When I returned home Friday night early at 8:15 pm, there was no parking at my unit. I had to park at reception and then walk 2 blocks in the dark by myself to get home
Upgraded to a suite
The staff was particularly helpful in various ways.
Great location -walking distance into Santa Fe old town, comfortable stylish apartment. Plenty of space. Free breakfast in the reception area dining room.
Kiva fireplace with wood supply !
Terrible wi-fi! We stayed in the Pueblo complex where the wi-fi was poor to impossible. Only option was to head over to the main desk/breakfast building where wi-fi was fine. Other than this, however, everything exceeded expectations!
We made reservations here last-minute (end of March) for an impulsive, 5-night, warm-weather vacation. Couldn't have been happier! This place is perfectly located for shopping/tourism/eating out in Santa Fe; we barely used our car once we arrived. Also: wonderful, cozy rooms (didn't expect a wood-stocked fireplace or full kitchen!); amazing free breakfast (made-to-order waffles, omelets, cappuccino!); helpful staff (offered up great restaurant advice/reservations--and oven-fresh cookies when we checked in!). Would definitely recommend Las Palomas for art/food-oriented couples like ourselves!
Linoleum floor was a disappointment and the floor was not clean. Property needs some updating.
Good location, nice breakfast and comfortable bed.
I wasn't too impressed by the room itself. We've stayed in different rooms and they were better. The layout was awkward and bed was hard to get in and out of.
We like the property and the staff is great. We've been here before and service is very consistent. Breakfast is great and so was the guitarist that played during the meal.
Great to be able to walk anywhere in Santa Fe. Also loved the wood forbthe Fire.
Everthing! The GM was terrific, even if he was from Stowe!!The breakfast was particularly good and the location terrific!!! We'll be back, and sending friends.
We went for our anniversary and it was exactly what we wanted. The staff was friendly and the place was cozy. We will definitely go back!
TV didn't work - bad reception and Internet was very slow. But I wasn't in Santa Fe to sit around and watch TV and read my emails, so I didn't really mind. It saved me from working on my vacation,
I love the suites and I have been upgraded both times which I really appreciate.
Best costumer service, the staff was so friendly. They greeted our dog with a bag of treats and a rope toy! The bed was large and super comfy, loved the living room, and the breakfast nook in the room.
We loved everything..
I loved how wonderful and kind everyone was.. The rooms were wonderful and extremely comfortable. We will most defiantly be back..
Plenty of room and a great private deck.
The large bathroom needs a bench or something to put toiletries on. The WIFI was VERY slow most of the time and stopped some of the time. The "plastic" slapping noise (on the roof?) was distracting.
The breakfast and breakfast area were Great. The location was convenient.
If you need everything in your hotel to be new and nice, this ain't the place for you -- but if you like everything new and nice, Santa Fe is probably not the place for you either.
Omelets and waffles at breakfast Quiet and atmospheric, very Santa Fe kind of place Staff is great Walking distance to plaza and lots of excellent restaurants Free, fast shuttle to take you other places
Great value for the cost!
I really like that the rooms are all different and most are really "homey". Breakfast was great. Having a fire in the fireplace was great on a cold night.
We had difficulty checking in as my sister had made reservations for us. It was far from a warm welcome. Although we set the thermostat at 70 degrees it only got warm (above 64) when we used the stove. A comfortable chair would have been nice.
Loved the gas fired stove. Nice open bedroom/living room. The adobe buildings and grounds were beautiful.
Wifi a little slow at times.
Great short walk to square and back to back with one of the best restaurants in the city (Bouche Bistro). Great place for people who want close access, free parking, great breakfast/coffee, and an authentic Santa Fe experience within a reasonable cost. I have been coming to Santa Fe since I was a child and I will definitely come back to this place after this last experience.
Been looking for an eclectic inn with high energy staff that makes me welcomed, provides me the few amenities I want, and then let's you be. I highly recommend Las Palomas for those who are tired of the scripted receptionist who really doesn't care if you are there or not. Al welcomes uou and you know he means it. He put us in a bungalow with s wood-burning fireplace and he supplies the wood and matches. A 200-year-old building with its own unique character, and the best breakfast ever right at Las Palomas, we felt as if we could live there. Three blocks from the plaza, We came by Amtrak and once at Las Palomas we walked the entire area even the 2.5 miles to museum hill even though free shuttles are available. A great place to visit and a great place to stay. Al is the sparkplug that makes this place so special because he cares.
Refrigerator set too cold and froze our food.
We were upgraded to a casita Front desk staff very friendly and helpful Great breakfast. Don't be fooled by the term "continental breakfast"--they cooked omelets and waffles to order. Great location: easy walk to the Plaza or RailYard. High quality bed linens
The staff, breakfast omlette, LOCATION, stayed in Nov. Had log fire in room, lovely. Lovely stay. They get it right.
Breakfast was good.
I couldn't have picked a better place to spend my 50th birthday. Service was superb and everyone went out of their way to make us feel special. We got an amazing room upgrade, shuttle service to and from the restaurant we had dinner at, extended check out time and breakfast to die for. Thank you Las Palomas for making my B-day so special. By the way, the staff didn't know it was my b-day, they are just genuinely nice and hospitable.
