Wonderful location.... so much to do. The breakfast was the best on our trip. Great hostess! Wonderful congenial atmosphere. I will be bringing my family there next year because there is so much to see and do.
We liked the setting-the friendliness of the staff, the comfort the breakfast and appearance of the room. The area was interesting to exploreThe nearest restaurants were good.
The breakfast bistro was very nice. A good variety of foods, clean and we met wonderful travelers. Basically a good place.
The bathroom was very small and needs updating. You have to empty your own waste baskets and if you want new towels everyday, there is a trade- in time at the office. The mattress was too soft and needs replacing. The cottage was small but workable for two nights.
Breakfast was fine. Cute cottage that would be fun if made more comfortable.
Bed was hard, room was too cramped & worn
It was a very quaint room. Everything was clean and met our expectations.
The continental breakfast is lovely but the eating area is a little tight - smaller tables would make it more functional.
Loved the friendly atmosphere. The grounds were beautiful. There were various amenities to avail us of in our leisure time. Breakfast was always a pleasant experience and an opportunity to meet other travelers.
Wi fi did not work. The service was poor. (This is not necessarily a fault of the facility but of the carrier). Need better curtains on the windows to block out the early morning light.
Heavy towels. Location. Cute cottages
Ceiling fans were very dusty.
The owner made me feel as if I had known her for years. It was our anniversary and a wedding weekend and we enjoyed our stay.
The location, the breakfast (well complete and balanced) and the very nice attendment in the front desk.
Too small room for family with children (I've asked room with children). The wi-fi was very slow and terrible.
Bed was comfortable. Location is close to Camden and not too far away from Belfast.
Small room, somewhat cramped quarters. No t.v. Stale cereal at breakfast. Shower was cramped due to large molded seat in enclosure. Housekeeping had left hair in bathroom that I noticed when I got into room.
Great staff; friendly, accommodating, professional. They go out of their way to help you with whatever you need, including great information about what to do in the area. The cabins, were nice, very clean; very secluded place..very peaceful....
Wi-fi doesn't work well, but they tell you that in the brochure; it's just the location. Also, for me, I'd prefer a place closer to a town; if you like seclusion, this place is the best; but for me, it was a bit too far of a drive..but it's the first time in the area for me, so I really didn't know where I was going....
Nice setting, great breakfast and very friendly owner!
the cottages were spaced far enough apart that you did't feel encroached upon.
The bathroom was not level.
Location, staff, price, breakfast.
Very cramped space, especially in the bathrooms.
The cottage is very cozy, new, and nicely decorated. It's rustic but has a modern accent. The staff kept the room very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful too with a variety of food to choose from. We really enjoyed our stay here! It's a unique experience in Maine.
We arrived at 1pm but had to wait until 3pm to check in because no one was in the office.
Jane was very helpful and gave us great ideas for sightseeing! Breakfasts had many options and were wonderful. The grounds are well kept.
Very small shower and lack of hot water.
The friendly staff.
The room was so small. Once the couch was pulled out so people could sleep there was no room to put our 5 month old pack & play. He had no where to sleep. There was also no room for luggage. The sink and shower were so small we had no where to bathe him. This was my first time staying at a cottage so I do not know how it works but 5 of us were there for 3 nights & not once did our trash get taken care of nor did we get any clean towels.
We loved the privacy of having our own cottage, the pet policy, and the beachy decor. Also the location and proximity to local activities.
There was no tv.
Clean and comfortable with great views.
The staff and facilities were great! We enjoyed visiting with Dr. Jane and she shared her vast knowledge of the area.
The door in the shower should have swung the other way - pretty picky because we loved the place!
I liked everything about my experience. Our room was quaint and very clean. Owner was very nice and helpful. Great location! Would stay again!
Great cottages. Close to nice shopping and harbor. Feel welcome every time I come in . Well run, and safe for female travelers.
The room was comfortable and nicely decorated warm (but the WiFi signal was patchy). Breakfast was great and the Jane was very helpful. Overall it was good value for money.
once we got there staff were very nice and accommodating.
we started off on wrong foot as booking did not inform that we ought not call in the evening and I woke up inn-keeper. Staff seemed somewhat rigid about exceptions or request for more bedding (it was cold) or bedding to actually USE the fold out couch which was presented to us as one of the bedding options in the room. This rigidity made us uncomfortable
Close to our destination.
The person at the front desk was not gay friendly, she called my wife my "husband". The pet policy is ridiculous. The hotel room had cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, the walls aren't insulated. There were holes between the windows and the frame, and they were stuffed with tissues to prevent bugs from coming in. The shower was insanely small. I weigh 130 lbs and hardly fit.
