Latham Hotel

vi blev "uppgraderade" till ett 4-bädds rum (vi hade bokat dubbelrum med extrasäng) vilket var kanon, sedan var läget på hotellet perfekt för oss.

trycket på vattnet i duschen var i lägsta laget samt att det var svårt att få fram varmvatten, sedan var hissen mycket seg men trapporna funkade bra:)

Jag tycker läget var superbra då hotellet ligger centralt vid 5th Ave på Manhattan och i närheten av tunnelbana och busshållplatser. Då ni tidigare redogör för att ni vill veta och att ni vill ha in information och feedback från gästen så borde det finnas möjlighet att skriva precis vad jag vill i någon "Allmännruta" här inne i er gästundersökning.

Jag ringde från mitt rum ner till receptionen och försökte få hjälp med att boka bord på en restaurang men det ville de inte hjälpa till med utan jag hade varit tvungen att gå ner till receptionen så kunde de hjälpa till. Rätt dåligt tycker jag. Annars är jag nöjd med städning och bemötande i övrigt. Jag tycker också att de skulle finnas möjlighet att i den här recensionen få möjlighet att skriva i en "Allmänna åsikter" ruta och att kunna svara "Vet ej" på frågan om t.ex. andras gästrecensioner. Jag har inte en aning om vad andra har skrivit i förhållande till min egen upplevelse.

Läget på Manhattan nära till Subway

Slitet rum lagat med silvertejp,värmesystem som lät, slitna lås på hotellrum o toalett.Massor med ensamma mammor med småbarn hyrde de ut rum till sociala ?

The location, it was central to everything

There was no proper lock on the door and, to be honest, I felt quite scared during my stay. I would not go back- and although the price was lower than others I had looked at, it was still extremely overpriced considering that I did not feel at all safe during my stay.

I liked the situation of the hotel in the middle of Manhattan, it was near the Subway and we did have access to everything we needed. We only spent the nights since we were visiting all day long but it was nice, clean, the room cleaned every day. The bathrooms were shared and it was alright, the're clean too.

It's a old hotel, so we did have one night were the pipes were grumbling for 5 minutes. The main lift is really not enough but the staff is really helpful about it and if you're waiting in the lobby they use the staff lift to get to your room. (I wasn't really in the mood to go by the stairs for ten floors).

It was inexpensive

1 bath room/toilet for 21 room, Elevator dirty, Window face to a close wall, very bad bed noisy, $1 per luggage kept in a corner of the hotel entrance.

Location. The staff recommended good value taxi to take us to Newark Airport.

The room price was too high and didn't include breakfast. After the first night, when I came back home my room wasn't done so I went to the reception desk to make sure they would have cleaned it on the next day. The day after the room was done but my towels were not changed so I had to ask for clean towels too. Also, they provide a quite expensive Internet connection but at the reception desk the clerk didn't know how to start a session to browse the Net.They also charge 1.00 USD to leave the luggage after check-out if you want to leave it at the hotel before departure.

Excellent position, shared bathroom cleaned and almost always available, Cafe 28 (20 meters far) very great and open 24/7

The location was excellent, close from Times Square and other nice places: we were able to move in the city really easily. We liked the Cafe 28, conveniently located next to the hotel, where we took all our breakfasts and some meals! The price was pretty competitive for such a good location in New York and a double bedroom. We really appreciated to have a sink in the room and the room was very clean.

The staff was not really nice: we wanted to pay our 2 nights in cash but did not have all the money when we arrived, so the staff got really angry and explained to us it was really complicated. It was our second stay at Latham Hotel but they were still afraid we would go without paying! So we finally paid with our French credit card, which meant charges and fees for us. The lift is so slow... we were at the 11th floor so we had to wait a really long time. The bathrooms were always occupied, especially during the mornings, so we had to try every bathroom of every floor! The price was a lot more expensive than predicted because of all the added taxes, and we had to pay 1$ /luggage to let our luggage after the check-in.
