In a renovated building with a lobby featuring a glass ceiling, the Courtyard is 2 blocks from the New Orleans Convention Center. It includes a heated outdoor pool, a hot tub and a well-equipped gym.
Score from 145 reviews Very good
This historic New Orleans hotel was built in a refurbished bank and still features some of the original vault doors. It is less than a 15-minute walk from the French Quarter.
Score from 95 reviews Very good
Overlooking the Mississippi River and within walking distance to many of the most famous attractions in New Orleans, this hotel features first-class amenities along with spacious accommodations.
Score from 279 reviews Good
Great location, you can walk to the French quarter( it's a fair walk though) or catch the tram. Great staff, nearby parking.
Location Front desk staff
Size of Room Housekeeping staff
The service was excellent. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was relaxing and comfortable with ample space in the bathroom. The hotel is located near the tram stop and a number of museums are easily accessible. I had a really pleasant stay and would stay there again when I am in New Orleans.
Cleanliness was my biggest issue with my stay. Repeated received dirty stained bathroom towels from housekeeping, food toenail clippings on the floor from previous guests, and my co-worker received stained bedsheets. Unacceptable for the room rates they charged us - $349/night!
no vending machines, no ice machines, parking excessively expensive; staff not friendly; had to ask repeatedly for coffee and extra towels; housekeeping didnt come on at least 2 of the days that we requested it. location to attractions poor
the staff was extremely nice extremely helpful! Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay
everything was perfect
convenient. staff helpful.
double room small. no comfy chair
Cleanliness of Hotel and Room Level of service (speed) at check-in Top rated food-menu just a few steps from elevator.
Wish the bed (Queen) was more firm. Valet parking at half the $30 charge (we chose to park 2 blocks away for $10 and walk)
Location, staff and dining
room size and amenities
Hotel was quiet
The bathroom sink was small and made it impossible to use. The staff didn't change the linens or clean even after I asked them too. I won't be using this hotel for my next trip
Super friendly staff Excellent location for business at convention center Great value
WiFi was very bad and corner rooms on the floors don't pick it up Cleanliness could have been better Cleaning staff forgot certain basic amenities sometimes (toilet paper, towels, etc.) and had to be called back
The bed slept ok, the maintenance guy was very prompt, valet was great, staff was helpful (Richard).
The room was too small it felt like a collage dorm,
Location was great
Staff didn't make me feel wanted or good enough to be there. Honestly wouldn't go back because of the front desk and how snooty and not helpful they were, horrible first impression and guest service.
I like the atmosphere and style of the hotel. The personal Kureg in the room was a great touch!
When we arrived there was no one there to direct us to the front desk, that was alittle confusing since there was no staff to be seen, but no that big of a deal.
Confortable, clean, plenty of amenities, location not too bad. The Staff were very helpful and even went out of the way to help in a couple of instances. We would stay here again!
It was a 15 min. walk to the French Quarter, which isn't bad, but after a few days was tiring (especially in the 95 degree heat). Otherwise nothing bad at all!
Location and service was great. Very clean rooms and felt like I was in a comfortable environment.
Hotel self parking was two blocks from the hotel. Could not get my room temperature to feel cold, only cool..and could not take air-conditioning off auto.
The bathroom was very nice with lots of room. The beds were quit comfortable.
I was very disappointed in the air controls. They would shut off when you were not moving around! I woke up sweating both nights. For that reason alone I will not return
How small the room was.
Clean room, comfortable bed.
The beds were very comfortable. Very easy access to the trolley.
There is no one available at the front desk 24 hours/day. There was a refrigerator in the room, but no microwave. No swimming pool. Cleaning room staff cleaned room said they would bring back face towels.....never did.
It's just far enough from the noise and chaos of bourbon street/downtown area to sleep at night without hearing it all. But close enough that leisurely walk puts you right in the thick of everything. My husband and I fell in love with the restaurant and lounge. So convenient and the food was awesome. I lost my engagement ring on this trip and the staff was very supportive and more than helpful. (Not at the hotel itself.) Also we were too early for check in, so they valeted our vehicle and held our bags so we could enjoy the day without having to park elsewhere or lug around baggage. This was our first time here as normally we stay closer in to the quarter. We will be back. Highly recommend.
That we had to leave!
The doorman was Excellent!
Staff was never at the front desk. I left my room at 7 a.m. one morning and it still was not visited by housekeeping until after 6 p.m. I had to wait 30 minutes after an exhausting day for my room to be cleaned.
The beds were comfortable. Miss Scarlett was star attraction.
Location is a bit away from main attractions. The food wasnt to our taste. The rooms could have been cleaner. We had dust on the bathroom floor when we arrived and it was still there when we left 3 days later.
The price is spot on for what you get. I liked the fittingly modern decor and appreciated that the friendly staff met all of my requests.
My only complaint is a small one: the toiletries are "built in." So A) you don't get to bring home any bottles of the yummy C. O. Bigelow shampoo and body wash, and B) it felt super weird knowing another naked stranger had used the very same hand pumps, probably even that same day. Just...weird.
