Great bath tub & fireplace close to water.
No dedicated parking. No breakfast available in the morning.
Everything inside the room and staffs are really nice. It is very good that the hotel has a bar on 1st floor.
Nothing...but bathtub could be cleaner...
The room was very delightful and it did not smell like a old room/building. The room was quiet and very nice décor. Would we stay here again-yes. The drive to Leavenworth and Plain was beautiful with the trees change colors. Very Nice. Thank you!!!
The dusting lady has skipped her duties-cobwebs were on the sky light and the lights but everything was clean. The shower curtain needed to be clean-pinkish-orange at the bottom of the curtain.
Parking was 2 blocks away in a lot but so what, it was next to Sherrifs office so car was safe.
We really liked our room, very comfortable and quiet surroundings. Really enjoyed chatting with Brent while at breakfast one morning at the restaurant downstairs. Service was great and quick.
The parking situation was our only real complaint. We parked at the lot that we were told about which worked out OK. Just a bit concerned about the remoteness and that we were the only ones parked there.
comfortable bed, jetted tub, skylights, wi-fi, very quiet
Could not get the room cool enough. "Air conditioner" does NOT get cool enough! Had to ask for a new pillow - the one on the bed when we arrived had black hairs on it!!!
Nicely renovated. Rooms are clean & they have done a beautiful job maintaining a historic feel with a modern design. The staff was nice & I believe the woman owner was sincere when we brought up the discrepancy between the room we saw & read about & the room we actually stayed in for one night. We booked the room last minute, canceling our room across the street at Campbell's Resort because we saw we would have a spa tub in our room. Although we enjoyed the outdoor hot tub at Campbell's, my fiancé had a back injury & we thought a spa tub in the room would be a great benefit for him. Unfortunately, the booking said we would have a jacuzzi tub at $249/night but we did not have this tub when we received our room. We immediately contacted front desk but were told they were booked & couldn't move us to a room with a jacuzzi tub. I asked to have the owner contact us in the morning so we could discuss compensation for false advertising when we booked the room. I was told the owner would be alerted. At checkout I still had heard nothing from the owner, when I went to the front desk to check out I was greeted kindly by staff, I believe it was Afri, one of the owners. She said I should book more ahead to receive the room I desired but didn't want to discuss that the room was advertised with jacuzzi tub & wet bar. Instead she told me to mention the problem next time we booked a room there. She didn't say why I should mention. It but I got the feeling it wasn't for a future discount. She offered me a Bloody Mary for the road. I took a fireball on the house since I figured that would be my only compensation & my fiancé, back injury still hurting & I headed out of town.
False advertisement of jacuzzi tub & wet bar in the queen bed rooms. Should change their website & bookings on booking.com to reflect accurate room amenities.
The rooms were very clean and modern. Keurig coffee maker and large size bathtub. The hotel/bar staff were very helpful.
Wifi was noted as being included but signal did not reach our room. Window shades could be better for more privacy.
The location was excellent for us. The owners were very friendly and made us feel welcome from the start.
sun coming in through the window. I guess u can't help that!!
The room was very nice and clean and the location was right in the heart of everything.
Didn't get any sleep as they street lights right in the windows and no shades worth using. It is also right above a bar that draws an amazingly noisy people. Wouldn't recommend this place.
The room was lovely and it was close to restaurants, the lake and church.
We stayed in room 201 which looked out onto the street and both evenings we were there people congregated outside the restaurant under our window visiting loudly keeping us awake--the second evening until 2:30 am.
Pillows were not down
We rounded the corner coming into Chelan and there she stood. Charming and elegant with eclectic appeal. We found parking along the street and walked into the homey pub/hotel check in where we were greeted by an incredibly friendly Bartender/Desk Clerk. Our check-in was simple and our room was fantastic. (note.... If you are a photographer... This is an ideal spot for a boudouier/shower/ location shoot!!) the skylight over the bed offered natural morning light and the tube lighting in the bath area was exceptional! The staff, including the owners-- Brent & Afni made us feel welcome and like honored guests in their home. We will make the Lakeview Hotel our home-away from home spot in Chelan! As a matter of fact, we loved it so much, we extended our stay by one night!
The parking was a bit difficult but that's no fault of the hotel. They DO have a parking lot about three blocks from the hotel. THe positive part of that is the lot is located very close to the sheriffs office so we felt pretty secure.
The rooms were very comfortable and well appointed. The location was close to restaurants, bars and local attractions.
The owners were lovely and hotel itself was great. There was one waitress down stairs that was completely not helpful, slow and just came across as rude through her lack of enthusiasm to even try to help with anything .
The hotel itself is quaint and well-kept with both a bar and an ice cream parlor downstairs. Bedding, fireplace, jet tub. This does nothing to make up for how horribly we were treated and that there is NO Parking!
There is literally NO PARKING. We parked the motorcycles across the street to check-in (BTW check-in is at the bar) and were told there was a two-hour parking limit. This is NOT on their website!! Evening manager told us to move the bikes to the front of the hotel and they would be safe for the whole weekend. NOT true we got two parking tickets the next morning! The staff literally couldn’t have cared less. When we talk to the manager who told us to park there, he actually laughed. We finally talked to the owner the morning and he was RUDE and also couldn’t have cared less. Refused to compensate for anything. Didn’t even apologize! We stayed in the “skylight room” in which the skylight was literally right over the bed. The window itself has no drapes and no shade so we were up bright and early with the sun (ugh) and because the room overlooked an alley we were kept awake by garbage trucks. Again, the owner/manager couldn’t care less and actually told me that was one of their cheaper rooms so it is to be expected. Even though there is a bar/restaurant downstairs, there is no room service, no coffee service, no breakfast available. Be aware that all rooms are on the second floor, but there is no elevator.
The staff (one of the owners, I think) was a very friendly woman. The room had been decorated very well, tasteful and pretty colors. The location right downtown near everything is certainly handy.
Skylight combined with no curtains on window made it impossible to darken room enough to sleep; light poured in with the sun in the early morning. Air conditioning had been turned off for the season even though it was in the 80s that day, and it was like a furnace. Doorbell sound downstairs went off continually beginning early in the morning, waking us even when we fell asleep for a few minutes. Also, if we had wanted to use the gas fireplace (which luckily we didn't since it was too hot), it didn't work. We couldn't use the lamps on our nightstands by the bed without having two big lights in the entrance of the room go on, and if we turned the lights off we couldn't use the outlets to charge our phones/tablets - so I had to figure out how to unscrew the lightbulbs in the middle of the night when we couldn't sleep. The room was advertised with a "shared balcony", which actually just meant there was a balcony down the end of the hallway for everyone on the floor, not one off of our rooms. And the only view was of the neighbor's backyard projects. For how much I paid, this is a ridiculous list of problems! It was a pretty room to look at, but way overpriced, and I think the owners should try sleeping there in order to see how things do not work for their guests.
This was a $120 room I don't like going to a bar to register I don't like getting called wondering where I am to check in I had A view of a roof
Beautiful , clean room. Very friendly staff. Clean with a homey atmosphere and comfortable.
The 21 stairs to climb to the room and parking was 11/2 blocks away Watch the small step leading to the seating in the restaurant downstairs. My husband tripped twice and I tripped and fell down on our last day.
Food and staff very good
Got the skylight room it gets light very early in summer don't plan on sleeping in in this room other than that very comfortable
Loved how friendly the staff were
Mold all over the shower curtain, used wash cloths were left in the bath tub, we had two spiders in our bed that we had to squish on the sheets so we requested the room to be cleaned. When we got back the bed was just remade with the squashed spiders still on them. Had to request maintenance to come fix AC unit.
Location, the interior the resturante, the atmospher. We are coming back in the fall loved it.
Excellent location and the best room in the hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Hotel restaurant was wonderful with variety in the menu. Everything came together to make the occasion very memorable. Thank you.
We love it here. It's a lodge like romantic setting. It's well-kept and cleanly. It's centrally located right next door to Senor Frogs and the back area has a nice park to lay out and enjoy the sun or the beach.
