Super friendly staff, it was my Fiance's birthday so they brought a bottle of wine to the room while we were out to dinner. Beautiful hotel.
A little pricey, but well worth it.
Romantic and comfortable retreat in the middle of the LA hustle and bustle. The room was beautiful and full of many small details to make our stay great. Location to restaurants and bars was perfect! Great value for the money. Don't forget the wonderful restaurant and lounge on the top floor!
Very slow WIFI service and a long wait for our luggage to be delivered to our room after check in.
I liked the personal touch, cookies at reception, swift check in, a little welcome bag in the room - unfortunately I didn't get to spend much time in the hotel it was a flying visit. Room service burger was good, room was comfy and the soap smells gorgeous!
I didn't book too far ahead, it was quite expensive, perhaps it is more cost effective to book early. No tea/coffee in the room and breakfast not included.
Nice rooms. Good amenities. Cool atmosphere. Clean updated bathrooms. Excellent bed=good sleep!
Carpet's a bit sleeve. Could be cleaned or replaced.
The interior decor of the hotel is amazing and is so unique. The food and menu were some if the best I've experienced in a hotel. The rooms were large and spacious with comfortable beds. The roof top pool and dining area is amazing with excellent views of the Hollywood hills.Next time we come to LA we will definitely be stopping at this hotel again!
Wifi connection was poor/slow
friendly staff--interesting design--quirky,quaint decorum--fantastic roof top bar, restaurant, lounging area with awesome views highly recommended
The staff was really terrific. They were very friendly without being cloying. The rooftop is spectacular and the entire experience was exactly what we were looking for in our romantic LA staycation. Thank you, Petit Hermitage! We will see you again soon!
I felt like a I was on a beach on a remote island. The music and ambiance was very tranquil. The rooms were clean and a great value for the price;a lot of space and the balcony excellent. Our room was available later then 4pm, but the hotel compensated us with drinks! A much recommend.
The Location, the rooftop pool area, large room.
no coffee in room, public allowed to use pool area and reserve cabanas and loungers which are very limited, pretentious wannabees around pool.
Rooftop pool and Dining
I like the location, decorations and rooftop.
the restaurant and food service.
I stayed in Petit Ermitage with my colleagues for 2 days. It was wonderful. Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, chilling roof with a nice restaurant and a pool, tasty breakfast. Highly recommended.
The perfect hideaway after some intensive days in Hollywood, still in spitting distance to the Strip if it got too quiet. Delicious breakfast, ok by a Scandinavian budget and stomach. Plenty of space to relax in the sun & shadow (optional) at the wonderful rooftop terrace. Polite and helpful staff, privacy max.
interesting rooms, quite cool furnishing and details.
Rooms were a little murky feeling
Cool vibe, great rooftop area, good location.
We rented a one bedroom apartment because booking.com stated they had kitchens, and we had to have a kitchen. It didn't have a kitchen!
This is a quality hotel where details are important. Generally, the staff was OK. Some people are extreme friendly and helpful, others are the opposite. Good location for shopping and bars. For who cares, the hotel lies in the gay area of LA.
It's a concept you like or hate. The isolation of the rooms wasn't great. There often was a lot of noise from outside from people who come party on the roof of the hotel.
Everything was perfect - beautiful room (stayed in Junior Suite), attentive staff, magical rooftop dining. Wish we could stay longer!
Loved the upstairs pool - perfect for lazy lunches and meetings.
Loved this property, was different from staying in a standard hotel and was a walk up the hill to be right in the action. The views from the restaurant on the roof top are to die for. Jorel on Reception is a huge asset to the venue. He was great!
The assistance by the porters was extremely lacking. I called twice for my bags and my guests and I ended up having to go into the basement to get them ourselves. They just stood there and watched us struggle away with it, no offer of assistance. I believe this was due to my not tipping them as soon as they unloaded our bus, though I was certainly ready to once they delivered it.
The roof top lounge/ pool
Paying for parking. (Though ALL the Valets were the best)
Loved the decor of the whole hotel. The pool area and rooftop restauarant made you feel like you were somewhere in Europe.
The actual pool seems to need a little TLC. Maybe a nice replastering and tile to match the whole vibe of the decking around the pool.
Only hotel guests allowed at pool.
In the heart of West Hollywood, this is a nice hotel with spacious rooms in the same vein as Le Montrose or Le Parc nearby. Decor was a bit odd for my taste but staff were friendly and the rooftop pool a nice place to waste a sunny Sunday afternoon nursing a cocktail or two.
Expensive valet parking charges - like everywhere in LA!!
The guy at the front desk when we were checking in was the only staff member that was the nicest. He was nice, outgoing and always had a smile
The staff by the pool looked like they didn't want to be there. We asked the one server for the dinner menu and he kept forgetting and then finally brought the lunch menu. After we said we asked for the dinner menu and took the menus and didn't come back. We had to ask another lady. No one smiled.
