Larkspur Hotel Union Square  

Location, location, location.

No cancellation policy, or was that booking.com?

It is close to the Union Square and the Cable Cars. All the shops and restaurants are close. Wallgreen´s and Starbucks just across the street. Although the room is not big, it is comfortable. The bathroom was big! Free internet in the lobby (computers included) and in the room. I recommend this hotel for sure.

Quiet, great location.

The lobby ammenities were abundant and cozy. I liked the petite bar and fireplace. The staff is always courteous and treats us so respectfully.

My room was totally inadequate. The bathroom is way too small, the beds are uncomfortable, the room badly needs painting, substandard all the way around. If felt the place was just plain dirty.It needs a re-do. No amenities at all that one comes to expect in a hotel that charges >$200/night.

Beautiful. Comfort. Cottage like. Charming. Loved it!

Staff were all extremely friendly especially the bar staff. The room I had was compact but perfectly suited to a solo traveller...would have been tight with 2 people in though. The bar was excellent, friendly service and a decent pizza too.

I had a room round the back so not too noisy however given it's location I imagine the front rooms could be loud also you can hear quite a lot of noise from surrounding rooms.

The location was great. The bed was wonderful, the shower was good and our room was very quiet.

This was an amazing Boutique hotel in a fantastic location! I had to make a last minute reservation and the price and location made my trip. The staff was the friendliest I've ever met.

Nice downstairs area, bar, free-wifi, our room was fairly quiet.

Miss-lead/sold on the size of the rooms, when we booked on booking.com it said the room was spacious and deluxe... Fair from spacious and far from delux, avoid room 505.

Of course the rooms are small and without air conditioning, so I might not stay in summer months. No room service is a bit of a drag. But all in all, if the prices can stay reasonable, I would stay again because the staff was great!

The shower is awesome, the best I ever seen, water presure, height, temperature and water distribution excellent. The queen size bed very comfortable. Room and hotel cleanness superb.

The corridors are narrow and the doors of the rooms make a lot of noise when they close and it may wakes you up. It s a central hotel so there is noise in the street specially the cable train
