There's nothing that I dislike!
The location and the service was excellent.
The pool area was massively disappointing as was the complicated nature of trying to have a drink up there! It is much smaller than it appears in the photographs and there is no nearby bar from which to get a drink in the evening - drinks are available in the ground floor bar and will be brought up to the roof at a charge of $10 per drink. Such a shame as it could be so nice up there, especially at sunrise.
Big spacious rooms with a nice view and comfortable bed. Good wifi connections and very friendly, helpful staff.
That I couldn't stay for longer
Everything about the place was great. No complaints over here!
A bit pricey
Close to all. Space and layout is great. Pool views are cool. Staff are very helpful.
The rooftop pool; used to be much nicer?? what happened?? no hot tub and looked unattractive.
My concierge was great
That it was tucked away in a residential neighbourhood but with some great restaurants on either side. Great proximity to the bars in West Hollywood and the designer side.
The hotel is a little bit old.
Very quiet location. Nice and helpful staff. Good facilities.
Fireplace did not work and could not be fixed.
Great location, good view, large room, rooftop pool area.
hotel was actually old but renovated in a proper way. Rooms were fine but when over looking into the hall it was quite old. location was itself (w Hollywood) was great.
beds were quite good and room size as well. Liked the fire place and the 42" flatscreen.
The pool was a bit small
The room is great, everything was greate
Having to ask for even basic kitchen cutlery & dishes. Lack of care for outside appearance (lots of trash).
Large suites in a quiet neighborhood. Terrific front desk staff!
The elevator and certain place in the hotel are old , the pool is not very nice .
Hotel situated in west Hollywood , you can do many things by walking . Rooms are nice . The staff very helpful
The staff were fantastic. I had booked a tour through the front desk, and the morning of my partner was up sick all night. I called the front desk to see if they could call the company and cancel. Not only did they do that, they also asked if we would like them to bring some drinks up to keep his fluids up. Extremely nice of them.
Reception staff are not informed on how to get around the area to see the sights and did not have information re bus / train details. Did not have useful map of the area or Hollywood sites. Hotel corridors and rooms had strong smell of cleaning chemicals.
Clean and comfortable.
Have to pay for wifi in your room? What, it's not 2003! Expensive food and movies
Good lobby Nice patio Good enough gym Great location near beach shops, pier and restaurants Friendly and helpful staff
Unfortunately the rooftop pool (which was the only reason for us to book this hotel) was closed due to renovation and the hotel and/or booking.com failed to give notice about this.
The staff was friendly and understanding when we cancelled our booking 10 min. after arrival due to the closed rooftop pool.
The parking is $38/night which is overpriced for the area. The parking is valet system but it is not staff 24/7, you have to search and try to find someone in the lobby to manage your car which makes the parking a pretty uncomfortable experience. The shower is also and at it's warmest degree is still not enough warm. There is a mini bar in the room but it is FULL with the hotel's already put overpriced bottles and there is no space for anything. Also since 8am a hotel personnel is walking around the floor hall to check by knocking-and-yelling if anyone wants mini bar refreshments.
Noisy guests in rooms above us or around us made for disturbed sleep at night and early morning. We chose not to notify the front desk, thinking it would soon quiet down. The pool area is closed for renovations. As the pool is prominently displayed in all advertising, guests should check ahead if they are counting on it.
The staff members in all positions were friendly, helpful and professional. In the infrequent times we sought assistance, we were accommodated graciously. We were there throughout Christmas week.
Fire alarm going off for two hours one evening. Feel all the guests should get a room night comped for the future. They did give us a credit for parking.
Location, discreet staff, comfort, food size of suite
Was not informed of valet parking fees even when I emailed before hand to inquire... $38/day
Size of the room
Hotel corridors were been renovated but the reception kindly informed about this when checkin in and it did not disturb me as it was only in the corridors.
I really liked the peaceful location which was still very close to all the West Hollywood restaurants and attractions. The valet service was quick and seamless. Bed was very comfortable and the room was really spacey.
Noise and the balcony had no view but I guess we didn't ask for one? Kinda smelly too.
My friend and I stayed for 2 nights and was a nice stay. Loved the funky room. But we were on the 2nd or 3rd floor and the upstairs were soooo noisy from like 8am until we checked out at 11am. That was disappointing. But over all not bad. Loved the location, close to the sunset strip!! Would stay again!
The room had no dresser or drawers to put things in, the feeling was old and in need of a refresher.
Very nice staff, willing to help and very personable
