I had a room close to the elevators and it was so noisy that I had to sleep with ear plugs

The pillows were fantastic! Room was clean and the staff was great at accomodating our early check in and request for high floor. Staff was very professional.

I reported to the front desk that my bathroom light didnt work, but it was never fixed. So we didnt have a bathroom light while we were there at all.

Our hvac unit (room 510, by the way) needs some maintenance. It makes a lot of noise when it's on. I've heard worse, but it does affect sleep. We've stayed with you several times. We now ask to have the junk food display removed from our room. Why? (A) it's tacky; does not represent you well; (b) it promotes poor nutrition. In our opinion, you should rethink this idea. I suppose you make some money this way, but it's tainted money. Would also have liked an iPod port.

The hotel has a great central location, you can walk to anywhere in Boston, or there is a T stop just a few minutes away. Good restaurants and bars within walking distance as well. Friendly front desk staff, service staff are quick to respond to requests. Room was clean, well updated and comfortable.

Parking is quite expensive, especially as it racks up over a period of 3 nights. Would be nice to have a pool in the hotel.

A conveniently located (the Central Square subway station is only 3 blocks away, but the hotel is usually free from street noise), reliable hotel with high quality basic services. Furnishings are new and in good repair. Internet is free and fast. The large supermarket in the same building is a great convenience as is the in-building rental car location.

Passthrough doors between rooms are poorly soundproofed, which can lead to noise problems. Sinks don't drain well. In-room fridges are full of mini-bar items, with no room for your own food/drinks (though a loaner fridge is available from the front desk on a first come-first-served basis). Insufficient electrical outlets make plugging in computers and phone chargers a pain, especially by the bed(s). Parking is expensive.

The staff was great upon arrival.

Location is excellent. Service is very reliable. Food is adequate. Parking was very convenient, important in Cambridge.

Breakfast was fair. The hotel is very expensive, and does vary its pricing day to day. It is important to keep track of the pricing. The parking is also expensive, and is not controlled by the hotel.

Good breakfast. Room was big, clean and as specified during the booking. Very good location: walking distance to Boston, bus stop next block, tube stop two blocks down! Location is good as you can drive in and out of Cambridge without hitting the Boston traffic.

Vallet parking was expensive for registered customers. 32$ per night should have a bundle / offer option for people staying in the hotel.

I had a bowl of cereal with yougurt and coffee. My wife had a glass of yougurt with fruit and coffee. Price was $29.00 with tip. Excessive cost and we were in lock up because of the Bombing incident and could not leave the hotel.

On friday Apr. 19, the day of the manhunt in Boston, we blocked in the hotel all the day upon request by the authorities. The hotel offered a special dinner buffet named "Stay Strong Buffet" at an affordable price. Cool.

Staff was exceptionally helpful and should be commended for their wonderful service and friendly demenour.

My initial SPG reservation was messed up by someone allowing another SPG member change my reservation without my consent. I'm not sure if part of that was the actual hotel or not but it soured my initial feeling about the hotel. Your staff made up exceptionally for the experience.

Super-comfortable bed, fantastic shower, lucky to find on street parking, my room was upgraded at no charge when original room not ready in time.

A little pricey, expensive valet parking, the restaurant was a little understaffed, and the menu had "avocado" listed as available, but when I ordered it, I received unappetizingly unfresh guacamole (amateur mistake).

There are connecting doors to the next door room which have zero soundproofing. As a result I was kept awake by the people in the room next to me talking until 3 A.M. When I complained the receptionist said this was the most frequent complaint the hotel receives and he has been asking his management to do something about it for years. My room was changed, which I appreciated.

Rooms are very clean and cosy. Quiet. Walk distance for many facilities.

Very Clean and Friendly. The front desk was helpful and happy. The parking was a good price $28.00 for self park and $3500 for valet, who by the way were extremely nice.

Nothing great, lack to details, for example only one bathrobe in the room instead of two... Yes we can call housekeeping to get the other one...

Furnishings in the room

Lack of sound proof between my room and my neighbors who were speaking loudly at 3AM!!!! I called security and they handled it well.

- very inconvenient parking - the person at the hotel reception gave us an incorrect parking card, we spent half hour at the parking exit waiting for the staff , the office was empty (no one on site ).
