SpringHills Rodeway Inn Lake George    

Not to fare from Canada street.

We paid for room with breakfast, but no breakfast. No staff during my trip. Door for the breakfast was closes. And we never see someboby in the front desk during the week end trip. No machine for coffee or soft drink, so you have to go outside for something to drink.

I did not like the inn or the service. It was very basic for the amount charged. Additionally no proper breakfast was served. My friend and I were both charged for the service although he used his card and I called them to remove the charge from my card/which the inn had on record./

It's a dive!!! Missing outlet cover with bed sheets pushed against outlet, lamps blinking, no hbo as advertised, fuzzy tv picture, asked for a toothbrush that we forgot and they had to look and maybe be able to find one. Very outdated in appearance. Very overpriced for what it was. Would never stay here again, would not recommend this place!

Overcharged, unsuitable dinning area, improper rules ( you couldnt get the breakfast to the room because they would charge $40 for doing that). That was valid even if their breakfast dining area ( 4 tables) would be full. Check in time was pushed to 4pm instead of 3 pm while the check out time was 11 am. Not even 24 hrs for $190. You get more for that money in Manhattan.

It was not the Inn's fault, but Booking. Com that I had to pay more to stay there, because Booking screwed up and booked us in a hotel that had no vacancy.

The pool was crystal clear and very clean. There were multiple places outside with Adironadack-style chairs to sit or picnic tables, some with umbrellas, to eat at. I would definitely stay at the SpringHills Rodeway Inn at Lake George again.

The only thing I liked about this hotel was how close it was to everything, but I am sorry I would not recomend this hotel to another couple, there where hotels alot nicer for a cheeper price, but we didnt want a cheeper hotel we wanted a clean, frendly Hotel, there free breakfast was 2 kinds mini muffens, and and chereal, there drink station was closed,and there staff person didn't wear gloves at anytime while he filled the bread, then emptied the trash, then cleaned the table then went back to add Milk to the station, my Husband and I got up and left after that , there free-wi-Fi was down for most of our stay. Our hot-tub in the room could have been cleaner, you could see where the water level was left from the last person, on the day of ckeckout house keeping was nocking at the door at 9am, when check out was at 11am, the day before housekeeping didn't come to the room until after 2:15pm

The property grounds were nicely landscaped. The pool was clean and a good size. I witnessed a family having a barbeque in one of the grills provided on the property. They were enjoying a nice famiy picnic.

The hotel itself needs to be gutted out. The phone didn't work, the toilet seat was broken, only some of the outlets had power. I had to sit on the broken toilet seat to get wifi because it was not available throughout the room. I spent over $600.00 for 3 rooms, 2 nights. It was not excactly cheap but I felt like I was staying in a run-down $49.99 special budget hotel. The breakfast was so bad - they served artificial orange juice and the coffee was undrinkable. To top things off there was a sign in the breakfast room that threatened to charge $40.00 if you took out food to eat it in your room. They tried to charge me an addtional $15.00 when I requested to have 2 rooms with a connecting door. I can go on......It was pretty bad. I actually wanted to go home after the first night but we were there to spend time as a famiy. So I hung in there. Oh, and did I mention the dust all around the window sill?? Yuck!!!

The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was up-to-date with plenty of hot water (at seven A.M.) for the shower. We did not visit the free continental breakfast offered by the hotel because we had other plans. Vending and ice machines were also in working order. I would stay there again on our next visit.

The rooms were larger than normal. The pool was nice and clean. Lots of parking. Near the outlets for shopping. Lots of restaurants nearby. Also lots of other motels in the area.

One reason I chose this Inn other than price was their "continental breakfast". Don't let it fool you. Mini bagels, small muffins, 2 cereals and coffee. We are used to a real continental breakfast. We stayed 2 nights and went out for breakfast on the second morning.

Could not use both beds as 1 of the bed sheets when pulled down appeared to have left over Vomit on them, room had a moth ball smell & a/c barely worked.

I was pleased with my stay until when I went to check out and found that they already charged the card I had given to hold the room. When I checked in I specifically asked the girl to not charge that card that I would be paying in cash or with another card and she assured me that it wouldn't be.

The location was good , right off the highway, close to our destination and off the beaten path.

The hotel management needs help!! Our key would not let us back in at night had to track someone down to get another one. The beds where not changed daily.

Convenience to Lake George

Upon checkout, employee not able to give us a receipt because he did not have access to the system. Have never encountered something like this in all of our travels. Not a good practice and don't think we would stay there again because of that.

The hotel was reasonably priced. It was fairly clean and the beds were comfortable.

The "continental breakfast" was pitiful. The had bread, cold cereal and muffins. There was watered down juice and the coffee had "sample sized" cups.

The hotel was in a great location. The hotel, grounds & pool were very clean & the staff were nice.

The bed had a mattress cover on it that was very stiff & didn't fit the mattress & it made if very uncomfortable to sleeep on.

Our family enjoyed the convenient location of the Inn and we also loved the pool.

What I didn't like was that the pics on booking.com showed fruit as part of the continental breakfast and there was no fruit offered. Also there were a bunch of cobwebs and dead bugs on the curtains and window sills of the room.

The hotel was excellent for the cost . The pool was clean and nice . Overall good deal .
