When I went to the front desk to sign in - they couldn't find my reservation. Then argued with me that I had one, even though I had my booking # and pin. Finally, when going into the room - the hallway and room smelled so bad of incense it gave you a headache. (Not to mention all your clothes smelled like it too). Beds are small - sheets not changed only pillow cases were. In the 2 nights there the only thing done to our room was the trash took out. Refrigerator didn't get cold enough - so you couldn't bring stuff back for the kids to eat. The toilet leaked (no joke - I had to place a towel around the bottom to catch the water). All in all - the high cost paid for all the aggravation for the room.
The ease and convenience of being close to major attractions.

We paid for exactly what we got and thats what we were looking for. We just needed a place to sleep, shower, and park my car for a festival. We were walking distance to the riverwalk, shops, restaurants and right next door to a food truck park! I'm glad I didnt have to pay for things I wouldn't use like a gym or a pool or other amenities I didn't want on this trip.

The door did not seal, so you could see a light coming from the hall underneath the door and along both sides. The carpet appeared dirty, especially in the hallways and stairwell. They did not change my sheets, they only made up the bed each morning. no breakfast included.
The bed was comfortable.

It wasn't located where they say. It didn't have a suite. It didn't have a pool. The parking was horrible. Don't recommend for anyone to stay there.

We were given a room with 2 beds although it was booked as King size, when we then asked about an issue with the shower, we were told by the owner that we in fact had only paid for a King size and that $10 had been added per night, however this was completely an error on his staff and when we initially offered to just swap rooms he said we couldn't do it now as the room had already been used (this was at 6pm, day of arrival), when, naturally we refused as again it was not by choice we had been given 2 beds and we didn't care either, he let us change room without extra fee although this room had no wifi what so ever. So, watch out for scamming.
Location was ok for the price, wifi sucked.

They had a hidden parking that they didn't tell me until they swiped my card.
Bathroom was okay

Didn't like the fact that it was an older hotel and price was kind of on high side. And wasn't told up front about cost of parking per day. They just charged my card and when asked about extra charges and a detailed bill he put it under taxes. I call it...Taking advantage of the customer when where else can they park when already staying at this hotel.
Location was okay still far from everything.

Nothing good. I had to ask for more toilet paper as there was only one roll...there were no towels. I had to ask for those too...and the power went out in the morning, so we had to shower in the dark...will learn from experience. You get what you pay for.

1. We stayed there from 21-23 of November, but at 17 of November they have charged 200 Dollors. When we look at the bank count and call them, they said that it is only for a test. How can they test with 200 Dollors, and even with our call, they didn´t pay back yet until 17 of Dicember. If we don´t realize that, what will they do?! And when I paid my rooms, they made a copy of my debit card and even want my secure number. 2. Our van is tall, and can not go into their garage,so we need to park outside, but they charge the parking.

No mention of no elevator and all rooms were on the second floor. I am partially disabled and stairs were hard for me. Advertised having HBO. According to office, supposed to be on channel 14, but wasn't there.
It was very clean, comfortable and quiet with a courteous staff. Our bus was 2 hours later than our checkout time, so they kept our luggage in the Office while we walked around a bit. Then offered to call a Taxi for us and did when we picked up the luggage.

It was a little farther from the river walk than I had hoped (about a 7 minute walk), but that's one of the things that made it so cheap I guess! I wouldn't have minded the walk if it was cooler and less sticky outside, so maybe during the winter months this wouldn't be an issue.
First off, I liked that the parking was covered. I also was very impressed with the cleanliness of the room & bathroom. It was all very plain and basic, but nothing was broken or dirty, and we only needed the room for sleeping because we were out doing things all day! To get to the hallway to access the rooms you have to have a room key--so even though it's not a "hotel", it's much safer than a motel where anyone on the street can climb the stairs to your room. If we go back to San Antonio, we'll probably stay here again.

I booked this room back in Feb 2014 for my October stay. Smoking preferred room was given away, advertised Free Wi-Fi that was not available, Room was filthy, had to ask for toilet paper, hairdryer, hangers and the attitude of the owners was disgraceful. No double lock on door and an inch of space at the bottom of the door. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

No meal facilities except small coffee pot in office.
Fair value considering other hotels in area.

The rug. Replace the rug with tiles. The air conditioner is very noisy.
