Clean room, comfortable bed lots of room. Loved the hot tub/pool.

The room was beautiful and very clean. Great continental breakfast.

My fiancee and I were letting a couple of friends use our house while they were in town, so we decided to just get a room so they wouldn't have to sleep on our sofas. There is a $200 cash deposit required of locals that isn't announced anywhere on this site or theirs. I didn't bring that kind of cash, and if I wanted a $300 room, I would have stayed on Cannery Row above the beach with room service and all the frills. The manager eventually yielded and used my card as collateral, but still, it was incredibly frustrating. I understand the need for a policy like this, but I don't think it's considerate (or maybe even legal) to charge a fee that you don't advertise, especially after the room is already guaranteed at a set price with all of my information (including local mailing address) provided to them ahead of time.

Clean rooms, nice bathrooms, easy access from the highway, great Internet connection, close to the coast, great value overall.

Crowded breakfast room, maybe the bathroom needs a fan.

No microwave to heat up leftovers etc in the evening. Can't take coffee or rolls to your room for breakfast.

I didn't like the hovering guy in the continental breakfast bar hovering over everything we ate making sure that we didn't take anything out of the area. It's not like the breakfast supplied cost a lot.

Conveniently located and very good value for the price. The room was clean and well equipped with a hair dryer, toiletries, good linens, alarm clock, space to move around. Great temperature control and water pressure. I requested a quiet, first-floor room and they were kind enough to accommodate me. It was just what I needed, no problems, no hassles. Amiable and helpful front desk staff.

Bathroom was a bit cramped and the window in it offered no privacy if open. Firm bed gave good support but was not super comfortable. Decor was very basic motel-like; that's what I paid for, too, so no complaints.

Spacious room, Good place where superamrket like safeway and simliar are very near (about 5mins by car). Gas station is near. Bedding was good. Adequate breakfast. Heater fan is very calm so it did not bother sleeping.

My first stay in the USA and as a irst Motel I found the Laurel Inn very clean comfortable and safe.

Cleanlyness, breakfast, size of accomodation, jacuzz, real sauna, pool. All this for this range of hotel is just amazing. Get some good staff like they have and it is just the place to stop in the neighbiurhood. No doubt! Keep going like this!
