Lauderdale Beachside Hotel    

This was the dump of all dumps. I understand I got what I paid for, but it was over whelming."The television had no remote, Maids made the bed two of six days, had to ask for towels. The lobby smelled like mold, room key failed to work repeatedly, room door didn't close without physical effort". Too many things to remember. (Just disgusting).

Location to beach and shopping

no tiki bar open when they said it would be. no ice machines working. sorry excuse for breakfast

That the place was on the beach.

Fact no crib,no beach side. Both I had order and have e-mail saing we had. Not true! No refonds ! No shower certon even. So we did not stay after the first night. We went to another nice motel and cheack out of your place as planed,being we would not get any money back. I will never stay at your place, or even tell people I dislike to stay we you.

I absolutely loved my room with the ocean view. I even stayed longer than I planned because it was so nice. The rooms were clean, the staff, even the cleaning people, were awesome.

I liked that the beach was right there. The room we first received was giving us trouble but the staff was great and helped us out.

My friends stayed in the same hotel and when they first got to their rooms they were a mess. The beds were not made, the covers were on the floor. It's not the first impression we wanted. Also when I first got to the room my door wouldn't open. It gave is alot of trouble and made us waste alot of time trying to fix it.

Great location clean room with a view

Safe didn't work, blow drier didn't work, bathroom sink clogged, no ice bucket, got locked inside room twice as door wouldn't open from the inside, key scanner to get into room also gave problems.

The hotel is very old, and it can be seen all araund. The water was driping all the time in the bathtab; Tough, we called for maitenence man.

Lovely position, next to beach, shops and bus stop. Good swimming pool.

Very dated building. Really needs a makeover. Breakfast could start 30mins earlier.

The staff were helpful and courteous the view from the beachside balcony was beautiful

The building and grounds were in a state of disrepair the advertised location and room conditions were not as shown in the pictures, the cleanliness of complex was pitiful overall our stay was not as pleasant as it should have been the only saving gesture was that after being moved to three different rooms the view from the balcony beachside was very nice, I think some sort of compensation to us is warrented

I really enjoyed being beachfont to be able to have easy access to all of the surrounding and local activities at LBS.

it was dirt and the shower had a slow drain there were bug on the nite table the towel were cheap i think if the hotel need a reface on the room it would be the best hotel in town on the beach and it did not have a tiki bar but it was fine for the first time in the hotel love the view thank you i would come again if i have the chance thank you al

Website offers ocean view room, actually was a pool view with a tiny partial sea view, staff didn't do anything to fixed, my second day the room was not clean and new towels were never provided

I have a lot of good opinion about place but my best memories is a great location,right on the beach and close to the grocery store.Very friendly stuff.I will recommend your place to my friends.

Would for sure stay there again. It was worth the money that I paid. Love the fact it was on the beach.

Dirty bathrooms and room, disrepair of many things, towels too thin, internet goes on and off, exterior walks and stairs not clean, poorly lit parking lot, employees not very helpful, dirty breakfast room, lighting problems in room.

Not sure what all the bad reviews were about. The hotel did not smell, it was clean, the staff was nice enough and we got a beautiful beach view on 3rd floor. Its not luxurious, but it's not a dump either. I enjoyed my stay.

They only have basic cable in the rooms. Nine channels, mostly news.

Doors slamming all te time! Hair dryer in 351 has hair in it and hvac stopped working. Staff never answers the phone.

We asked for a beach front or beach side room. We got neither. Not even a balcony. Our view was the parking lot. The room was. Clean, but needs alot of renovation/updating. My husband was in the hotel for 25 years and couldn't believe he condition. Due to a family emergency in Pa., We had to return after the first night. Then, we got charged for 3 nights. Not happy. Would like eimbursed for the 2 nights.

I liked the price, it was close to the grocery store and shopping. The pool was nice.

The housekeeping was terrible. We stayed seven nights and had to ask for towels, a hand towel and wash cloths repeatedly as they were not replaced. The beds were not made every day and pretty sure the sheets were not changed even once in the seven nights we stayed. The floors were never swept, the sink and toilet were not cleaned during our stay, and nothing was tidied up. If the housekeeping were trained properly it would make all the difference in the world. The pool area was very nice, but the women's restroom was out of hand soap the whole stay, even after complaining to management several times and there was no toilet paper all day and had to bring our own. The hotel would be ideal with a major renovation!
