We were given an upgrade with a suite for the three of us and pleasantly surprised...loved it and the beds were wonderful. The dinner was amazing in the restaurant and priced as we expected. The staff member Eddie went far beyond our expectations in helping us get to the port and back to the airport after our cruise. Excellent help...thanks Eddie!!! would recommend to everyone who has to stop over in N>Y<C.
The hotel was really clean and modern. All of the facilities were available. The staff were quite helpful and always available. It was a bit noisy at times, but that is what you get in a town centre hotel. We had a suite which was very large and comfortable. Stayed 4 nights but would definitely stay here again. We came back at 11pm one night and felt perfectly safe on our ten minute walk from the subway
Parking was under the hotel, but we had to pay 19$ per night as it was owned by another company. The kitchen had all of the appliances for our stay but bizarrely, there were no cups/plates/cutlery
The hotel was very good, located only a 5-7mins walk from Main St. station. The 7 will take you straight to Times Square and back without any problems. The shuttle service was pretty good and if you need any information, the staff will guide you pretty well. The continental breakfast was good, but if you are staying there for a few days as we did, you may get tired of the same breakfast every day. The amenities were pretty good and clean. The hotel is pretty close to the airport, that being said, we didnt hear any plans landing as some ppl mentioned. Give a try and you will love it
double charge my account, and they gave me cooked-up yam.
I think im not the first one to complain about this.... But booking.com clearly charged me inclusive of breakfast, but the hotel's record said breakfast wasnt included in my reservation!!!
Staff and Comfort were Good & I stay at many, many hotels. I use gym, thanks for yours.
No Wi-Fi, Breakfast staff agreed many guests complained and have for quite sometime. Bad! (I had to go to lobby to use Wi-Fi.) Parking - no warning that I can't park, even to check in!! Within 5 minutes exiting my car to go to the checkin desk I got a $35 ticket. Bad!! And no desk person said "quick, go rescue your car." bad! Bad! Sorry, but these problems don't make me want to return.
Close proximity to LaGuadia airport, everything worked as advertised.
No breakfast for early departures before 6.30am
I liked the size of the rooms, the hotel was very spacious and bright. I also liked the fact that we were given an upgraded room because we had an extra person in our party. The restaurant was closing, but they accomodated us.
I couldn't get Internet, some of the members in my party were able to connect, but for some reason I couldn't.
Helpful staff, excellent restaurant on premises, spacious room
My follow-up reservation didn't got through and we have to pay to pay for the on site price rather than the online internet price.
The washer and dryer was a plus and charge reasonable.
The hair dryer was full of dust and it stays on less than a minute. I had to wait for it to cool down and try again. It had delayed my schedule. I informed the front desk and they had finally changed a new one.
Excellent guest relations..staff was hands on and pleasant and helpful. Comfortable, clean room..great buffet breakfast and great dinner at the Magna restaurant.
Walking distance of Citi Field. China Town shopping close.
Area seemed a little rough. Way to many people. Wi-Fi was terrible.
The staff went beyond, especially Eddie and Fabio.
Restaurant, staff, proximity to LaGuardia airport, complimentary airport shuttle, rooms and amenities.
Great room, clean and spacious Good location, 10 mins walk to subway, shops & bus stops even closer, restaurants close by
As this was a suite with cooking facilities, fridge, freezer, dishwasher etc. I was surprised that there were no cooking pots, cooking utensils, crockery or cutlery.
Friendly helpful staff
the qualitiy of the bed size of the room
noisy average breakfast bad organised shuttle stuff is not well informed
Clean and comfortable considering the surrounding neighborhood. Staff was friendly and price was reasonable.
Although location is convenient, the area is hectic especially during rush hour. Wifi is free but unstable.
Service was great. I had a problem with the thermostat in my room (no heat). I called the front desk and the problem was fixed immediately.
Convenient to LaGuardia
We were upgraded to a huge room with a kitchen, etc. we were staying one night and leaving at 5:30 AM. Would have been okay but the heat couldn't keep up and the room was freezing. No light blocking curtains on the windows either. The fan blowing the heat into this impossibly large space ona zero degree night was very noisy.
They upgraded our room to a 2 bedroom suite at no additional charge because of a snafu when my sister-in-law arrived before my wife and I did. The suite was massive with a full kitchen, dining area and a small living room with free WiFi. Bathroom had a jacuzzi tub (that didn't work) and a shower. The "Suites" side of the hotel is much superior to the hotel side.
We felt like second class citizens because we booked through Booking.com. My sister-in-law was unable to check-in prior to our later arrival even though I spoke to the desk clerk on the phone in her presence. They kept telling me that, "If I had booked with the hotel directly, they would have let her in the room." Also, I didn't like the lack of a fan in the bathroom and the softness of the beds. Our booking did not include breakfast but would have if we booked through the hotel.
Stuffs are very helpful and friendly. Nearly located with metro and gas station. With many choices of Chinese food in main street.
additional parking fee is expensive. Cant check in on time due to the peaking season of holiday.
Very clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast.
Rough, expensive parking. But I guess that's what you get in NY.
the nice staff at front desk
i couldnt take advantage of the free breakfast since i had to be at my job site by 6am
