Fair price in NYC area, clean. 5 min walk to subway, 2 min to bus stop. 20 minutes to Manhattan on subway. The elevator doesn't stop on street level/reception, you have to drag your bags half a story up or down in narrow stairs. They could put instructions how to use shower (pull down the golden ring on tap - weird!). |

The room was very soundproof. I stayed in a room located very close to the next door. As I'm single my demands are very little. Its neighborhood although bedraggled was very safe to walk even during the night. It was located near a very good restaurant called Pete's Grill which is much better than the McDonald's restaurant located right next to the hotel. The so-called cable television is actually selected channels from a sattelite tv service. Missing was the local cbs channel (Channel 2) and a few other local stations. I don't know whether this was my Tv only, but if you're thinking of a long visit, you may want to consider this if you depend on the tv after a long day. |

It is near subway, easy to find, rooms are ok, all you need when looking for place that is not expensive, but at the same time you have all you need. Breakfast was a little bit poor. |

The hotel is clean, rooms are big, has free parking place, free fast wireless internet. It is at walking distance from the metro station, taking you in less than 20 mins to Time Square. Has breakfast which for US is quite rare. The breakfast is not so good as for European standards, but it is definitely an asset for US. Excellent value for money! |

The biggest asset of the hotel is its price to convenience ratio: the transfer to Manhattan is very easy (a 2 min walk to the subway station) and fast (20 min), while to rates are significantly lower for clean and comfortable rooms. The included breakfast is nice (great donuts), the staff is very friendly and there are a few pleasant eateries nearby (Pete's is especially good value). The carpets in the corridors are due for a change. |

Friendly staff, excellent rates, close proximity to subway and local shops and restuarants, cheap rates with fairly decent sized and comfortable rooms, not too fancy but very nice. Free continental breakfast. |

The room was very confortable and cleaned every day, its in good location near a subway station (just a few stops to grand central station or timesquare with line 7) The brakefast wasnt very extensive, only donnuts, bagels, bread, butter and mermelade, cofee hot chocolate and juice... (but if you love dunkin donnuts like me its ok couse you can choose and ate donnuts every day) |

The convenience of a subway stop two blocks away that was a direct route into Grand Central Station, Times Square and 5th Ave. With one easy transfer could go uptown and downtown Upon arrival we found our room to smell like cigarette smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. They quickly responded by spraying the room and it did help. |

This hotel was very convenient to Manhattan and was clean and close to the subway (2 blocks). Perfect for sightseeing in NYC and much more reasonably priced than hotels in Manhattan. The only downside was that even though it was non-smoking, there were people that smoked in their rooms and made the hallway stink. |

As the location was the main thing because my friends live near by. They do have good services available. Yes, construction was going on right beside my room and I had to get up at 8:00 am maximum. |

Good 2* hotel. Clean, close good metro connection to Manhattan. Normally friendly (Indian) staff. WiFi worked always. Dont expect a cousy environment: the hotel is located on a rather busy street but the neigbourhood felt OK and safe. Quite some handy shops (supermarket) around and a good / basic diner (Pete's grill). The breakfast is a kind of basic. Ok but basic (at least for our European standards). Plastic cuttlery, marmelade in cups, bread to be toasted, milk & one serial, but a wide variety of donuts...:). Friendly guy was "managing" the breakfast room and put the airco warmer on our request. |

Location, very good connections to manhattan, room was great, free internet. We got late check-out for free, that was nice thing to do from the staff since my wife was sick. Breakfast, but it's awful everywhere in america so considered to that it was ok. |

Clean and friendly place to stay. Very good link to Manhattan (public transport). Acceptable neighbourhood – shops and restaurants – how not to mention Pete’s Grill :-) Very helpful staff of the hotel. Summing up – perfect place to visit nyc for the good price. Rooms facing Queens Blvd are exposed to clatter coming from no. 7 subway running through a viaduct. Closing the window and setting on air conditioning will help. So called ‘business centre’ equipped with 1 (say: one) computer slow, full of viruses and malware shall be improved; there is hovever wi-fi internet exempting from use the sick computer. |
