Friendly staff, clean rooms, easy to find the place, outlets are nearby.

Not walking distance to town.

I did not get the advertized price for the room. I followed all the rules and presented my coupon. I was told to speak to the manager at 7am. The manager did not come to the office at 7am. The office was open and no one was there or answered me when I spoke.

Price was fair considering hotels in the area are expensive. Room was overall clean and well kept.

Check-in is 2pm. We arrived at 2:40pm and office was closed with note saying it was closed for 20 minutes "or longer". I called the phone number on note, but no answer. We had to come back later to get checked in. This is an inconvenience when you arrive from out of town with no where to go! Don't know about the free breakfast. We had to leave at 7:15 the next morning and again, no-one in office and no food in sight!

Great location, easy to find, friendly and helpful frot desk manager. Great town to visit in summertime; we'll be back! Rooms were clean and comfortable had updated items such as TVs with flat screens, which I didn't expect for a small place like this. They've kept the rooms nice.

We didn't mind but the place is close to highway, may bother some. Not in walking distance to town, about 1 mile away but we had a car.

Heating unit didn't work very well. Mattress was hard; sheets were course. Advertised breakfast was not available because it was the "slow season". Room smelled of smoke even though it wa a non- smoking room.

Noise from I-95, but if you are used to that then it wont be a problem.

We attended a wedding in a nearby town. The location was only 10 minutes drive from our room. The price was a great value. The room was clean and well stocked.

The Motel is very close to I-95, which I knew before I made the reservation. The heat was not on in the room when we arrived and it was below 30 degrees outside.

The bath room was fine except the shower drain very very slow, standing in water while showering. Towels although clean were very coarse. Location from 95 south great but had to call for directions going north from Old Saybrook. No signage from difficult intersection. Once you get the hand of it it's very easy. Being in the interior design field it could be less drab and dark with lighter colors for window treatments and bed covers could pick same. Some

Cost. Located right on us 95 highway noise. Hard to find without gps.

The room was adequate... No more. It was clean, but needed painting.

Their ad on booking.com states that they offer a Continental Breakfast, however, the manager told us that because they didn't have enough guests, none would be available to us. The bathroom needed painting and repairs. The ceiling had water damage and the bath faucet needed repair. It was a cheap night's stay in a cheap, run-down hotel.

Room was quite clean.

Beds need to be updated but were ok. Outside covered hallway and stairs needed to be cleaned.

The person we called to do reservations with were horrible. Only having until 9:30 PM in to check in is horrible.

Price was good!

Found hair in bed the morning we were leaving that was not mine. Made me think that sheets were not clean!!

Very poorly kept rooms, stained old furniture, located on a noisy highway. Expensive for the quality. Incompetent staff, could not advise on Internet.. or help with the coffee machine which did not work. I'd sleep in a tent or on the beach rather than going back to the Liberty Motel. You should remove it from the list of recommended hotels. This is my first really negative experience with bookings.

There was nothing to be liked. Very depressing place.

Das Motel liegt verkehrsgünstig für Geschätsreisende, ist aber für einen längeren Aufenthalt nicht so geeignet, es sei denn, man ist nicht straßenlärmempfindlich. Das Motel hat Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle, man kann sich abends selbst versorgen. Morgens gibt es ein kleines, ausreichendes, amerikanisches Frühstücksbufett, das im Zimmerpreis enthalten ist. Während der 6 Tage, die wir dort wohnten, haben nur wenige Reisende dies genutzt. Kostenlose Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden.

Das Motel liegt leider sehr nah an einer großen Straße der 95. Da es keine Doppelfenster hat, ist das Schlafen ohne Ohrstöpsel ein Problem.

The staff was friendly and they allowed us to check in early so we could get ready for the wedding we were going to. The room, location, and price suited our needs for the one night we were there.

We were on the first floor and the footsteps from the people staying above us were very noisy. Also the sheets and towels had some stains on them. Not much selection for breakfast - just donuts, bananas and toast. No cereal, muffins, or other fruit.

Rooms were clean and comfortable.
