Bathroom was small and the bathtub was somewhat old. The faucet was leaky and the shower handle was loose - we informed the hotel staff when we checked out.
Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Room with 2 double beds was a good size. Beds are very comfortable. Love the mirror in the bathroom
I didn't like that the parking is so expensive
The food, the location and the accommodations
The bed. I appreciated all the help I received after a bad fall on a broken sidewalk (around Clark Park).
THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL - OUR ROOM WAS SPOTLESS - THE LOCATION WAS EXCELLENT - CAN'T SAY MUCH MORE BUT WOULD DEFINITELY GO BACK TO THE LATHAM
Parking is always difficult in any major city.
Loved the corner room! I coult sit there for hours and people watch. It was like watching a parade go by.
Limited restaurant facilities, scarce lighting in bedroom, bathroom a little old
Great location, generally helpful staff, hotel car at disposal, comfortable, nice "old" decor,
The rooms are old and small. For the price I expected a better room.
The location and the staff were excellent. It was clean.
Location of property & service from staff
This is our "go to" hotel in the Rittenhouse Square area. Convenient to great shopping & restaurants. Beds are comfortable and the rooms beautiful.
The food was great in the restaraunt and room service. Staff were helpful and efficient. Loved the town car option so we didn't have to battle traffic and find parking.
Interior is somewhat old (IMHO), food at dinner was mediocre
Location, staff, great vine list, breakfast, complimentary fast Wi-Fi and water, car service (thumbs up for the hotel driver - extremely nice person)
None to mention.
The service was 5 star, car service was outstanding, the staff was friendly and accommodating in every way. I have stayed at other Latham Hotels but they truly out do themselves. I am extremely picky and have a hard time sleeping. The only thing missing for me was feather/ down pillows. Trust me they more than made up for it in other areas. I love the art deco design of the furnishings, 2 panel doors, marble bathrooms. Great location, Rittenhouse Square 1 block away. Lukes lobster, Rouge restaurant- not to be missed. To have some quiet time alone great Barnes and Noble a block away. Roman and Joe were extremely friendly! I cant wait to go again!
Toilet dirty that would not flush properly. Front desk said they would send someone to fix it, but never did.
Location was good. Early morning desk man went out of his way to find me a taxi at 6:15 am.
Well on a Sunday afternoon I ordered room service at 6 pm and I was told the kitchen was closed. the water in the shower was Luke warm. I wanted to option to be hot. Items that I didn't purchase showed up in my bill.
Locations is great.
Describing it as a 'boutique hotel' is just a poor excuse for laxness! Understaffed on a busy Saturday , there was only one staff member in the lobby to handle everything, including check in, check out and concierge duty. The restaurant and bar area were simply sad. The floor lamp and the telephone in my room did not work when I checked in and, although repaired quickly, such things should be checked before renting the room. I called ahead to make sure there was a good bathtub for a winter night's soak and yes..there was a bathtub but the no-slip decals were so browned and discolored that the tub could never be used, only the shower. The TV was small and had poor non- digital picture quality that did not even fill the small screen. I am sure any inexpensive chain hotel would have been much better !!
The staff tried hard to make things better but should not have needed to do so!
the bathroom is small but really love the mirror in bathroom.
My friend and us don't know how to drive and it is horrible to get a cab in such a cold weather. but the hotel provide free shuttle in EVERYWHERE in downtown Philadelphia.
room service the administration and accounting services
free car service the view from the room the room quality and furniture
Everything, particularly the room decor and the super comfy bed!
Not so much a bad experience but there wasn't anyone outside when we pulled up to valet so we had to look elsewhere for parking and then had to lug all our stuff back to the hotel a block and a half. That's not so bad BUT it was snowing and we had spent 3 hours in the car for a trip that should have taken 40 minutes. It was stressful and that would have been a wonderful surprise to not have to worry about. The elevators are petite, but that is a personal problem with small spaces.
We didn't stay for too long but the room was lovely and cozy. The staff was wonderful and helpful (we needed an extra blanket for warmth and Walter at the front desk was extremely helpful). Check in and check out was a breeze.
Very comfortable. Cab service available free of charge. It was totally unexpected.
The parking is $40 a night.
Friendly staff, great location, free car service.
