Score from 150 reviews Very good
Good location for visits to Mono Lake, Bodie and Yosemite. The landscaping is impressive and refreshing...like a mountain meadow.
Proximity to Yosemite and Mono lake. The Lodge looks old and dated but the room was spotless with microwave and the refrigerator. The outdoor area was beautiful with gardens and flowers, enjoyed eating on picnic table under the trees
Asked for a handicap friendly room during the checking in when I realized the room was upstairs with no elevator. The clerk changed price on us without asking if that is OK. I didn't think front desk guy was courteous and friendly. Too bad it could have been better.
Wi-fi didn't work in our room Almost no natural daylight in the room. Very expensive for the facilities provided.
location is good for photographing mono lake
The place is a bit quirky, the wifi doesn't work at all
We got what we booked. One night is not enough to rate everything therfore I rated all with "fair"
Wifi range could be better.
Good location, clean, quiet. good value for the money. Nice landscaping.
Rooms showing some wear and tear; dated furnishings.
Near the east gate of Yosemite Park, location is very good
Gorgeous design and gardens High quality rooms and environment Great location (if you come from east as we came...) as gateway to Yosemite/Tayoga, as well as Mono lake and June lake loop (3 lakes).
Good location close to the Mono Lake. Easy to find.
- The room was quite worn and seen its heyday. - You are paying quite a lot just for the location. - Internet connection was REALLY bad.
Convenient for access to local attractions, dining and shopping.
Noisy, especially when others in the building were moving around.
Massive, clean room and bathroom facilities, pleasant staff, great for yosemite, friendly staff
Wifi a bit slow but you re in the mountains!
Location, location, location. We spent the whole day in Yosemite NP, slept in Lake View lodge (15 minutes from Yosemite NP) and started the next day at Mono Lake.
Although the wifi should have been "available in all areas" the truth is that the connection was strong only at the reception. There was no wifi in the room. Also, the room was quite small so cant imagine spending there more than 3 days.
everything was perfect!
Positioned well at the end of Tioga Pass. Free parking. Beautiful gardens
poor frontage - no view of the lake! and door opened onto a public passage so poor ventilation
liked the room, and the microwave.
parking seemed to be a problem
It was not much for the price. Disappointing.
the cabins are great
location is great. very close to mono lake/yosemite np. staff were helpful and nice. cabin was very neat and clean.
wi-fi quality was poor. curtain didnt cover the window fully so we were waken up by the sun quite early in the morning. (might be a pro..)
Very close to the main restaurants in Mono. A quick 10 min drive to South Lake Tufa.
Great place to stay at Mono Lake, 2 restaurants walking distance, big and clean rooms
price, rather costly
Bathrooms in room
The coffee shop has great stuff
Very loud: doors/windows do not keep noise out at all, Highway right next to the door, lots of other guests running around / lingering in from of the rooms at all times Expensive for what you get
Great location. The property itself is very nice with pretty landscaping.
No breakfast included and even with the 20% discount they give you for the coffee shop on their property it's still pretty pricey ($11.80 for two medium coffees and two pastries). I would recommend to ask where the room is they are giving you. There are no linen blinds, just the heavy ones, so you either are on full on display or darkness and have to turn on the lights. Then the bed was right underneath the window and street lights coming in from under right where the head lies. Not my favorite set up.... In the morning loud noises from delivery trucks to the grocery market that was right behind our room. So, it was ok but definitely on the pricey side for what you get.

We had a little cabin that was great. The town was small enough to walk around for shopping and eating.
