good facilities & location
room could have been cleaner
2nd visit. Great location. Courteous staff. Room very updated and sparkling clean and well furnished.
Best pillows I have ever slept on.
Phone in room did not work.
The towels in the bathroom needed to be replaced. They were thread bare almost.
We liked/loved everything. The look, feel, location & room at the hotel were all excellent. Value for money superb. We had dinner at the restaurant there and we would rate that a 10. Bar services was also up to that standard. Wished we could have stayed longer.
Good location in downtown Philadelphia
Price too high for the small room and the lobby was small and very congested.
Location, wine bar
Breakfast service was poor
Excellent location. Cheapest hotel in central Philly. Walked everywhere. Hotel was very nice, great bed and a nice view. Staff was very friendly.
No exhaust fan in the bathroom which was weird. Could hear people in the hallway as if they were in the room. Super dry heat gave me a stuffy nose and scratchy throat overnight.
Service, courtesy car to train station.
Breakfast not part of the deal
Cozy public areas Location to parade route, dining, museums, home to residents which I visited, shopping The Latham ride One driver, and one wait staffer have been familiar for years
Needed: a freight elevator. The 2 elevators for guests, were used for large, wheeled carts, and there was not adequate sq. footage for such traffic. This explains the elevators interior scars which need to be addressed.
The hotel had a driver meet us at the train. Very helpful!
The price and location where great for what we needed.
The staff at the desk and valet station were excellent-- very helpful in getting us where we needed to be and back again in time to pick up our vehicle.
It's in the middle of a busy area -- convenient for some things, but street noise is audible on the lower floors of the building.
Very comfortable room Close to Rittenhouse Square and nice shopping Easy walk to Suburban Station
Tiny elevators Narrow, low ceilinged hallways Weak water pressure in shower Less than friendly welcome at check-in
Location and comfort
price, relatively small room looking at airshaft
We stayed 3 nights. Location was excellent. We walked everywhere we wanted to go (Reading Terminal Market, Liberty Bell, and Love Park). Staff in hotel was friendly. Restaurant food was good but wait staff was impolite. Room service was quick. Ordered dessert and breakfast. Both were great. Beds were super comfy. Location is busy so be prepared for noise. Car was available but we never used it. Valet was $40 per night but there is no place else to park in the area and we never moved out car.
Late night noise from outside busy streets.
The hotel was very clean, quiet and great location
My shower didn't drain. Although you are offered complimentary coffee and tea in your guestroom through the Kurig my kurig did not heat the water so was getting cold tea. Would have been nice to have a cup of tea in the morning.
Great location and facilities. Would stay again.
Nitpicky, but the water pressure in the shower was a bit disappointing.
Terrific location for going to all the museums. Great shopping & near many of the best restaurants in Philly. Good value too.
lobby area a little small not that conducive to sitting & chatting with friends.
A lovely hotel with excellent service both checking in and out, very comfortable room, and helpful staff. It is in a great location with easy access to anything you need. We would definitely stay there again.
Because it is a small hotel, some of the general areas get crowded at times, but it is unavoidable.
Excellent food, helpful and friendly wait staff.
A little pricey for the amenities.
We have stayed here before and like the low key atmosphere as well as the location. Close to Rittenhouse Square and shopping.
