View from balcony was great and we loved the condo. We enjoyed the walks to the parkway and the helpful tips on things to see and do, that we got from the sweet lady in the office. She was very helpful!
Bigger than a normal motel room
Beds could be softer. Would have used a toaster oven if one had been available.
The large bed was very comfortable and the jacuzzi tub made for very relaxing nights. The gas fireplace in the front room was very cozy for when my wife & I curled up to watch TV or a movie.
The kitchen was little more than a hallway with a full-size fridge, a tiny hand sink and two hot plates.
My wife and I have visited Gatlinburg many times, but this was our first stay at Laurel Inn. It won't be the last. The facility is exceptionally clean and comfortable, with staff who went out of their way to make sure our stay was pleasant. It is an older, no-frills property, neither of which is negative for us. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who wants a comfortable stay, within walking distance of the Parkway downtown.
The staff was great, made us feel right at home! The facility is quiet and relaxing.
The wifi kept kicking us out.
This was a nice condo. It had a great view. The beds were a little worn but decent. The Wi Fi was a little slow, but that's not what we came for. The lady at the front desk was very friendly. All in all we were satisfied with our stay.
Staff was very kind and welcoming.
Room was outdated and had a nursing home smell.
Comfort (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms), balcony.
The suites differ in comfort. We were checked in, after hours, to suite 201 (One Bedroom Suite) only to find out a dark dungeon with a collapsed sofa bed. Only next day, after our complaint, we were upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite. The facility is getting old (looks like it was build in the 70's) and it shows. The beds are from that era too, as the mattresses are impossibly soft.
Close to down town. Nice friendly staff that takes care of place. Clean rooms!!
WiFi a little weak.
Love the large bed, and bath!
Lamp switch broken, can opener didn't work. Screen door needs work. Fireplace should be optional not just weather related.
The location is great, within walking distance to the main strip. The unit had a great view of the mountains from the bedroom and it was very clean. The staff even had a Pack and play to bring us when I realized I had forgotten ours. The property facilities looked clean and tidy and it was reasonably priced. The front desk staff was very understanding when I expressed my frustration with the upstairs neighbors' noise
The property is situated on a hill so the walk to the strip was more strenuous than I would have liked. The unit above the one we stayed in had wrought iron furniture, so we could hear the occupants scraping the chairs for several hours at night. It sounded like metal being dragged alone tile.
It was very cozy and clean. Staff was g Condo was cozy and clean. reat when office was open. break a
Kitchen was ok to eat cold breakfast or warm up left overs but not cook in.
Mrs. Linda at the front desk....we could not ask for a more friendly and welcoming person at your front desk.....very helpful....with the area and things to doan places to see...
Fantastic price for such a beautiful place. Great location, I will definitely be coming back!
Room 205 was exceptionally clean. Better than described. Really enjoyed our stay!!
There wasn't anything to complain about, other than the steps to get to the main drag, which in reality wouldn't have been bad if we weren't taking a stroller. Other than that it was perfect for us and our 1 year old! We will definately be back! I think my husband and I will be taking a trip just the two of us in the spring and we will be booking here again :)
Steps kinda stunk, but great exercise! Lol
A good place to stay
Had to go to another place to get ice.
Great hotel, great price, great time. I was blown away. Comfortable and cozy felt like a home away from home. I fell in love and plan on returning for my next get away.
Staff is very nice. Offered to move us. Although dated, it was clean.
Bed was in need of replacement years ago. Several things needed attention or repair.
Overall was good location for the money. Could walk to restaurants & shops on main street of Gatlinburg. Also was a short drive to Roaring Falls Nature Motor Trail and trailheads, and short drive to main Smoky Mtn National Park entrance.
1) Toilet stopped refilling, was not fixed, had to refill with bucket after each use. Hottub faucet leaked but was fixed. 2) Could not access laundry facility without key from staff, who at times left early in the evening. .
The room (509) was clean and the bed was comfy. They spent money in the right places. The location was great as you could walk to Gatlinburg and save parking fees. We will stay here next time we visit.
The condo was very small and what they call a kitchen is not a kitchen to me. It was adequate for our needs, and the price was excellent.
Site was nice, pool was very good, everything worked and was clean. Location was OK, and on the town trolly run - though it was a bout 15 minute walk to the main section of G'burg
WiFi was extremely intermitten!
Great place for a quiet retreat. Short walk to the downtown area. Beautiful view.
That it's close to downtown and smoky mountains. The condo was very nice.
WiFi went in and out but we didn't have much time for WiFi so it was all good! !
This was a beautiful condominium. The staff was wonderful. I would look for availability here first and recommend to others.
