Great location for a quick stopover in Dallas. The room was old but perfectly comfortable. The bathroom had new fixtures and the shower head/ water pressure was great. Everything was clean and staff were lovely.

The Hotel was exactly what I needed, a comfy nights sleep at a cheep rate. The lovely lady at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful. Free wifi for the win!

The lobby did have a funky smell to it, but I wasn't there long enough to let it bother me.

Nice clean room, timely cleaning, use of a conference room, close to Convention Center

Elevator floor needed swept every day, some touch up paint in the lobby would do alot for appearance.

The front desk staff have good customer service and friendly.

Some staff especially at the galley needs improvement. They need to smile and maintain professionalism

Downtown, but there were many others for the same price

There was a homeless man at the 2nd floor buffet that got in the elevator with us. Uber could not find us there. It was dark, dingy and not well manicured. If you were in Europe, they would make this place a gem in Dallas with some upkeep and care.

It's in a good location, very near to DART, and museums.

The place looks like it hasn't been properly cleaned in years. The halls were smelly, the elevator broke, and there didn't seem any attempt to cover any of the graffiti in the elevator.

Excellent location near public transport and Dallas attractions. Good breakfast. Comfortable rooms.

Only one lift for guest use - very slow and was actually not working on my last morning there.

I liked the classic look of the hallways and rooms. They were vintage to the bone. The rooms were small but comfortable. If you are snobby and pick apart hotels based on little cosmetic flaws, and who needs a hotel with room service, meticulously cleaned, and spotless, then this place isn't for you. If you don't mind a vintage room for a great price and awesome location in downtown Dallas, this is the hotel for you. I would stay here again on my next trip to Dallas.

The location of the hotel is great. I love the downtown area.

Their parking garage was closed and they didn't even know this at tge front desk. When I asked where to park, they sent me to an area where I was greeted by a dallas police officer who told me I could not park there. I called the desk to ask where to park next. I was told to "drive around and look." The halls of the hotel were thin dark and musty. (Clean the carpets, guys!) the walks were covered in spots of spackle, unpainted. Trash bags blocked the hallway. My "corner suite" was a small room. Crowded with just 2 people. ( Don't call it a suite, guys, if it isn't!) We left. The room was $126 on Got back on Booked a great huge room at Le Meridian for $20 less!

The welcome was quite warm, the breakfast very good and well organised.

The lamp didn't work, the window was incredibly dirty, the room was quite small for the price.

Location is the best part of staying at this hotel. All the buildings of historic importance in the Dallas downtown are within a walking distance, as is the Union Station. The hotel has an old world charm. After reading the sign "since 1925" (or is it 1930?), when you enter the elevator, you wonder whether the same elevator from the 1925 is still in use! The sound and the way the floor sign lights up whenever the elevator stops remind you of the old movies.

Internet very very slow. Breakfast - limited options. Receptionist "Jose" was rude!

It is an older hotel which makes it unique. We loved it.

There's really nothing we didn't like. It is older so it shows it wear but it was a great place for the money.

The location is fantastic. It is close to public transport, the 6th floor museum and resturants on Market Street. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. There was a great full breakfast each morning and delicious warm cookies baked fresh every afternoon. The hotel is historic and so although the decor in the room was a little bit dated, it was clean and had everything we needed. We would stay here again.
