Great value for the cost!
I really like that the rooms are all different and most are really "homey". Breakfast was great. Having a fire in the fireplace was great on a cold night.
Loved the gas fired stove. Nice open bedroom/living room. The adobe buildings and grounds were beautiful.
We had difficulty checking in as my sister had made reservations for us. It was far from a warm welcome. Although we set the thermostat at 70 degrees it only got warm (above 64) when we used the stove. A comfortable chair would have been nice.
Great short walk to square and back to back with one of the best restaurants in the city (Bouche Bistro). Great place for people who want close access, free parking, great breakfast/coffee, and an authentic Santa Fe experience within a reasonable cost. I have been coming to Santa Fe since I was a child and I will definitely come back to this place after this last experience.
Wifi a little slow at times.
Been looking for an eclectic inn with high energy staff that makes me welcomed, provides me the few amenities I want, and then let's you be. I highly recommend Las Palomas for those who are tired of the scripted receptionist who really doesn't care if you are there or not. Al welcomes uou and you know he means it. He put us in a bungalow with s wood-burning fireplace and he supplies the wood and matches. A 200-year-old building with its own unique character, and the best breakfast ever right at Las Palomas, we felt as if we could live there. Three blocks from the plaza, We came by Amtrak and once at Las Palomas we walked the entire area even the 2.5 miles to museum hill even though free shuttles are available. A great place to visit and a great place to stay. Al is the sparkplug that makes this place so special because he cares.
We were upgraded to a casita Front desk staff very friendly and helpful Great breakfast. Don't be fooled by the term "continental breakfast"--they cooked omelets and waffles to order. Great location: easy walk to the Plaza or RailYard. High quality bed linens
Refrigerator set too cold and froze our food.
The staff, breakfast omlette, LOCATION, stayed in Nov. Had log fire in room, lovely. Lovely stay. They get it right.
Breakfast was good.
I couldn't have picked a better place to spend my 50th birthday. Service was superb and everyone went out of their way to make us feel special. We got an amazing room upgrade, shuttle service to and from the restaurant we had dinner at, extended check out time and breakfast to die for. Thank you Las Palomas for making my B-day so special. By the way, the staff didn't know it was my b-day, they are just genuinely nice and hospitable.
Perfection in location and charm. We got an upgrade to a casita. Breakfasts were delightful. The staff could not have been lovelier. Masses of wonderful hot water.
Internet was challenging, but that wad a comcast/xfinity issue. But, had I not needed to work a bit, it would have been no horrible peoblem. As it was, I used the lobby terminal.
I loved the fireplace, was expecting it to be gas, but it was real - probably the only time I've ever been encouraged to start a fire in my hotel room! The cottage was beautiful inside, the walls, the floor, the decor, everything was great. The breakfast was delicious and there was a lot of variety. We got in late and there was a system in place for getting into the room on my own.
The shower fixtures were old and could use replacing.
Rooms with living section and kitchenette, good location, good price, parking space available, cosy looking settlement
Breakfast room is chaotic
Location Staff Breakfast Ease; set up well to function easily Felt safe Appreciated extra towels, robes, etc Bed was nice Clean
Pillows too huge and stiff--hurt my neck Bathtub slippery Refrigerator freezes everything; perhaps needs a replacement. A few things seemed dingy
I absolutely LOVED everything about this wonderful facility and I will be back and I will be sharing the review!
Check in times were too late. Need to be earlier
The staff were knowledgeable, very kind and helpful. The gourmet breakfast was made to order absolutely delicious!
When we spoke up about the (lack of) quality of our room the next morning, Tina quickly found us a much better room in Zona Rosa at the same price. When my hubbie and I returned after a long day touring, we entered our new room to find a complimentary bottle of wine, on ice, and some chocolate covered strawberries! Our first night at Las Palomas was barely acceptable; but the problem was addressed and the rest of the visit was wonderful! Delicious breakfast, and both Rebecca and Tina were helpful and knowledgeable.
We were placed in a room that was not representative of what we 'd seen in photos (quality-wise). It had a kitchenette, but there were no pots or pans that we could find (just one lid!) or bowls. The baseboard heaters were falling apart, and the gas-burning stove did not operate.
The hotel is immaculate, the lodgings were absolutely everything we could want - comfortable bed, two TVs, lovely bathroom, little added comforts such as dressing gowns, guide to Santa Fe, etc. We travelled with a dog - not only was that not a problem, but the staff gave us a goody bag for him. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and polite. Breakfast was lovely, with a choice of omelettes, waffles, bagels, etc. and of far better quality than most other places offering continental breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.
Wi-Fi connection a little slow in rooms.
The staff was helpful. Breakfast was good. The bed was extremely comfortable and the whole trip was relaxing.
Staff helpful, courteous, offered afternoon lattes. Lounge and breakfast area pleasant, clean and food verygood.
Room was off property from main building, drapes did not cover windows, so privacy and security questioable.
The location is great, the staff is phenomenal and the breakfast is fabulous. Add in the fun mix of the other guests and it all adds up to a unique experience that we'll come back for.
The wifi works great in the lobby & the dining area, but too frequently there was NO wifi signal in our casita. Not good!
After we got used to the "Alice in Wonderland" feel of our little room, we loved every inch of it. Beautiful courtyards, quiet peaceful location. Extremely quirky but very lovable. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts were of course unbelievable. I'm already missing the place. We will definitely come back.
The room could have been a little more well maintained. The bedside wall lamps were pretty sad- shades were crushed and burned from the light bulb. They were poorly installed and exposed wires were hanging by the bed. The curtain rods were loose and on the verge of falling down. Simple little things that wouldn't cost much or take any real skill to accomplish might make things more pleasant for visitors.
The breakfast was excellent and the wait staff very accommodating. The shuttle service was outstanding providing quick transfers and wonderful restaurant suggestions. Loved the pinion wood provided each evening for a cozy relaxing fire enjoyed at the end of a wonderful day! THANKS !!!

Breakfast and staff were great
Excellent breakfasts included in daily rate (try the back room surrounded by potted plants). Spacious casitas with loads of Santa Fe charm. Ours had living area, dining room table, full kitchen, king size bed. Grounds are romantic at night, given the lighting. Quiet both day and night.
No door on the bedroom, leaving it open to living area. Dangerous step down into bedroom, tough for drunks and old people.
