The beds were comfortable and the sheets were clean. The pool area seemed nice.
The place was in a state of disrepair. The room had a strong urine smell. Upon talking to the staff, I was offered a bottle of Fabreze and was told they would give me a partial refund. The next day the manager was not in until after check out time. I left my number but she never called. I would not recommend anyone to stay here until they clean up their act.
The room was horrible. The staff was even worse! The first night I was over charged and the women at the front desk was extremely un-friendly. I wish I had just walked away and lost out on the money right then and there!
Loved that we were on the first floor as requested and that we were in the pool solarium. The pool was refreshing, close and clean. Walking distance to ferry and overnight parking right on site.. Walking distance to many places to eat--most enjoyable George's.
Little dated. Feathers everywhere from the sea gulls and didn't see any effort to clean that up.
The location was perfect for walking to beaches and restaurants. The entire staff were friendly and accommodating.
Location, with ferry parking right behind the biilding.
Noisy at night.
It was very close to the ferry. That was the main reason why we picked this place.
The seagulls. The were up before dawn and super loud. There was no sleeping in. Also they were molting and it was gross walking around the parking lots.
STAFF WAS FRIENDLY
THE PLACE IS FILTHY AND THEY DO NOT CHANGE THE SHEETS OR BEDDING OR CLEAN YOUR ROOM.
The room was very dirty. The carpet was soaked and filthy. There was mold on the shower curtain. The location of the room was inside right in front of indoor swimming pool. This hotel lets the Block Island ferry customers use the parking lot for a fee and there is very little parking for the motel customers. We had to park a distance from our room. Very inconvenient. I complained about all of this in the morning and they did take 1/2 off the cost. But even at 1/2 the cost, it was really a bad experience.
Friendly staff, pool, good water pressure.
Lack of housekeeping in atrium area. Very poor TV selection , more channels s/b added.
Cleanliness and no wi-fi. Price was way too high.
Across street from block island ferry
I'm sorry but this was not worth the $169 per night. It was more like a $69 per night notell motel. Located in an industrial area with no scenic views. Many things broken and needed replacement but whatever, we made the early ferry for block island. The desk attendants were nice.
I liked that it was across the street from the block island ferry.
The motel is run down kinda creepy Alot of seagull poop all over the parking lot.
I liked nothing! The place should me condemned.
The Location was good for our purpose. Good restaurants within walking distance.
The hotel is old and out of date. Needs to be updated. Needs to have a hairdryer in the room.
We were in a first floor room, the guys next door were smoking which got in our room. We called front desk, they came and moved is to a nicer room on the top floor.
Down stairs room wasn't as nice as the upstairs one.
deceiving location of Inn itself - proximity to roadside; decrepit, rundown outside rooms open to inside lobby of indoor pool area -- poor air quality, poor privacy dead bolt on room door was broken, and part of it missing
Not maintained very well.
We liked the location. It is directly across the street from the Block Island Ferry. There are 2 beaches very close, 1 nice one within walking distance. We brought our bicycles, and there was a lot that you could bike to. We locked our bicycles in the back lobby with no issues. Staff was very friendly. Pool was a plus for the kids.
It wasn't right on the beach or the water, as the picture that I saw would lead you to believe, although the water is right across the street. There is a substantial seagull problem there, we saw a couple of people get dumped on walking to their cars. I guess my advice would be to bring an umbrella or run very fast to your car! :)
Nothing! Horrible conditions!! False advertising I want all my money back I am furious! This place was disgusting! I can't believe what happened to us! How dare booking.com rent out this dump to its customers! I want someone to contact me!!!
Read above ! I want my money back! False advertising. Shame on you Booking.com
Great price! Across the street from ferry and walking distance to fishing boats.
I lied the location. The room was tidy and clean. The pool area was very large and clean. Staff were pleasant .
The fan in the pool room was so loud you had a hard time conversing. Otherwise, it was enjoyable and well cared for.
The location was great, located in beautiful Galilee on the Narragansett bay. The indoor pool is quite adequate, it's ten feet deep. We went bar hopping and had a great night. George's has a very nice bar and Buster Crab's is a nice atmosphere to drink in, The Wheel house isn't a great restaurant but It was nice to have a beer on the deck and look down at the fishing boats and ferry
I stayed in room 215, which is a double room. The first bed in the room was sunken in and uncomfortable, luckily we only needed one bed and the other was fine. Also the toilet was a little wobbly. The pool probably had a bit too much chlorine. However I had a great time.
Pool setup was excellent.
Lack of wifi and breakfast...but being on vaca others might tend to go out for bfast instead of staying in a hotel
Location is close to Block Island Ferry
Condition of the hotel is terrible they say it was updated - it is not true Bathroom's ceiling has mold carpet badly stained accumulation of dust and mold on lamp shades Outside lots and lots of birds Wchich is understandible but once in the while they could clean birds poop - it's everywhere !!! I think I overplayed never come back
The bed linens looked clean and the beds were comfortable
The bathroom floor, tub, toilet were dirty along with the sink. Hair was in the tub and sink. It was so disgusting we just washed up and did not shower because we didn't want to be in the bathroom or tub. carpet was not vacuumed. Found bird feathers, cigarette butt and paper on floor. The carpet had stains everywhere. The electrical outlets were in very inconvenient places---behind a table and on a wall by the bed (it didn't work) and on the lamp on the night stand. No outlets by the sink where you need them. Would have liked to have been warned about the birds. My car was 3 weeks old and the birds made a mess. They also wake you up early in the morning. Hotel needs a new cleaning crew and updated look. Would never stay again or recommend to anyone. Told my friends who live in Narragansett to tell other visitors not to stay there.
