Score from 154 reviews Wonderful
Staff were helpful. Hotel near central Williamsburg restaurants and bars. Good breakfast spread.
Room overlooked interstate 278 highway. Noisy most of the day and night. If I stay again I would want a room facing another direction.
My wife and I stayed here while visiting our daughter who lives three blocks away. We selected the hotel because of it's convenient location and price value. The staff was wonderful. Ruby, Anli and Hellen were very professional, welcoming and kind. The rooms were very clean, nicely appointed and quite comfortable. The free breakfast was very nicely displayed offering a good variety of options. The multi grain bread was fantastic! The hotel offers secure off street parking and has very easy access to the BQE and public transportation. There are also some great restaurants within, very safe, walking distance. Brooklyn is new to us, but it is becoming a new fave real fast. Manhattan is only fifteen minutes away for all the glitz and you can return to a relaxed low profile neighborhood and avoid the chronic noise and hassle. Do not miss the Hotel Le Jolie, the delightful staff and accommodations.
Beds are very good! And the place. Reception service was excellent
Breakfast is not good, as in most of the US hotels.
The staff at the front desk are very welcoming. The host in the breakfast room is very gracious. We have stayed at Le Jolie a number of times over the last few years and have always had a very good experience.
super easy to get to Manhattan via subway, good breakfast, friendly staff, walking distance to Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg Brooklyn. Much cheaper than the equivalent hotel in Manhattan.
WIFI was unreliable
Small, cozy, French feel to rooms, nicely accommodated, clean. Staff very helpful.
Bed was comfortable
Room had inadequate heating that was not fixed despite two complaints. The breakfast room is cramped and sometimes there are not enough tables for all guests. Was talked into upgrading room to "city view" which was a joke! Tiny bit of skyline over closer view of garbage cans in alley.
Small hotel with very accommodating staff. Breakfast was pretty good.
A bit on the high priced side but when you consider free wi-fi and breakfast, a pretty good deal.
Hotel Jolie might not look like much from the outside, but inside it is very clean, quiet and the staff are extremely welcoming. I'd heard Brooklyn hotels were expensive, but this was an absolute bargain and very high quality. I think it's quite new. Really loved it and will definitely book there again when next in Brooklyn.
The hotel was perfect for what we where looking for - whilst staying in Brooklyn we wanted somewhere close to everything that was also a decent place. The hotel was excellent value for money and perfect for what we needed - 10mins walk to bedford avenue which is main part of Williamsburg with all bars and restaurants and shops and 5 mins walk to the L line subway into Manhattan. Breakfast was good and the lady who served Helen was lovely. Rooms where clean and fresh towels and water provided every day. The reception staff where so helpful, recommending places to eat and drink and given directions etc. If I was to stay in Brooklyn again I would deff re visit here - the hotel being nice and such a great location really made our holiday.
Room was compact but well thought through. All very comfortable and surprisingly quiet. The shower was fab! Great to have an iphone docking station next to the bed. Breakfast room tiny but excellent and clean. Staff v. helpful and friendly.
Not much, actually. The outside belies the comfort inside. Don't be put off by this!
Good location. Very quiet. Good value for money.
Room and bathroom would have been very tight for 2 people. If traveling with my spouse, I would probably chose to stay elsewhere. Adequate breakfast but suggest they also offer toast in addition to bagels and pastries. Would have liked a coffee maker in the room.
Staff is so friendly - you feel welcome immediately. Breakfast is simple but incredibly fresh- not your typical chain continental breakfast. Breads and Pastries from a local bakery - very nice touch. Rooms are fresh and clean. In spite of being located next to the BQE there was little noise and did not affect sleep at all.
No complaints - great value for the rates and location.
Easy booking. Clean room. Perfect for quick overnight.
Breakfast not greatest. But so many great places around.
Everything except the wifi!
Staff were professional and helpful. Free bottles of water everyday in fridge. Close to subway.
Breakfast lobby far too small to accommodate number of guests and basic bread and bagels. Coffee and juice ok. Be aware hotel is right next to an express way.
Nice bed with cumfortable mattress
Dead neighbourhood A bit overpriced Bathroom with broken taps
Bed and staff.
Too expensive for location. Small rooms like cheap Euro hotel. Terrible surroundings. Next time I will pay to stay in Manhattan.
Staff excellent, location Central, although unattractive for a tourist.
Wi fi overloaded and did not work at all during the late afternoon and evening. Wifi was critical for me, so I had to leave after one day and book elsewhere. Staff were not all that knowledgable about restaurant options nearby. Continental breakfast adequate, although I personally hate eating off paper plates with plastic cutlery.
Rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was awful, cereal, boiled egg, very basic.
Right behimd a highway, not a tourist area at all. Rooms very small.
Everything was great within the hotel, it was updated and very comfortable. Loved the pillows!! The staff were very kind, friendly, and so helpful.Staying here again with colleagues this week!
The location is close to things, but because of construction and the changing neighborhood... not really easy to just walk out the door and find a lot to do or places to eat as a solo traveler.
My daughter is a student at Parsons in Manhattwn, renting an apartment in Brooklyn. The location is perfect for me since it's just three blocks from the "L" train that takes me from where her apartment is located and back into Manhattan. The hotel was very comfortable, the staff was courtious and helpful and, again the hotel's location was perfect. Thanks
The only thing I found slightly negative was that the room, (408) was pretty cramped but that was the size room I paid for and I'm sure there are other larger units..
Better continental breakfast than others Comfortable bed Great A/C No noise from street Great front desk...very helpful Conveniently located to Williamsburg
Rooms were super small
