Place was perfectly located, near to every single transportation option available. Great Stagg and despite it's a very old building, structure is perfectly conserved and clean.
The lack of a restaurant for breakfast.B
I couldn't really complain as it was great value for money. At times it was noisy outside the building but what do you expect in the centre of a city?!
The staff, cleanliness and character of the room.
Great location Staff were excellent, couldn't be more helpful.
The rooms were dingy, need renovating and looked dirty
Front desk staff
Nothing - except the fact, that San Francisco is extremely expensive in every aspect, but that's just how it is, thanks to the billionares in Silicon Valley...
Great location, downtown and cable cars just outside your door, nice and helpful staff and well working wifi. No breakfast, but there are a lot of nice restaurants in the hood, especially a Italian on top of the first hill on the right side.
A bit noisy ( but it is downtown ) Older room
Thin walls and door!
Like the location and even though the room was small, it was clean and couy and comfortable! Stuff was nice and helpful!
Every thing is bad
This hotel is older but well maintained, which adds to its charm. We brought our dog and the staff was very accommodating. It's walking distance from the Ferry Building and of course Union Square and it's right on the cable car line! We had a very pleasant stay and I found the beds extremely comfortable!
All night there was a lot of noise outside. No bar or restaurant facilities
Close to all transport links, so very easy to get around. Great value for money. Room was small but well equipped.
Noise from the street hard to eliminate because of the window air conditioner
Very friendly & helpful staff. We were upgraded to a suite when we got there so our stay was very comfortable. Close to shopping, cable cars and great restaurants
comfortable room but dark as facing window well, loud fan for fresh air
two newspapers and coffee in the morning
the staff was really friendly and even greeted my dog and I by name...
Rather expensive, but after studying other places, it is about average for what one pays in downtown on a busy weekend.
Easy to walk from the Bart stop on Powell from the Airport. Close to many restaurants and sites
A bit noisy in the evenings but we had ear plugs so we were totally fine.
The location was perfect to discover central San Francisco. The room was small was well decorated.
Concierge and one madam from the reception (daytime shift) were the only people who could actually "work." Whole hotel smells like old dormitory, and no air-condtioning system but just old fan.
Compare to the hotel's facilities, cleaness was fairly in good condition. Location of the hotel is awesome.
No breakfast served.
The price is expensive.
The room is clean and the staff are very helpful.
The first room offered...tiny old and dark - spooky actually
The upgrade to a room with a full size bathroom and living room
Bar Not in Full time use
Friendly and helpful staff rooms clean and tidy
Almost not worth the price or the stars
Rooms were very small. Beds uncomfortable. Tiny bathroom
Friendly staff. Good location. Clean rooms
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our hire car was researched and we booked with the help of the concierge.
Location and helpful pleasant staff, rooms old but clean and well maintained.
