rooftop pool / lounge location nice staff
rooms are just average rooftop pool is too crowded by non hotel guests food is uninspired and tasteless
the spacious room with sylish decoration
Everything was as great as you'd expect
Staff Eclectic decor Eclectic guests Location THE ROOFTOP ROCKS!!!!!!
Had some noise 2 out of the 3 nights but staff handled it wonderfully
This is a wonderful hotel. Ideal location, fabulous staff, the decor is Boho chic with a "we just knocked this together cause we were feeling creative" stylish amateurism, the food is excellent you can have your egg white omelette for breakfast but I preferred the calorie heavy french toast with bacon and sausage. This is the kind of hotel you want to move into for the rest of time. The roof top pool...just fabulous. Enjoy!
Restaurant Area terras on the roof is Beautifull!
Gym Could use some dumbbells and more space.
Lack of window view
Comfortable beds Rooftop pool/bar Quirky design Large rooms
Ran out of Bloody Mary ingredients .. Sometimes the pool bar was so busy, no lounges available
The rooftop terrace at night was pretty.
The hotel felt like on old Holiday Inn made to look french. Way over priced for what it is. Checked out and went to the Beverly Hills Hotel for not that much more money and it was worlds apart to too close in price range.
The location is great, the staff is kind and helpful. Valet are under appreciated, so my extra ++ for them! Nice to stay at the rooftop pool and relax. The atmosphere overall is great
The smell of the room...it's really horrible. as soon as we opened the balcony door, it became bearable and we left it open at night for fresh air. The interior is outdated, the beds are anything but comfortable.
The position is ok.
I'm not used to give bad reviews (check my profile), but now I have to. The prices of the rooms seem ok...Until you discover the CRAZY prices for each extra. And with "extra" I don't mean Dom Perignon, but normal things as buffet breakfast, a couple of beer and the parking. When you get there, they don't tell you that the parking is 34$ per nigh. When I complained, they said that "it was written in the sheet that I signed at the checkin" (no comment!). The breakfast, which is nothing special, (just the usual things: bread, brioches, fruit, yogurt and so on) is 22$ per person, but it became 35$ because "the fresh orange juice" is not included!!!!!! Me and my girlfriend had 2 beers and a dish of cheese at the pool...Total 60$, which include also the 10$ service because they bring the stuff to the pool, and if you try to get them yourself, they will say "no problem sir, relax by the pool, we will come to you". But they don't say that you have to pay even for this. I had 1 50 cl bottle of still water in the room and I paid 8$. They don't tell you that they charge also a big tax - don't know which tax we're talking about - for each night (more than 30$). And I'm not talking about the 10% VAT, which is also not included in the Booking.com price. In the end, a normal double room for 2 nights, with 2 nights parking, 4 breakfast, 2 beers, 1 cheese dish and 1 bottle of water: 750$ !!!!!!!!!!!!!! And let's talk about the place. Immediately at the entrance you realize that the place is not good as in the pictures. Horrible forniture, dirty room with old moquette on the floor, very bad taste objects everywhere. You can definitely get better places with those money in LA.
Long list and I don't have time explain , maybe later but overall so disappointed
Location is good, though in LA is difficult to say which location is good. This one is very close to Sunset blvd; to Hollywood you drive approx. 10 min with the car; to the beach it takes 20-25 min drive. Hotel itself has very good and unusual design, good clean rooms. No noise. Good breakfast on the hotel roof. Swimming pool is located also on the roof. Overall we found this hotel very ronantic :)
Prices: in the menu of the restaurant and parking is overprised, but please consider that this is LA.
Location. Quirky details that make the hotel dazzle amongst more corporate options. Fantastic rooftop garden dining and gorgeous intimate pool for wonderful evening drinks and as many poolside hours as you can spare.
The service in the room was pretty slow and some of the front desk staff were not very helpful or solution oriented. They could not provide stamps for postcards or plasters for a guest's injury.
Cool, trendy, fun, amazing rooftop pool and dining!
room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke...and other sweeter smoke smells...not sure if it was residual or neighbours. Coffee/tea availability in the room would have been great.
The attention to details and especially the breakfast area was lovely. The garden created for this purpose felt as though you were transported to Europe…
The room we had 411 was next to the breakfast/beverage/ and entrance to the pool area. VERY NOISY. Even at 4am we were unable to sleep. Someone also opened our door late at night. No idea how they were able to open it as apparently keys are not opening other doors. We reported it to reception, but apart from a "Thats not good-sorry for that" nothing was done. Also by the pool there was smoking and not just the average cigarette !!!. No one said anything to this group of 8 as they had booked a "cabana" for $250 and they were more important than the guests staying in the hotel… VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE!
Fantastic location, facilities and staff
Staff vert helpful
Needed rental car, staff contacted the car companies petit dealt with, they were very expensive. Quoted three times the price of alamo car hire.
nice spacious room amazing rooftop terrace great smelling bathroom amenities good food
if you do not have a car maybe not the most central located hotel..
We loved the uniqueness of the place which Is just what I was looking for. I look forward to returning.
I accidentally left some items in the room when we checked out and I didn't realize it until we got home. The hotel had my email address and phone number but didn't try either one. I called the next day and was released to hear they had my property. The girl on the phone said feel free to come pick up your stuff ( I live about four hours away) so that wouldn't be possible. I asked if they could send it in the mail and was told no but I could have a mail service do it. So I was kinda disappointed that they were not more helpful nor had they tried to contact me
Staff was great but besides that it was just eh.
Fooood sucks! Valet is ridiculous in price
Very cool and trendy without trying too hard. Great rooftop bar and pool with live music.
Loved it!! Planned a romantic get away. And it was perfect. The best place we stayed at during our trip! Very comfortable. Everything we needed. Great food. Great roof top pool area. Loved the lay out! Very enjoyable experience. Will definately come again!!
the shower head was the only thing I can say was a plus of this hotel.
When we first came in the staff was snobby and not friendly. for the price I paid I expected at least a queen size bed, it was a full. the pull out from the couch was completely slanted and sunken in the middle. the other guests were snobby as well, but hey its west Hollywood. I'm from the area so I'm familiar. it was almost impossible to get service by the pool, I must have not looked expensive enough. the "Wi-Fi" did not work. the bathroom smelled like s*%t, the lights consistently flickered if they were on. the pool is a tiny little wading pool 3 1/2 feet deep. if you want to lay out get there early because it is minimal seating and to reserve a bed is $250. they say valet is $34 but its really $44 a night due to "tax". overall, I would rather stay at a hotel chain where I know I will get better service, a bigger room and feel like the money is well spent. I would not recommend this place!
