A beautiful western Massachusetts town, very walkable, with nice boutiques and galleries. We visited in October, so some restaurants had closed for the season. We, however,
were fortunate to have an incredible meal at Firefly Gastropub. It was popping the night we were there! We had seats at the bar and were attended by the amazing bartender who must have been wearing roller skates! I highly recommend a visit to the area.

Great town for wonderful restaurants, super quirky shops (and a Judaica store) and perfect location to October Mount, Monument Mount, Great Barrington, Tanglewood, Edith Wharton home, and all the hikes and running trails you could wish for.

If you go to a concert on a Sunday hardly any restaurants are open. If there are any, they don't open until 5 pm which is too late when going to a concert. You need reservations a month or so in advance. No 4 or 5 star hotels. Tanglewood is a wonderful venue to see live music and Canyon Ranch Spa is fabulous

Everything is broken or out of order and the "breakfast"...
Everything is broken or out of order and the "breakfast" that they offer is yogurt, cheap muffins and cheap coffee. The beds are cheap and hard, the pillows are cheap and flat, we didn't have a comforter-we had two sheets and some sort of runner across the foot of the bed. The hair dryer and refrigerator were broken. The advertised pool is empty and filthy. Seriously, there are other hotels that are right around this price point, worth the extra few dollars to pick a different place.

Lenox is a beautiful, historical and authentic town in the heart of the Berkshires that keeps drawing me back. The winding tree-lined roads that lead to the Inns, wonderful restaurants and shops, and classic homes, set amongst the backdrop of mountains, make it truly enchanting.

Lenox is beautiful as are the surrounding areas of Lee, Stockbridge, and Pittsfield. The people were welcoming and the area lovely and quaint. It was our first trip to the Berkshires and to this property but not our last. We enjoyed the countryside, the hiking areas such as Kennedy Park, and the local shops and restaurants. One of our favorite spots was the Starving Artist bistro. The food and service was excellent. We snagged an outdoor table and had lunch. We also enjoyed sitting on our patio at the property listening to the pond and the birds. All equally enjoyable.
We loved how magnificent the landscape and surrounding areas were ! the area is! Everything is so manicured yet rustic at the same time ! The pool , the main mansion area , with its lovely old mansion living room with multiple seating for couples or families, both indoors and outdoors ! Breakfast was buffet style and very convenient ! I love the staff that was making due with so many people for the concert ! James was super accommodating !
Parking and walking path to Tanglewood priceless ! I wish I can go back at the end of August
From the hotel associate to the room…wonderful experience. The associate was very friendly and helpful with local hot spots. The lobby has a bar and is very welcoming. The room was tastefully decorated, and the bed/pillows were extremely comfortable. The bathroom was clean with nice tile and glass door. The bathrobes were an extra cherry on top. Will highly recommend and stay here again if in the area.
it is the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. we all have different standard and expectations but for $121 we paid for 2 bed room in this motel-even in Lenox in the peak of foliage season we expected something else. it is not a 2 star property by no means. definitely no stars. i personally would never return but if it were priced at $50 might at least be more honest/more reasonable value.
Fantastic location in Lenox. The Dewey is a beautiful historic inn and a lovely place to stay. Rooms are very comfortable. We really appreciated being moved to room 12 as the fridge was very useful. Breakfast was simple but adequate, and we enjoyed it. Granola, yoghurt, fresh blueberries, blueberry muffins, bagels and English muffins.
A beautiful house with an open verandah in its own grounds. Plenty of car parking space. Our room (on the ground floor) was large with a super-comfy bed and a big bathroom. Breakfast was do-it-yourself with a good range of options. There were lots of dining places in Lenox centre which is just around the corner from The Constance.
We just needed a place for overnight and this place serviced that purpose. It is definitely a budget hotel but when ranked against some of the other that I have visited, this was definitely a better option. At the time we booked it felt a bit pricey but it may have been because we booked last minute. I would stay there again
Whistlers is the classic old school bed and breakfast - a house filled with antiques and memories and lots of character. It is family run and they care about the guests. This is standard NOT box hotel but if you enjoy sitting in the reading room with a glass of sherry this is your place
33 Main was not only extremely comfortable and sylishly appointed, but also well positioned for any exploration of the Berkshires in general. The breakfast at the hotel itself was fantastic, and Lenox boasts several excellent restaurants that we enjoyed in the evenings.
Host was very friendly. Offered us a warm apple cider drink when we arrived while waiting for our turn to complete our check in. Place is very homey. Area is good. Easy check in and check out. Breakfast was great. Crew were very friendly!
The breakfasts were delicious. And the Mears host family are lovely people, and we enjoyed being with them and chatting with them. Everything was excellent, and I highly recommend a stay at Whistler's Inn if you are in the Lenox area.
Beautifully restored to a lovely B&B type atmosphere. Rooms are smartly decorated and the common areas feel like a like a nice warm hug. Breakfast was a tasty continental breakfast. Very fresh. The staff was kind and welcoming.
Gateways was the perfect place for our stay. It's a beautiful old house in the heart of Lenox with friendly, caring staff who will ensure your stay is memorable. It exceeded expectations in every way.
Perfect place, very quiet. If you're attending to Tanglewood concerts no place better than this one, you can go walking and you can reach Lenox walking in less than 20 minutes.
Good location in the centre of the village. Easy walk to cafes and restaurants. We had a lovely meal at Fiorella’s Cucina. Parking at the rear of the hotel.
I chose this hotel short notice on a budget. Basically on an emergency stay. It was the cheapest hotel available. Valued at $56 plus tax $65 total. (Price)
