It was a cozy room with a fridge and a tv . You get what you pay for .
Only complaint was the shower pressure , but it's not enough to make a bad a review .
Close to the downtown strip and activities. Clean and with modest accommdations
Most of the parking is on a hill but found a spot for the m/c that wasnt. I had to ask twice for the manager to put the heat on. He was not very personable. The beds were a bit stiff.
It was available on my route when I wanted a room.
The poor directions and address that was offered in the on-line promotion of the site. Specifically, (I don't remember the 'house number' on the street, but let's just say it was 4736) the address was listed as 4736 Lake Shore Drive in Lake George. The major problem is that "Lake Shore Drive" is not indicated on ANY roadsigns; and it is impossible for a traveller to find that address... only to later learn that "Lake Shore Drive" is in fact a State Route (I forgot WHICH State Route number it is - let's just say it's Route 7)... and yet NOTHING in the Pine Brook Motel promotion ever SAYS it's on Route 7 (which is READILY found on ANY STATE MAP or area map or Lake George. Consequently, "4736 Lake Shore Drive" is pretty-much USELESS and a total waste of gas and time for the traveller... all of it without apology or concern. I wouldn't want another traveller to deal with that UNNECESSARY frustration on my stamp of approval, so it doesn't get one. (Because of that.) TELL US IT'S ROUTE 7 !!!
Its cheap but you get what you pay for. All and all not bad.
Rooms are small and out dated
Clean, attractive room, everything worked. Good bed. Wonderful view! English Brook is directly behind the motel - fun to hear the water but it's not loud enough to be intrusive.
No Wi-fi, no coffee in the room, but considering the price I can't complain. I was very comfortable and happy.
Clean, reasonable price, very helpful staff.
Trouble with wi-fi
Staff was friendly and room was clean. For the price the room and location of motel was great. Happy to have a mini-fridge in the room to store milk for our toddler. We were looking for an inexpensive, last-minute place at Lake George and this place fit us well.
Wish there was wifi available. If there is wifi we didn't know about it. The heater worked fine but looked like it could have used a cleaning. The rooms were small but decent for the price.
Torn shower curtains, no ice, torn tablecloths at pool, pool not heated, advertised double room but wasnt
great location. a little away from all the hustle and bustle but just about everything was in walking distance. Motel room was updated. Others said theres wasnt but sure they will continue. Staff was good. Tony the young man who cleans the rooms does a good job. There was fresh coffee every morning. No complaints here. Will stay there again.
Only thing i didnt like was that pool wasnt heated like they say on there website, but we went in anyway..was clean.. deck needs a little TLC..
The employee was not friendly at all.the pool was not we expected. The toilet wasn't working properly, we had to hold the handle.not enough towels , not very happy with pinebrook motel.
Was not aware of all the amenities until day of departure should be outlined in room binder. E.g did not know of morning coffee or microwave for all travelers
The pool was nice and the room was pretty clean considering. I liked the stream that ran in back of the motel and how nice it sounded when you had the bathroom window open. It was fairly close to town but far enough where it was quiet.
The pool advertised that it was heated and it is'nt. The parking lot is on a hill and it was hard to open up your car door getting out. The curtains that were in our room needed replacing because of wear and tear. The outside deck tables were dirty and the umbrella to help shade the sun were inoperable and in needed repair. It would have helped for the man at the desk would have spoke better English. We went outside to get coffee where they had the coffee bar set up and there was only powdered milk and regular sugar and no sugar substitute like splenda or sweet and low.
Very clean. Good location
Location. Friendly staff
Very old & tired facility. This is a $59/night room, not the $150/night we were charged due to time we were there (August 8th). Hard hard bed. Pillows the size of Shreddies. Lake George Area is overrated for what you have to pay to stay there.
Clean, kind manager.
Felt like was being watched constantly. Not friendly...never smiled. Over priced!
Location was right in the village, 10 minute drive from the Great Escape, right near resturants and the lake
Bathroom was a little dirty and shower drain did not work properly
The room was a little small, but seemed clean. The location was close to everything. The price wasn't bad.
The first night the sheets unfortunately got blood stains on them. They weren't changed during our whole stay. The bathtub didn't drain properly and wasn't cleaned during our entire stay either. Someone also left their deodorant and my husband found it under our bed. The housecleaning staff definitely needs to step it up. I just hope bloody sheets won't be left for the next traveler.
Bed and Location.
Curtains were see through and let sun in. Also curtain in bathroom was see through and people in hotel behind us could look in bathroom (if they so desired). Disappointed because I was of the belief Booking.com visited these hotels and was endorsing them. Our friends stayed at two other hotels close by (in walking distance) and paid slightly more ($15) per night - but each motel had much more to offer.
Location was excellent.
In Canadian hotels, all rooms have their own coffee machines. There wasn't any in this room. The room was too small. There was barely any room to move.
close to town, within walking distance
could use a coffee maker, or supply it in the office.Long way to go for coffee
Poor value for my money
close to restaurants, easy to find. Staff accommodating.
Somewhat small and older.
Arrived 4 hours earlier than check-in. Owner let us into room right away. Very clean, neat and friendly. Pool, grounds and room was cleaned daily. Fresh towels, waste baskets emptied and bathroom cleaned. Gave us a nice gift from his country when we left. Would recommend to anyone and will stay there again. If you treat people with respect, they will also treat you that way and these people were very respectful. Thank You Pinebrook for a wonderful stay.
The rooms were very clean and staff was attentive to our needs. Groan was an excellent host.
