Nothing except location for our purposes.

Room was old, dirty and no way deluxe. Bathroom even worse. Restaurant staff very uncooperative,and unfriendly even though we were resident. Had to go out and find a restaurant.

Loved the location and found the whole experience surprisingly pleasant.

The historic feel of the hotel was great, including the museum rooms. The many windows in the bedroom were nice.

The heat was a problem until the staff brought a space heater. Then everything was fine.

The historical aspect of the Inn and the old world charm.

The heat was hard to regulate because of the old steam method.

The young staff was courteous and helpful. The recent renovations and updates have made the hotel even more beautiful in its historic relevance while adding modernp-day comforts to the room. The included continental breakfast was fresh and delicious each morning. The location is great as the hotel is located in the middle of town within walking distance of great restaurants, small shops, a grist mill and a theater. There is close-by a beautiful covered bridge and nice walks along the river. People in the hotel and the town are always pleasant and sociable. It is a great weekend get-away in a wonderful historic town and hotel for those looking for such a stop.

I =t would have been nice to have been able to get a drink after ten o'clock.

I liked the old fashion feel to it. The rooms were quaint. I also liked the location especially along the river in the back of the Inn.

The public facing areas of the premises were well presented - reception, staircase & landing - sadly that was purely cosmetic as the same level of attention was not afforded to the room we were allocated.

The staff made no eye contact nor did they make anything other than minimal effort to engage. The room furnishings were a mix of old unmatched pieces. The room was grimy & unclean. The bathroom was the size of a small closet which contained a broken shower compartment that was not clean. The room was badly in need of a complete overhaul, deep clean & redecoration.

Nice clean environment well located in town. I loved the old building. Staff was friendly and helpful!

No elevator which was no issue for me but I noticed the Stacie's were a struggle for some seniors and some larger folks!

The Historic hotel needs to update all bathrooms, beds, furniture and add a lift or elevator to the hotel. I would have paid more if the hotel was updated.

Two day stay; our room #8 was not made up after first nights stay! Not good this is a basic expectation of any hotel/inn! Poor bedside lighting for two people. Lack of bedside or other small table space in room and bathroom; where do you place small articles; toothbrush, shaver, change, keys,

We always enjoy staying at the fair is inn. It is a great historic inn located on main street.

The atmosphere of this historic hotel is incredible. Although very old, the hotel offers fairly big size rooms.The restaurant downstairs offers good cocktails and awesome food!

Sad that the breakfast is a little bit poor (not much to choose from).

Le charme de l'établissement datant de 1843.L'histoire de la ville de Littelton est interessante et l'hôtel y est relié.Cet endroit a du connaître des jours plus glorieux ,de grands halls,escaliers ,meubles, boiseries ,coupole en témoignent. Une cure de rajeunissement revaloriserait ses beaux vestiges.Le lieu mérite que l'on s'y arrête.

Le restaurant au sous-sol à l'arrière de l'établissement,alors qu'une belle salle à manger et un bar avec cachet d'époque ne sont pas utilisés.

Loved the history and charm of the Inn - we also ate in the downstairs bar and had a delightful late lunch.

Our room could have used an update in furniture and bedding - perhaps some nice vintage pieces and such.

Pas de surveillance la nuit. Problèmes avec clients bruyant et chien qui jappe dans corridor. Pas dormi de la nuit!!!!

When I used the hair dryer - we lost power in the room. It was fixed promptly.

Relaxing; near where I wanted to go.

--would have liked the staff to be more welcoming; --very slippery steps at front door! My friend slipped and fell; and the next day, there was no rug there to prevent this with happening to someone else....hopefully no elderly person has fallen.

The bed was very comfy and the inn and room I stayed in was very nice and tastefully furnished.

I was unable to shower for two days because the water in the shower only got lukewarm at best. Also, because the inn is old, it is very noisey. If you are looking for a quiet retreat, this is not it.

Quaint and charming hotel in a pleasant small town.
