Sorry, not the place for me. Good when you don't mind the lack of a nicelooking place to be. Which I really do.
we had to go and buy our own towels, toilet paper, there was no microwave as advertised... the owner was very rude and did not even offer an apology
Room was nice
toilet flushed the water on the floor. Room 2
We liked the reviews
We made 3 attempts to check in but we could not because the office was locked. A person already a guest could not be attended to as he knocked & knocked. 2 attempts were made after check in time. We expect to be reimbursed in full, we stayed somewhere else where there was actually an employee to give us a room!
it was clean and despite "uniqueness" was comfortable. not modern, but i didn't expect that. price was great and easy access.
bring your own soap and shampo and maybe a good towel. neighborhood might be rough - but i didn't notice any problems
Excellent value. It is a quaint motel, consisting of small red-brick buildings, with vines growing over the entrances. Convenient location just off I-10, but quiet. Nice owner.
Everthing with this place was wrong. There were tiles on floor missing, fridge barely worked and smelled like death so i wouldnt put anything in there, the matress was torn, the sheets werent washed were stained from what looks like blood and there was even a pube in the sheets, the toilets werent clean, the walls were dirty and had writing on them, and EVERYTHING else was just dirty looking and very very run down. I was expecting a bad hotel for the price, and dont mind bad rooms, but this was just WAY too far. It is a place for heroin junkies to stay.
Nice spaceous room.
I wasn't sure whether the bed linens were really clean or already used by someone else. I was quite skeptical in that regard. No a/c which didn't matter much in March since it's cool enough in the nights. But I eel it should be mentioned.
Quiet...slept surprisingly well...just off the freeway, no noise to bother us
Manager was not on site when we arrived....took our payment then left the motel.....motel is an old property and hasn't been updated. Kind of uncomfortable at first, but felt at ease once we settled in.
The people running it are extremely sweet.
I had to make them show me two rooms because the first two literally had ripped comforters and dirt everywhere. I finally got into a halfway ok room that they called "deluxe" clearly hadn't been fully cleaned- someone else's takeout was still in the mini fridge. There was also no one in the lobby ever and the only way to get them was to call them and have them run over from the motel across the street.
Great old fashion roadhouse type cottages from the 1940s. Loved my place. If you want ritzy, go to the Ritz. Bit of a scruffy area, but other than that, excellent value. Very nice owners.
very cozy room and quite :-)
no towels and needs some TLC. also I got charged an extra night that I didn't stay :(
You get what you pay for at La Siesta.
The only thing I liked was that it was about a 2mile drive to the University of Arizona.
The hotel was dirty. The towels stuck as if they haven't been washed. The room had a bad odor to it. And the bedding just did not seem clean. I saw to cockroaches in the bath tub. The pictures they have online are nothing close to what it looks like. The pool was empty. I would not recommend this place to anyone not even my worst enemy.
