I really like it there the staff always will to help and so so nice I never have a problem trying to get a room last minute . Have to say. could not ask for any nicer people then them . Rate is always responsible to . And always shopping near bye . There the best my eyes
Tell you the truth I have no dislikes they always made good for them
The woman was tickled that I was pleased with our stay when I told her I hadn't wanted to wake her for check out because evertone was sleeping so well.
price and location
1.very bright light outside my room-could not sleep even with shades drawn. 2.I turned the heat to 62 degrees to sleep and could not turn it up in the morning-very cold.
Absolutely love Wagon Wheel. The staff (owners) are always very accommodating and friendly. We stay here during every visit to the Berkshires.
Was exactly what some other reviewers had said. Basic and clean accommodations. Good value for cost. Was very clean and TV was good.
Wish had channel guide for cable. Bed was a little soft.
Location was good for our tour. Only booked a few days in advance and it was the cheapest deal on our 3 week tour. New launderette about to open next door.. Manager most helpful in receiving a parcel for us
Had to kep stepping outside for wi-fi link
Convenient location. I was offered a room in 'front' or 'back'. I chose 'back' where there was a small yard, off the main street. Room was clean and fresh. Just what I needed, better than I expected, at a great price.
'Kitchen corner' was squeezed into its space (not a problem for me). TV didn't have a good ''guide'' (it was one channel at a time).
Good value. Good free coffee
The blanket color a little dark.
It was clean and comfortable. It had a mini-fridge, microwave and wi-fi. The owner was extremely friendly, kind and responsive to any request. It was no frills and basic, just a comfortable, clean place to stay while playing tourist.
It's not really a dislike but at some point some renovations would probably be nice.
Cheap rate for what you can find in the area.
Not dirty, but not too clean either.
Clean, comfortable and well-appointed. Good value for money.
Proximity to busy highway - rumbling traffic noise.
It was a place to stay for one night and up and out early the next morning . Nice friendly bar next door and a supermarket across the road.
This is a simple, basic, older motel. And, the room was clean, the bed comfortable, the furnishings all suitable and functioning, the bathroom recently and stylishly remodeled...pleasant to use and be in, and a high-def TV w cable. This was just what we needed for a overnight trip to the Berkshires. We were very satisfied and will definitely look to stay at the Wagon Wheel Inn next time we come to the Berkshires.
Room was clean and maintained, the coffee they offered in the morning wasn't bad.
No outlets for charging my electronic devices. It's spotlessly clean but it's a bit dated for the 21st century traveler. A powerbar or packaged pastery with the coffee would be a nice addition. Also would have liked having my dog there but pets weren't allowed.
Loved the owners and their hospitality. I am very particular when it comes to cleanliness and felt that the room was clean. I also liked that I felt safe there. I had accidentally left my wallet on the roof of my car and it was still there, with everything in tact, the following day at noon. Thanks for a wonderful stay and such great prices!
I would add another lock with a latch to the door so as to not get locked out when bringing items in and for the feeling of added safety. I would have basic coffee machines in each room. Also, I would turn up the hot water heater for greater heat in the water.
On a main road, so it's easy to locate. Clean small room with large television mounted on the wall. Comfortable bed and pillows with clean linens.Plenty of room in the shower, because the curtain rod is bowed outward.
The plug in air freshener is too strong for that size room, so it was not very appealing after awhile. No alarm clock. The people in the next unit were very noisy. Very close to the road, so there was a lot of traffic noise at times.
$55 a night was perfect for the ole Wagon Wheel. Rooms were totally fine and clean. Really friendly couple who (I think) owned the place and welcomed us warmly. For the price, it really couldn't have been any better!
Location next to a busy road meant passing cars/trucks all night. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper.
Owners were very nice, place was clean, location was good, no 3 night minimum, fridge and microwave in room
Pillows were pancake flat, room was a mish mash of older and newer furniture and fixtures (but was clean), One outlet didn't work which left only one plug of one outlet available,
Location: Easy to find Proximity to food, shopping, gas, recreation, including Tanglewood and Edith Wharton's estate On main road, but away from major highway Price: Lowest that I could find in this area Bathroom: Good condition, clean TV: size, reception, channels Quiet "Back yard" with picnic tables - nice touch Comfortable bed Very cold refrigerator
Tiny: Had to move a chair everytime I got in or out of bed, or when I opened the refrigerator No tv guide; no control over tv settings; no sleep timer on tv Refrigerator dirty, in poor repair (broken shelf) Weak microwave - lukewarm water after 5 minutes on highest setting No place to plug in laptop while using it; wifi ok after I connected with next door motel's network
Location was great!
Bathroom floor was very slippery and dangerous to walk on. Walls not clean with hair hanging in places.
Cleanliness, refrigerator in room as well as microwave....New bedding and drapes
Old furniture...no coffee pot in room
cheap, conveniently located close to major Lenox attractions
the quality of bathroom is poor, everything needs repairs; pretty noisy ( close to the major road)...but if you need a one-night stand while attending Tanglewood and don't want to spend a lot of money - this place is decent
We were looking for an inexpensive place to sleep while we went to some events at Tanglewood. This fit our criteria. The Sports Bar & Grill next door wasn't fine dining, but the food was good and we could have a drink and walk back to the motel.
The bathroom is very small - although very clean.
good desk service, convenient booking, availability
Mildew smell in bathroom, dirty handprints on doors, just this edge of shabby
