Clean and quiet. Good location. Good value.
The water temp was terrible. Would not get hot in the shower and too hot in the kitchenette. Faucet handles hard to operate'
Very old fashioned and tired. Needs a make over. Expensive probably twice the going rate. The most we have paid in USA and the poorest.
One of the best places to stay when visiting Mono Lake. Good hotel.
proximity to Yosemite
misleading name... "lake view". No lake view. no proximity to Mono Lake
Had a good night of sleep. Car was park right in front of the cabin. Clean cabin and bathroom.
They told us the coffee house (on their property) would be open the next morning so we could get breakfast. It was closed
Close to Mono Lake and Yosemite.
Price too high. Air conditioner is pretty noisy. No breakfast.
The bare bones cottage was very comfortable and had a picnic table and fire pit outside. We could park right out front of the cottage. The restroom, which was diagonal from the cottage, was a short walk and very clean.
We did not like getting woken up by the resident rooster at 5 AM the first night. Since it kept crowing periodically after that, we were unable to get back to sleep. The second night we were awakened at 3 AM and then later again at 6 AM by the same "alarm clock". We won't stay at this facility again.
location is convenient.
Poor wifi qualifty. speed very slow.
it's very close to Yosemite east entrance. Lee Vining is quite town. It's a great experience to visit the Mono Lake south tufa. Many photographers were there. we live in a cabin which has small kitchen. it's really quite.
Very friendly staff; nice rooms; quiet.
The AC unit has no constant-fan option, so the noise is very noticeable when it turns on and off (which it did frequently). I didn't notice it with earplugs, but it kept my girlfriend awake all night.
Comfortable room, good amenities, close to good restaurant, very nice grounds. Will stay again.
The bed was little hard for me, I have a sleep number bed so was a little uncomfortable.
- Nice big cabin - Great cooking facilities - Fire stove - Good location - Nice and quiet
- WiFi was hard to get in the cabins
very nice cabin, strategic position to mono lake and yosemite np
little bit expansive
We stayed in one of the cabins, which are pleasant, and fairly new. Great location for Yosemite and Mono/June/Mammoth Lakes area.
no basic supplies: salt/pepper, lighter/matches for gas stove. Had to make two trips to ask, were handed over perfunctorily. Staff did their jobs, but not personably. Many people on site in homes and campers were clearly more permanent; I guess they already had their "club", so they didn't have to make us feel at all welcome.
Possibility of seeing bears :)
The cabins are around the back on a poorly lit path. They are also very small. Coffee shop supposedly offering breakfast had a very limited selection of rolls and pastries (although they were delicious). Checkin was delayed because they used the name of our guest for the booking, not me who made it!
Lovely garden out front to sit and admire the lake, walk to restaurants
Close to the National Park entrance and convenient stop-over for onward drive towards Death Valley area. Very large, attractive lake nearby (although reduced in size at time of our visit due to the ongoing drought)
Stayed in motel room at the front, ours was very dark due to trees outside and room lighting was very poor. There was no parking space near to the room. WiFi did not work at all in our room, we had to stand in the car park to get connection.
Nice room and view for the price
Bed was horrible - need new mattresses
Near to park
No other restaurant
Convenience to Mono Lake and downtown Lee Vining. Great maid service.
The facilities need to be updated. They look "tired".
Cabin was clean, tidy and perfectly acceptable, and with a well stocked store next door, it's ideal for a beer and a picnic on the balcony if you don't want to go out. Great location for the start of a visit to Yosemite via Tioga pass. Mono lake-go to the south view site for the best view.
No lake view from the cabin!
View from the gardens onto the Mono Lake
Furniture dated, need room & bathroom refurb
The location was good- although Lee Vining is a really small place so restaurants, shops are all within walking distance. The room was massive and really well equipped (fridge, microwave, 2 flat screen TVs). The bed was massive and really comfortable. The place is really quiet so good quality of sleep. The price was really good.
The WiFi wasn't great but then we were told by the reception that its because of the location, so not a big deal. We were given a voucher for discounts in a nearby caff which was closed for the season so would have been nice that the hotel staff was aware of that, but again not a big deal as few options within walking distance.
Small but cosy lodge Clean Well furnished
Name misleading "Lake View" Bizarre inmediate location amongst trailers Where woked-up by 2 roosters at 4 in the morning
