The hot tub didn't work.
Proximal to downtown restaurants.
Originally placed in area where people with pets stayed but they did move us. Felt like they shouldn't have placed us in that area to begin with since we didn't bring pets.
Changed our room when asked. Front desk staff accommodating .
Realized in the morning that my sheeys had old blood stains that hadn't come out in the wash. Staff put them on my bed anyway, no quality control.
Easy in/out. Nice tv's in room.
The staff was very informative about the local sites !!
Room was dirty widows were drafty bathroom was not that clean bedspreads were dirty and something dripped from the ceiling on to the bed my son was in I love the location but really do feel I was ripped off with the price not sure if I will go back if prices are going to go up and quality continue to go down:(((
There was a fire place that did not work and the room desperatley needed some chairs to relax in. There was only one desk chair in the room. The staff was great and brought us another chair but some comfy chairs would have gone a long way
The bed was really comfortable and room was a nice size. We did not feel cramped at all
The room and hotel could use a makeover. It seems a little tired. Baseboard molding hadn't been cleaned in a long time and the closet has someone else's candy wrappers in it.
Th bed was very comfortable.
Parking was a little tight, but we did find one last space.
Clean, comfortable and within short walking distance to downtown! Very comfortable pillows.
vending machine prices lack of parking lack of parking lack of parking lack of parking
comfiest bed known to humankind
Hotel in general is in need of updating
We love the location ! View was amazing. Staff was very helpful
The thin walls! I could hear kids running up and down the hallways well past 10:00pm at night. I thought the price for a room with 2 gueen beds was a bit high as well.
The staff was helpful and friendly.
The shower wall appearance (?dripped glue?) and this comment was positively received by the Reception Desk Attending Person. I'd prefer vertical blinds for blocking sun, but allowing light into the room. Also, a higher level toilet for seniors would be helpful, and a vent for the bathroom. Could have the closet rearranged to be accessible w/out entering the bathroom. Just suggestions.
The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. The bed was fine and quiet setting.
The most uncomfortable bed and pillows, old smelly carpet.
Location is really good, close to main attractions. Staff is friendly.
The hotel may be going through new ownership or renovation, but it was kind of "sad" and outdated, alot of unused space, signs all over stating "24 Hour Surveillance Video" - just kind of scary feeling sometimes. The furniture and "decor" were hugely outdated, not alot of care taken in keeping the fact that they are in the midst of several obvious updates hidden - pretty much all out there - rolled up carpets blocking bathrooms, doors that arent secure, bathroom "fixes" that were shoddy, the lack of a towel bar, security locks on the room and a very highpriced breakfast buffet featuring eggs, sausage/bacon and pancakes with juice, bananas, milk coffee a couple of muffins for $10.95 - not exactly a buffet - should have been free...plus they say 7 A.M., but the staff wasnt even there at 7 A.M. - - people want to get out and ski not wait for the restaurant to open. I would probably stay again just because of the price, but I was just uncomfortable and felt like maybe they were just in the midst of reno and if I came back it might??? Be better? The elevator also was kind of scary - - small and dirty.
The beds were very comfy.
Hotel is old needs to be spruced up, beds were not that comfortable
location, close to shops & dining
Not very clean. Old and looks old ...
Need a better hot tub and update the elevator very scary
Close to downtown bars and nitelife
Room old, water pressure in the shower was aweful!!!! Carpets old , torn up and dirty . Doors are filthy around handles . Expensive hotel for quality! Should be a $50.00-$60.00 room!!!!
We went out Friday evening, when we returned there was no parking left in the lots. We asked the front desk where we should park. He showed where to park on the road. We did and were issued a parking ticket.
We took the ticket to the front desk explained what happened, they reimbursed us for the ticket.
There was mold in the tub, floors were dirty (I would not walk barefoot on the carpet), crud and scum in the corners, scuffs on the walls, paint/walls cracked and peeling around heater, heater was so loud, could hear everything in hallways, adjacent rooms, and outside from the room, tiny bathroom, noticed small hairs on sheets/bedding. When we told them we were going to a new hotel, they immediately gave us a full refund, no questions asked, which tells me guests leaving is probably not a rare occurrence.
-interior of halls and rooms seemed out of date -bathroom was small and under par compared to other hotels -wifi that I planned to use was not consistently strong enough to keep a connection
-amazing staff that quickly without hesitation moved our room that we were not 100% happy with -great view over mirror lake -location at the head of the main drag the village of Lake Placid for ideal
Dated tiny bathroom, old pullout cauch with stains
Staff was very friendly, nice indoor pool area, walk to Main Street attractions!
