Lovely setting on lake. Great steak house on premises. Wish we had more time to enjoy lodge but was more of a stopover.

Breakfast could use a bit of love. Too store bought and cream in a pitcher preferred over individual peel backs.

For paying that much I thought the continental breakfast could have been more. Oatmeal was the only thing you had for a warm breakfast beside toast and bagels. Other hotels that we have stayed out the cost less per night and not as fancy seem to offer a bigger variety and a quite a few warm breakfast options.

A very nice and comfortable place to stay. It has a rustic flavor to it, yet is very accommodating. Very nice restaurant, as well!

I really enjoyed the view of the mountain across the lake The common area was comfortable, well-decorated. I loved sitting by the fireplace to read and relax. We were some of the only guests at the time and it was so quiet and peaceful. The location of the breakfast area was also quite lovely.

Loved the room. It was elegant, yet homey. The location on Lake Pend Oreille is amazing. Staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant and lounge are 5 Star.

I liked the location, by the water, I also liked the food at the restaurant

The constant trains in the middle of the night, whistling , we did not sleep well at all.

This is a stunning hotel on the shores of Lake Pendle Orielle - it has a lovely beach and the crystal clear waters of the lake are great for swimming or boating. The lake view rooms are worth the extra. The neighbouring restaurant No.41 is excellent and dining on the terrace on a summers evening is hard to beat.

The breakfast is out of place in that it lets down the otherwise luxurious hotel - it is a poor quality cold buffet when one would expect much better from such a superb hotel.

Room, amenities, friendly people, location on the lake, and the quality of accommodations. We had a room on the ground floor and you can walk out onto lawn and to lake.

Noise from nearby road and bridge. Internet connection was poor, intermittent, the whole time we were there; four days.
