clerk was overwhelmed, couldn't find an extra pillow case. Has a sign when they leave desk and its up a lot. Shampoo and soap only on checkin day. No pen or note paper. Manager said it was good enough for the kind of people who stay there.
Convenient location Breakfast was ok
The elevator was out of service The dryer was out of service Not very safe since almost anyone had access to the building
Not enough towels for 3 people. Breakfast food gone by 8:20 and was open until 9 am. No shampoo, conditioner or lotion provided.
When we entered the parking lot there were people having a cook out. When we walked thru the lobby we had to walk thru a cloud of smoke since people were smoking right in the front. We asked for non-smoking and were given a smoking room. The room had wall paper coming off the wall. The chest was balanced on the bottom by matchbooks. The dresser did not properly closed. On the floor there was a box of empty beer bottles. We also realized that the hotel was used for subsidized housing for the State of CT. The breakfast area was dirty. Thank god there was a half way descent dinner attached to the hotel. If you asked me I would want my money refunded for the room.
Overall good package
Poor breakfast. Need to carry the luggage as high as sets of stairs before reaching the elevator(s).
Easy quick access to major freeway Friendly efficient staff Room area and beds were neat and comfortable Bathroom could have been cleaner
Breakfast room was a nightmare - breakfast assortment extremely limited
The price offered is good. The hotel is not fancy but is organized and charge for what they offered. The 'pay when ypu arrive' was the best option.
I really liked the place and it was what I was expecting but next time I'll ask for a bedroom that is not so close to the highway. The amount of trucks is huge and I couldn't sleep well due the noise.
Staff, room decor, easy access off I-95.
Outside scenery too ghettoey, hallway on 6th floor way too warm.
Dirty room, not thoroughly cleaned prior to my check in.
The night desk receptionist did her best to accommodate. She had no additional assistance to allow her to leave the front desk. Should maintain 2 people at the front desk during the evening shift.
My room that I reserved for 2-3 weeks in advance was given to 2 tour buses of people when 1 bus broke down. I was provided what was considered a comparable room for 4 people and wasn't. Had 2 queen size beds and was given a full with a pull out couch that had no sheets or blankets. I did receive sheets and had to sign for the blanket. There were no extra pillows available in the hotel for the pull out sofa. Sofa was very flimsy to sleep on.
Not much I can say here. Easy to get onto 95, With some changes they could have a good thing, locations not bad and price is ok. Did not eat in the restraunt, maybe that's good?
We were assigned a room on the 8th floor that was a smoking room. The smell was so strong there was no way we could stay there. We asked to be moved and the woman at the front desk was quite put out that we wanted to move. She did find us another room without making eye contact or saying a word. Put our new key on the counter and walked away.Very unprofessional. Beds were the worst we had slept on. Pool was unusable, yellow tint and hoses left in it.
Location, comfortable bed
Breakfast a bit wanting. Common spaces are not terribly clean.
The bed was confortable.
There was very few staff on duty, there were many questionable characters loitering around the building, the "continental breakfast" was poorly presented, and it just felt like a third-rate hotel.
Comfortable bed and chairs. Nice little diner attached, good food there.
No docking station in room for charging devices. Only easy access free plug was in the bathroom over the sink!!
It was convenient.
Worn appearance. Common areas not well cleaned. Does not compare well withotherLa Quinta properties.
Breakfast was good.
When we arrived, our room was given to others, even though it was reserved several days in advance. We had requested 2 queen size beds, and had to settle for a room with 1 and a sofa bed. We were uncomfortable in 1 bed and didn't want to bother with the sofa bed. However we were given a small discount.
The best part of our stay was the convenience of the hotels access to I95. The continental breakfast was decent, but the room was below parr The unit needs serious updating. To get to the first floor, guests must climb two sets of stairs to get to their rooms.
