Location and value.

Drinking glasses were not changed daily.

We enjoyed our stay and felt the facilities were excellent. Would definitely stay here again. Very welcoming. Thank you!!

Lovely setting in the trees. The cottages are really nice. Had full breakfast,very good. lovely dining room. Nice spread of wine and cheese plus extras, also hot dogs and hamburgers. walk to ocean in different directions.

Too far from downtown Pacific Grove. Love to walk there. took the car.

Beautiful surroundings. Easy walk to the beach. Great for bike riding.

The place is still great in period style, but the decor needs updating. Couch covers are a little tacky.Broken window slats in bathroom. the front door on room 314 Leaks air badly.

Love this lodge! Stayed here some years ago and loved it then and it has only gotten better. Beautiful location and close to the shore for walking and tide pool exploration. Complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast was wonderful with many choices; wine and cheese and appetizers above and beyond for being included in the price of the room. I will be back!

Maintenance issue that was brought to management's attention, moving of breakfast on weekend to too small of an area

We were very close to the ocean and could hear it at night and we were able to easily access the trails along the coast line. It was central to Monterey and Carmel area.

Can't say there was anything negative about our stay.

Shredded curtains, room needed updating...bed soft and uncomfortable, noisy fridge in room. Thin towels, forgot to replenish toiletries.

The beds and pillows were very comfortable -- the best I've experienced in a hotel/motel. It was a quiet environment and very well located.

We loved everything! The room was great and the bed was comfortable. We loved the wine reception and chef cooked breakfast each day. The hotel was a short walk to a great beach loaded with tidepools. We can't wait to go back!

Location, convience to restaurants.

Room was well worn, but clean and comfortable. Romance package not provided as promised (for our anniversary). Telephone did not work (for local call).

the interior colors were dated and the beds were soft... needed updated bedding

Loved when we were able to have the chef prepared breakfast, but was a let down when we had to switch to the lodge facility. Loved the wine reception and the cozy fireplace. Loved the deer and wildlife that wandered so close by. Close to PG Golf Course.

Really needs upgrades. Not enough TV stations as I had to stay in two days to work.

The staff was great! They went out of their way to make our stay the best ever!

Location and staff were great! Price was good considering free food:-) When hot tub was down we were upgraded to a suite w/spa tub.. Perfect solution for us. Never heard any noise from neighbors and regularly saw deer in the area...great stay!

Weather was cold, but no fault of the lighthouse lodge'S. Breakfast could have included more options.

Beautiful facilities. Loved the spacious Junior Suite with the woodwork. Breakfast and Wine/Cheese buffet were exceptional.

Love the fireplace. Bed was very comfortable. Whirlpool Bath was great !!!

I like the location near Asilomar and the golf course. I like the buffet breakfast in the morning.

The tiles in the bathroom were cracked. Upon checking out, I realized that I was being charged $133 for the first night and $169 for the second night. Since this has never happened before (having stayed there for the past 15 years) I didn't notice this difference in price. I know I signed a paper with this upon arrival, but didn't notice it. When I asked why there was a difference the young lady at the desk said it was because I booked on-line. There was no good explanation and I left feeling bad.
