We stayed in the Boston light room and had a wonderful time! Comfy bed, fireplace in room, breakfast was amazing, perfect level of attentiveness and privacy from the owners.
Wifi didn't work for us but not a big deal
Everything! View is fabulous; 5 acres of seclusion makes for a relaxing stay. No neighbors and very little traffic on this "back" road. Mike, the owner, is fabulous and makes one mean omelette! We are certainly returning to this spot.
Our hosts Pat & Mike were very accommodating to our early morning marathon breakfast schedule.
Pat and Mike were perfect hosts - homemade goodies made my husband very happy, great recommendations for our dinner that night and activities the next day, we had a very good time and would stay again if in the area
WiFi wasn't working well, but didn't really need it - so not a problem
So many interesting antiques and very comfortable bed. Very delicious breakfast.
Not being able to lock bedroom door when leaving the room
Friendly, helpful host, good bedroom, excellent sitting room and great breakfast. We couldn't have asked for more.
No restaurant within walking distance, but we knew that when we booked.
Comfortable bed, very clean. Friendly staff, good breakfast.
No key for room so could not lock room from other guests. Also no phone or TV in room. There is common room with TV, but others were watching. Internet and cell phone service not always available.
Great place a little bit away from the street, close to the beach!!! Quiet and really nice cottage!!!
Very friendly and helpful hosts, close to lake Winnepasuki. Felt like home complementary coffee tea beer and wine and comfortable lounge. Superb breakfasts really nothing to fault!
Would have liked to have stayed longer!
Ease and comfort of facility, location and staff!
The area is a great base for exploring the Lakes and Mt Washington. The Lighthouse Inn B&B has lovely grounds and very friendly and helpful hosts - all of which we experienced for about 20 minutes until given directions to travel approx 5 miles to a completely different site for our 2 bedroom Cottage. We had assumed we were staying in the grounds of the Lighthouse Inn, which from it's photos looked lovely and was why we booked. The info about the Cottages being elsewhere is buried in the web page but we had not realised this.
Almost everything. We arrived late and exhausted and Innkeeper drove to an open restaurant to get us dinner. Exceptional service! Breakfasts were excellent.
Would liked to have been near water, but the setting was quite nice.
Friendly ambiance, hearty breakfast and lovely hosts who went out of their way to help.
Very comfortable place to stay, quiet and remote. Staff was always very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and always like new towels, etc. Good breakfasts and a nice dining area made this a pleasant stay.
Sink in bathroom - -because of the slope of the sink everything placed there would fall into the sink. Frustrating!
No closet in the bedroom.
Very comfortable surroundings and we were made to feel most welcome by Mike and Pat.
The atmosphere, the living room was cozy, beautiful room, the view extroadinary, our room, comfy, quaint, spacious....The warm smell of baked cookies just like when I was growing up...the thoughtfulness of the owners who made us muffins to take to the races.... Very considerate and thoughtful a great couple
Nothing, I have never stayed at a B & B before...
The owners are outstanding and very accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lighthouse Inn! We have stayed here three times..highly recommend this B & B.
The area was nice, right on the lake, also nice pool, the grounds were kept nice
Everything was a lie! Stove didn't work, wanted to make breakfast and only 1 burner worked. Not enough towels, there was No-one around to get any extra. We had 5 in our group and only 2 towels and 2 hand towels, 2 wash-clothes were stained. The Wi=Fi didn't work for the most part. The cottage was dingy and not enough sleeping space, One of my kids had to sleep with blankets on the floor, The cottage was supposed to sleep six, NOT TRUE! very expensive for what we got, we will never stay there again!!
The B&B is located in a very quiet patch not far away (by car) from Meredith (nice !) and Weirs beach. The owners try to make your stay nice (coffee, breakfast, indications,...). The garden is very nice and the house quiet (excellent place to relax). Apparently there are interesting animals around (deer, fox, bears, ...), but we didn't stay long enough to see them.
Being picky: There are no views of the lake :-(, but none were promised... We were on a (large & nice) room at the end of the house and wifi coverage was poor inside the room (but it was OK once we got close to the room door).
Friendly owners and clean cottage, with a fully stocked kitchen. Nice pool.
When I booked, I didn't realize that the cottages were not located with the main inn. I would have liked a lake view. The smoke alarm went off when I used the stove, even for just boiling water. A sign above the stove to remind guests to turn on the a/c unit when cooking would be helpful.
Have stayed at Lighthouse Inn for the the past 4 years in August. I recommend it highly. Pat and Mike truly know how to run a bed and breakfast. They really care to make your stay a great experience. They do it right!!
