not very well lit area. Smelled a bit at times, not good coffee.
We liked the location, hot tub, pool and room. There are a lot of options for eating close by.
This was our first time staying at a LaQuinta and it is a hotel I'll definitely use again. We had to stay for one night while working at the Monmouth Park Racetrack. The location was less than one minute away via driving and there's a Dunkin Donuts right down the road. The beds were great, the bathroom clean. We had a refrigerator and a microwave. The water pressure in the shower was also quite good. Breakfast was traditional continental but they did have hard boiled eggs and waffle makers, which I don't see at many hotels.
There is no fan in the bathroom to get rid of steam when taking a shower, but to be fair most hotels I've been at recently don't have one.
Great location! Quiet rooms! Very clean!
Security, Non smoking, and the swimming pool and Jacuzzi. I would definitely stay again
The room was cold when I got in, the bathroom didn't have toilet paper and there was a dirty towel folded on the tub.
Staff was courteous, hotel was in good condition.
It is close to the college
The walks are paper thin. Heard everyone else around me. Especially a loud child who woke us up at 6am and kept us up til 9 when we decided sleep was no longer an option.
Low cost and not a dump.
Room refrigerator missing leg and wobbled evert time it was used.
Location was great. Coffee was very good.
Night desk person was more concerned about us knowing she was sick & didn't want to be there than she was willing to tell us the cart full of luggage we had pushed onto elevator would still be needed to be carried up stairs as elevator doesn't go to 2nd floor. Bathroom trash was full when checked in room. Pool VERY small. WiFi was hit or miss. Breakfast was a cluster, not enough tables. Carpets on 2nd floor hallway need to be cleaned badly.
Once you figure out the traffic patterns, the hotel is close to a number of dining places and shopping.
Access to rooms was bad as there is a steep and narrow stairway from the parking lot to the upstairs rooms. Or you can use the elevator by the entrance and deal with a long and narrow hallway; particularly if you are toward the end. This hotel appears to have been a stay for business meetings at one time but that area seems shut down.
Good value and facilties in its price range. Room was clean and well appointed.
Just the fact that it was a nice clean room
no exhaust fan in bathroom. Bathroom door hits wall when opening it .
Good breakfast, which is not a standard in USA Free parking Free WiFi
The room was nice but unfortunately a little bit sticky and musty.
The coffee was awesome at breakfast. Safety and security was good. My room was excellent, I was comfortable and enjoyed my stay. The indoor pool and jacuzzi was terrific.
The was nothing not to like.
Location is the only thing going for this hotel
Horribly hot entrance way, no elevator, not clean, poor design in bathroom, staff not willing to bring up extra pillow, eventually got one after requesting 2. Holiday in Express is $79, this place was $279! ridiculous!!
Room was very clean, quiet, had microwave and fridge, lots of closet space and comfortable clean bedding. Close proximity to beach and lots of shopping. Housekeeping didnt get to our room until 3pm so we just asked for clean towels. The only 2 people who ran the front desk were polite and accomodating. Lots of parking, a clean pool and hot tub. A diversified clientele of pleasant quiet guests. Overall, a pleasant stay.
Continental breakfast was too early, too short, situated in a room that was way too small for all of the guests, took 1/2 hour standing in a line just to get a waffle. Variety of food was very limited and coffee and waffle batter ran out and had to wait for elderly lady to run for more. Only one staff member and a child(?) servicing the breakfast area and woman was rude. We didnt try to get breakfast on our second day. Too crowded and not enough food to go around. Unable to get any phone signal inside of hotel room or halls.
The pool, the gym, the location, the spa, the people.
The humidity and it makes it worst that you can't open the windows. The fan at the bathroom is not that strong and help to dry damp towels.
We loved the pool and spa. The breakfast was nice.
The fact that the pool and spa closed way to early. It should stay open till 11:00 pm for the adults, the tub was slippery should be mats or a handle to hold on to.
Ftint desk staff were very nice.
Wet carpet that were just cleaned but still dirty enough to make bare feet black.
it was overall ok
Room had a very musty smell - needed to be aired out
I went 2 weeks prior to find a nice hotel. The young woman gave me a tour of the facilities and they looked great. I brought my 4 children, daughter-in-law and grandsons to the area for a mini-vacation. They were a genuinely friendly staff from the moment you walked through the front door. The place is well-kept and clean. Twice I saw a man cleaning the windows in the lobby. Details like that were noticed by us. The rooms were comfortable and roomy with plenty of towels! The free breakfast was plentiful with several tables in a small dining area. The pool/jacuzzi area was clean and stocked with towels. It is only a few miles to the ocean beach. The low cost of the room was the best part! We will definitely be going back.
very friendly staff clean wi-fi tv /entertainment
far from main attractions- need a car service small pool jacouzi cold breakfast very basic - served on plastic utensils? not much fruits and other healthy choices
I love the free breakfast, comfortable bed, nice view, refrigerator, microwave and the convenience of being right by a supermarket.
The Wi-Fi was very poor. The service on my phone was very bad I couldn't get any signal strength and everyone had to call me from my room phone.
