Dirty shower floor
The shower. Comfortable room. Good TV.
A tad pricey.
No microwave in the room. Limited parking.
A bit noisy
Location was convenient for the purpose of our visit. The front desk staff was outstanding. The hotel was clean and presentable.
No restaurant or bar. Maid service had to be prompted for basics.
Walked to Barclay Center then short subway ride to Brooklyn Hts. and view of Brooklyn Bridge Park. Great view of Manhattan - new Freedom Tower glistened from our room. Front desk helped us order pizza from local place. Husband liked the glass enclosed shower.
The hotel was shabby, the room basic with drafts from the window and we were separated from the loo only by a glass panel. Worst of all was the fact that the roof top restaurant had closed nearly a year earlier so we had to go out in the cold in a rough area to search for food. " breakfast included" was a box with bun and yoghurt pushed through the door without a hot drink. Overall a very unpleasant experience.
the Free breakfast every morning, the little balcony, the heater works well. Flat screen tv and the see through glass shower. The bed was super comfortable and linen smells great and smells new and crisp.
bathroom/toilet was too close to the bed and leaves a little room for privacy.
Manager and staff when you call to reserve give very high rates out of real competitive same offers and does not honor rates advertised in Internet, BAD holding of an extra security deposit, should be reversed right away while guest on premises, will Not return, abusive place, do not recommend.
I didn't realize the hotel lacked a cafeteria even for breakfast. The breakfast option(s) was most disappointing. I didn't ask but would have appreciated learning early that we could order restaurant meals delivered to the hotel.
The staff was great.
Super-convenient to Park Slope. Friendly staff (Amanda was really nice). Nice decor. Continental breakfast brought to you room!
Not a beautiful part of town. Water in the shower was too hot and hard to adjust. If you want lots of bathroom privacy, this won't work for you.
Location, nice clean rooms
the lobby always seemed in disarray
Loved the Hotel...Loved the breakfast in bed!
The street is ugly!
Loved the beds! Staff is very helpful.
Noisy doors, no restaurant
Location, parking, quiet, amenities, cleanliness and neatness, desk service
Cramped, cheap plastic desk chair, no place to comfortably sit and read/relax,room service spotty.
The location The bed
no restaurant or coffee shop. "Breakfast included" meant box with pastries at your door No private bathroom or shower. The room contained glass inclosed partitions for toilet and shower a few feet from the bed. TV was parental controlled and our viewing was restricted. One computer in lobby but the printer was broken.
Clean, very comfy, nice robe.
Noisy heating system, location terrible, putting 250 dollar deposit on my cc wo notice annoying, very thin walls, could hear people next door arguing all morning.
Most everything! Modern, modular furniture was great. Ability to open the deck door and get fresh air.
Parking lot was full when we arrived. However, after thirty minutes we were able to squeeze the car into a space. "Breakfast included" was somewhat misleading: it was a choice of bagel, muffin or croissant, delivered to room during a thirty minute window determined the night before. How did I know when I would wake? Coffee maker in room made one cup of coffee only.
Comfortable cosy room, except for non separate bathroom, though the shower was great! Easy walk to good Park Slope cafes/restaurants Good views of lower Manhattan skyline. Very helpful staff.
bathroom not private enough! no public space to sit in Hotels seems to be in no-man's land
the bed is of superior quality the HDTV surreal
too, much blue everywhere. Ice delivered to the room. Shower/toilet area are glassed in but still in the room. A misplaced love motel form Shibuya TYO. Over priced
Hotel was nice.
Bed was to deep. No dining room.
I liked the place its was located perfectly for my visit to Brooklyn. I loved the fact 5th was a short walk with some great food, bars and coffee shops. Its a nice hotel in an odd location. Its clean with a kicking sound system in the room. Its not the Ritz but its not the flea pit and the prices are reasonable so be patient enjoy it for what it is and explore Brooklyn as I did. I will be going back to Le Bleu :)
The breakfast setup is weird have to tick the menu in advance to delivered to the room. I could have done with a few more coffee pouches in the room but these are small insignificant things in the grand scheme of things.
Contemporary interior (re)design of the rooms with cool white fixtures and funky blue lights. Cleanliness, comfortable beds, helpful and friendly staff. Proximity (a few blocks) to Park Slope neighbourhood. Transport connections quite easy with cab depot next door as well as subway stations down the street. I also appreciated being able to browse the photograph, coffee-table format books about Brooklyn and New York plus the magazines provided in the room.
No dislikes. I would have preferred the option of eating breakfast in an alternative communal area, however basic, rather than in the room. But I understand that the breakfast-in-a-box, plus takeaway cardboard cups provided for the Starbucks coffee would be very practical for commuters or guest eager to get out and about rapidly or picnic outside.
Up to date bathroom fixtures, pleasant staff, wonderful continental breakfast in the room, clean and modern room.
No complaints at all.
