The comfort of the room
Had a hard time finding how to turn on the jacuzzi tub.
Staff was very welcoming, beautiful suite, and convenient to have a full menu bar/restaurant downstairs to get a bit to eat or drink. One of the first Hotels that we have stayed in that we were unable to hear our neighbors.
Only negative is parking. They need a drop/check-in spot at least, for ease of loading and unloading your bags.
Great place, Awesome staff, delicious food, that's why we keep coming back to Lakeview!
Loved the owners, staff. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast there every day. Nice fireplace, tubs. Very convenient location -- right downtown Chelan.
Beds and pillows very uncomfy. Parking is 3 blocks away, which is extremely inconvenient if inclement weather or when checking in/out with bags.
There where a lot of restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance and the bed was comfortable. The fireplace kept the room nice and warm.
No overnight parking by the hotel. You have to park a block and a half away which in the rain and snow was not very convenient. The bartender at the restaurant downstairs played loud music late at night after the restaurant closed.
The room was gorgeous and proximity to downtown couldn't be better. The jetted tub was pure perfection.
The wifi is shared with the extremely loud bar downstairs. We were unable to use it for the length of our stay. The noise level made it difficult to sleep at night. It didn't mesh well with the quiet adult atmosphere that was advertised. The curtains for our room (facing the road) were shear and all night we had to contend with lights from the cars, snowplows and street lights There was no onsite parking as indicated. The "parking" was at a public lot several blocks away. We had to go through a service entrance due to lack of parking and not a single employee offered to help us with our bags. Quality of service for the amount we paid on an event weekend certainly left us wanting more.
The room was beautiful and comfortable
Great location, clean rooms
No parking during events. Have to check in at resturant downstairs
Nothing but an excellent experience at the Lakeside Hotel. Book a room and start to enjoy!!!
Everything from the room to the staff very accommodating! Feels like home! And we love that they remember us from our previous visits! Very welcoming!
Great bath tub & fireplace close to water.
No dedicated parking. No breakfast available in the morning.
Everything inside the room and staffs are really nice. It is very good that the hotel has a bar on 1st floor.
Nothing...but bathtub could be cleaner...
The room was very delightful and it did not smell like a old room/building. The room was quiet and very nice décor. Would we stay here again-yes. The drive to Leavenworth and Plain was beautiful with the trees change colors. Very Nice. Thank you!!!
The dusting lady has skipped her duties-cobwebs were on the sky light and the lights but everything was clean. The shower curtain needed to be clean-pinkish-orange at the bottom of the curtain.
Parking was 2 blocks away in a lot but so what, it was next to Sherrifs office so car was safe.
We really liked our room, very comfortable and quiet surroundings. Really enjoyed chatting with Brent while at breakfast one morning at the restaurant downstairs. Service was great and quick.
The parking situation was our only real complaint. We parked at the lot that we were told about which worked out OK. Just a bit concerned about the remoteness and that we were the only ones parked there.
comfortable bed, jetted tub, skylights, wi-fi, very quiet
Could not get the room cool enough. "Air conditioner" does NOT get cool enough! Had to ask for a new pillow - the one on the bed when we arrived had black hairs on it!!!
Nicely renovated. Rooms are clean & they have done a beautiful job maintaining a historic feel with a modern design. The staff was nice & I believe the woman owner was sincere when we brought up the discrepancy between the room we saw & read about & the room we actually stayed in for one night. We booked the room last minute, canceling our room across the street at Campbell's Resort because we saw we would have a spa tub in our room. Although we enjoyed the outdoor hot tub at Campbell's, my fiancé had a back injury & we thought a spa tub in the room would be a great benefit for him. Unfortunately, the booking said we would have a jacuzzi tub at $249/night but we did not have this tub when we received our room. We immediately contacted front desk but were told they were booked & couldn't move us to a room with a jacuzzi tub. I asked to have the owner contact us in the morning so we could discuss compensation for false advertising when we booked the room. I was told the owner would be alerted. At checkout I still had heard nothing from the owner, when I went to the front desk to check out I was greeted kindly by staff, I believe it was Afri, one of the owners. She said I should book more ahead to receive the room I desired but didn't want to discuss that the room was advertised with jacuzzi tub & wet bar. Instead she told me to mention the problem next time we booked a room there. She didn't say why I should mention. It but I got the feeling it wasn't for a future discount. She offered me a Bloody Mary for the road. I took a fireball on the house since I figured that would be my only compensation & my fiancé, back injury still hurting & I headed out of town.
False advertisement of jacuzzi tub & wet bar in the queen bed rooms. Should change their website & bookings on booking.com to reflect accurate room amenities.
The rooms were very clean and modern. Keurig coffee maker and large size bathtub. The hotel/bar staff were very helpful.
Wifi was noted as being included but signal did not reach our room. Window shades could be better for more privacy.
The location was excellent for us. The owners were very friendly and made us feel welcome from the start.
sun coming in through the window. I guess u can't help that!!
The room was very nice and clean and the location was right in the heart of everything.
Didn't get any sleep as they street lights right in the windows and no shades worth using. It is also right above a bar that draws an amazingly noisy people. Wouldn't recommend this place.
The room was lovely and it was close to restaurants, the lake and church.
We stayed in room 201 which looked out onto the street and both evenings we were there people congregated outside the restaurant under our window visiting loudly keeping us awake--the second evening until 2:30 am.
Pillows were not down
We rounded the corner coming into Chelan and there she stood. Charming and elegant with eclectic appeal. We found parking along the street and walked into the homey pub/hotel check in where we were greeted by an incredibly friendly Bartender/Desk Clerk. Our check-in was simple and our room was fantastic. (note.... If you are a photographer... This is an ideal spot for a boudouier/shower/ location shoot!!) the skylight over the bed offered natural morning light and the tube lighting in the bath area was exceptional! The staff, including the owners-- Brent & Afni made us feel welcome and like honored guests in their home. We will make the Lakeview Hotel our home-away from home spot in Chelan! As a matter of fact, we loved it so much, we extended our stay by one night!
The parking was a bit difficult but that's no fault of the hotel. They DO have a parking lot about three blocks from the hotel. THe positive part of that is the lot is located very close to the sheriffs office so we felt pretty secure.
The rooms were very comfortable and well appointed. The location was close to restaurants, bars and local attractions.
