Score from 30 reviews Very good
The room was spacious and comfortable and was convenient to where we were going.
The shower would be at a good temperature and then in an instant would be scalding! That was the only issue.
ambiance, room, view, location
Great greeting upon my arrival and very clean and well cared for property.
Nothing to mention here.
Room spacious and bed comfortable. Only problem was that electrical connections were loose. Coffee pot had to be moved before it worked.
Location: the closest to Mono Lake
The bath was dirty and unusable due to sewage blocking It was very cold so we had to use the air conditioning to warm the room. It made such noise that we just couldn't sleep.
Close to Mono Lake, Body ghost town and East entrance to Yosemite. Room was clean and large. Nice grounds and quiet even with 395 so close.
Not much in town, few restaurants
Our cabin was spacious, clean and fully equipped.
Location, nature, heating, nice cottage...
wifi out of range
This is a convenient place to stay after taking a day to drive from Yosemite Valley through the Tioga Pass road.
It was odd that the bedroom did not have a window although the sitting room did.
Large room, very clean.
Bathroom tile floors are cold in the morning! Not enough electrical outlets for those of us traveling with smartphones and computers.
the coffee pot did not work, the wall plugs were loose causing the plugs to not stay in socket, other than that the room was clean, bed comfortable. good location
We had somehow managed to book a "suite" with full kitchen facilities including a dishwasher, soup maker, microwave etc etc! There was a free washing machine and tumble drier on each floor and powder was provided free. A good range of restaurants staff very helpful and friendly
Renovations were taking place and we were directed to our room via concrete floors, newly decorated walls and many dust sheets!
Poor internet due to location of the city. The city doesn`t have DSL.
no available breakfast
We got a spacious and clean room
First, at the Lake View Lodge you don't see the lake. We had reserved a room for two but we had to move the date. We called the hotel to make the change and told them that we would be four persons. They sayed that it was not a problem because they had upgraded us to a room with two double beds. But when we arrived, they charged us 135$ instead of the 89$ of the previous reservation saying that now we were four. I don't find that attitude honest because they never told us about the price change when we phoned.
Spacious room, very clean, friendly staff, good location although some room a bit close to highway. I asked for a quiet room and was satisfied. The town while small had everything a traveler needed. I would stay there again.
everything was fine.
Location is great.
Small room. Floor was not level. Wi-Fi very weak would not connect. No breakfast. No pool.
You get what you pay for. Rate was reasonable.
very dated, stained bathroom sink and tub, very noisy ac/heater fan. Room is very dark.
Bathroom towels thread bare had to use two towels to dry after a shower, and I'm a smaller person. Hair dryer didn't work. Weak internet signal. No complementary breakfast. No HD T.V.
Close to Tioga pass so provides a great stopping point on way through to Yosemite
Outdated rooms Noisy plumbing, neighbours and upstairs showers will wake you up Noisy aircon and heating Bed uncomfy Staff disinterested
Beautiful location. Huge room Helpful staff
Location was awesome We stayed in a cabin and loved it Peaceful Great customer service Clean cabin
Great location and good base to visit Yosemite and Mono lake. Friendly people.
Grounds and gardens were nice.
Less than minimalist kitchen. Name is a misnomer, can only see the lake from a few places on the property.
WiFi is terrible. I have stayed at Lake View Lodge for the last 5 years and each year their Wi Fi has been terrible. You would think that should be able to come into the 21st Century soon.
