Everyone from desk clerk to doorman to concierge was warm and competent. My stay at Le Meridian, Philadelphia, was among my best travel experience.
Pay very expensive parking.
Everything was perfect, excellent location, walking distance to main sightseeings, very nice hotel, great breakfast, nice staff, very comfortable bed. Will definitely come back!
This hotel is beautiful and sleek. It is clean and nicely appointed. The hotel concierge is friendly and helpful. They make you feel very special here, that's for sure!
You need to pay for wifi which is a little frustrating since most hotels are now offering this as a free amenity. Also, the valet parking bellman were a bit disorganized as each one asked us which # was on our "ticket" while they went to find the car (some asked us more than once... leading to a total of 5 times). As a result, it took about 20-25 minutes to find our car.
staff was so helpful .consierge really gave us good advice. restaurant had a superb breakfast..food was delicious and presentation above expectations. bell staff couldn't do enough for us.
there was no comfortable chair to sit on in the room. very modern, deep and uncomfortable chair. ended up sitting on the bed. other then that the room was lovely
Great location and beautiful hotel. Valet employees were excellent.
The service and amenities were well below standard for the price. Not a good value. One of the front desk employees could not even suggest a nearby pharmacy (nor was he willing to ask around; fortunately another employee overheard and helped us out). Despite paying for breakfast with our reservation, the hotel tried to only allow 2 of our party of 3 to be included in the breakfast. Booking.com intervened and resolved the problem but at the price we paid should the hotel be penny pinching over $18? We arrived early and they put our bags in storage until the room was ready- it took an hour and 4 phone calls to try and get our bags. When this was unsuccessful, we went into the storage room and found our own bags. They were clearly marked with our name and claim number; I don't know how they missed them!
stylish interior, friendly staff, superior location at the downtown
bellman offered me to order a taxi, I told him where I go, what time I need to leave, name to put on this reservation... nothing happened at the time designated ) another bellboy had to ran across the street and catch taxi for me )))
For the price, it is almost too good to be true. For parking in general to be included there is an amazing savings. The lovely girl working the desk was so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was amazing. No complaints from us!
No free wifi. Parking ...supposed to be free but I had to pay. Felt cheated.
We used Le Meridien as a jumping off point for jaunts around the city. Plenty of shopping, restaurants and historical sites within a short walk. Hotel also provided a mini fridge for our leftovers.
Not much. Shower drain got slow at the end of our 3 night visit. Room service food was low quality. Took a few hours to get the mini fridge to the room. Other than that, no complaints. Staff was superb.
Very attentive and courteous staff, beautiful building and accommodations. Nice restaurant and bar in the hotel.
Price was a bargain on short notice. Central location with easy access to downtown facilities.
Toilet was not cleaned and had the previous occupant(s) excrement and urine droplets - which they cleaned immediately on notification. Expensive parking. "Free wifi" limited to 2 devices.
When we arrived the hotel at 8:30pm, we were told the room was not ready. They ask us the credit card for pre-registration , we would offer our room in twenty munites. After two twenty munites at 9:20pm, we were still told that we needed waiting another 35 munites. We call the booking .com to complaint about the situation. We only got an apology and also we were told thar our. Credit card was charged for the room even we never saw our room. We were very frustrated , angery and left with helpless after 10pm. I think the hotel management was extremely poor and the front desk staffs were not honest people. We felt cheated.
Location, value, staff, comfort
Proximity to convention center Across from historic city hall Nice lobby with morning coffee Front desk moved us to 10th floor after first night. Friendly staff.
9th floor "Executive" king room was very small, had obstructed window with only partial view, worn shower floor, stain on carpet, peeling wallpaper, etc. All rooms have very tiny closet space and only 2 small drawers which makes it difficult for 2 people staying for a week. Front entry is up several steps. Be prepared to tip staff for hauling bags in and out.
Excellent friendly staff .... Even at 3 am when I needed something to eat! Room quiet and comfy. No complaints. Great location
Service is excellent . Love the hotel!
Loved the hotel. Modern, sleek decoration. Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location if you want to walk around. Especially if you want to drop by Reading Terminal market for lunch, or a lovely walk towards the Rodin museum.
I love to take bubble baths. I didn't read ahead of time that the rooms (or at least some rooms) had showers but not baths. However, it is in an old YMCA so I can imagine they couldn't convert the rooms to include baths.
We liked the location, beautiful lobby, and the cozy room.We were on the 6th floor overlooking the indoor courtyard, which was lovely.Complete silence, total darkness, very comfortable bed = deep sleep. They provide valet parking for $40 a day, which is pricey, but we were only there for 1 night.
The location, the space of the room, the bed.
The inefficiency of some staffs. The hotel lost the reservation. The staff kept asking whether I reserved it under different name etc, even though I brought proof of reservation which I made a month earlier. She even tried to explain that the lost of reservation due to downed system that the hotel experienced couple days ago?!! And when finally she assigned the room, the rate was higher than when I booked through booking.com. She adjusted it though, but what a hassle.... The housekeeping didn't provide a trash can in the bathroom thoroughout our stays nor provided coffee cups.
Great location, very quiet rooms (ask one in the Atrium), comfortable beds, clean rooms. Great value if you bring your alarm clock with you!
The wakeup call we requested did not come. It was duly noted though. We did not miss the train because as a precaution we armed the alarm clock. On one of the 4 days of our stay the room was still not made at 5 PM.
This was by far the best hotel my wife and I have ever stayed at and we have been to many hotels in all the trips we have taken.
Location, facilities and staff attention.
Not much at all.
The staff was exceptional
The bathroom wasn't as clean as I would have expected
