I was a little skeptical to book this place as I'm accustomed to staying in a cabin when I go to the mountains, when I first stepped into this place the thought about cabins went out the door, this place is so beautiful!! Enormous space, I hated that I only booked over the weekend, the next time I stay there I'm planning on staying a week or longer! I was impressed with the oversized garden bathtub with mirrors surrounding it. I was extremely pleased that this place is in the mountains instead of ground area, the view at night and day time was just splendid! I will book this place again and will stay longer!!

good place for vacation
It was spacious and the drive up to the resort was beautiful. The wood burning fireplace was nice as well.
The furniture was in poor condition. It was old and dated. My sister sat in a chair and was cut by a protruding staple in the arm rest. Later I closed the bathroom door and sliced my finger open on a piece of metal that was under the door knob. We did take pictures but the lady working the front desk was not friendly and had informed us would only be available for emergencies by phone call until the next morning. The list for checkout was ridiculous...including opening the blinds to a certain height, cleaning EVERYTHING, and taking the trash out to a dumpster.....somewhere "out there." Checkout instructions also included placing towels and bedding (the sheets ONLY) in the front hallway which lead me to believe the blankets (which weren't even on the beds when we arrived) were not cleaned prior to or after our visit. The beds were uncomfortable and pillows were old and lumpy. Also the entrance to the facility was dangerous and difficult to enter-impossible to turn into the entrance when someone else was waiting to exit. They have placed a mirror on the opposite side of the road so you can see traffic from one direction but it was still scary when exiting and turning to the left as you are in a very sharp curve. We also had a lovely view of the valley, unfortunately it also included old appliances from the resort and a smoking area for employees directly below our balcony. The free Wi Fi, which does say is only accessible from some rooms was available from the parking lot, however was so slow I gave up. With all of the other choices in the area, I will not stay there again.
My fiancée was sick and we were stuck at the ER until 5am on check out morning. I called the front desk and told them what happened and they politely extended our check out time and also put us on their prayer list.
The room was beautiful, along with the view from the balcony. Loved the fireplace and kitchen. Enjoyed the games we borrowed!
It was on top of a long, steep hill and there was snow on the road when we arrived. Almost couldn't make it up the hill and back down the next morning. Didn't receive the room with the correct bed sizes that we booked. My husband and I had to push two twin beds together - not comfortable.
The room was great! Great views!
The matresses were very uncomfortable and the tub was peeling in the small bathroom.
The spacious room the suite had with all the comforts of being away from home. Fireplace was nice also and all the added activities the resort has to offer. Great to keep young and older children occupied. Definitely coming back.
The sofa bed was not comfortable.
The facilities, view, fireplace, amenities, and ease of checking in and out.
paying for the firewood and cleaning the fireplace out. We have stayed in Gatlinburg many times before and firewood has always been a given.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our kitchen was well equipped. Overall our unit was neat, clean and comfortable.
Having to take dirty towels to the laundry room to swap out for clean ones.
The balcony with 2 entrances & view, fireplace if it had been cold, & jacuzzi.
The playground had a dumpster near it where a bear came. My daughter and 4-year-old son at the playground had nowhere to go to get away from the bear because the playground entrance was evidently also on the dumpster side of the playground. God protected them and the bear went away.
Very clean. Nice size spa tub. Full kitchen. Comfortable bed. Nice patio balcony. GREAT SIZE SUITE FOR THE MONEY. VERY SPACIOUS.
Couldn't use two showers at the same time. Balcony view wasn't the best.
Accommodations were extremely spacious and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. View from balcony was beautiful. We stayed 3 nights and it was very peaceful and relaxing. Would definitely return.
