The lodge is right on the lake - and nice to look out - the pool and the lounge by the lake
bar/lounge by the lake too small - not enough tables and chairs for just sitting and have a cocktail and to look out.
Room near the road and over the function suite therefore noisy Noisy air con Dirty stairs Dust and paper under beds
Very spacious rooms on a lovely lake. Comfortable beds and pillows.
No access to walk anywhere around the lake. You can sit and look at it but that's about it.
Lovely location - close to Amtrak, perfect for day trips to Glacier National Park. Spacious, well-appointed room and great spa!
large, comfortable room (1 king suite; partial lake view) food was excellent (breakfast, lunch and dinner) friendly, accommodating staff whitefish is a great town to visit with lots of events going on during the summer; the lodge offers lots of activities at the lake to keep everyone happy
the pillows were terrible and the bed was saggy. housekeeping seemed to refill our room supplies randomly (if we were out of soap, we would get shampoo; if we needed new hand towels, we got new bath towels instead)
rooms facility location
too hot, even with air conditioner on, must have been fireplace, although it was turned off?
Location and staffing excellent.
Shower was way too small and slate did not look clean. As a mature couple we never got to use the swimming pool or hot tub as they were constantly full of kids/young people.
Location Staff Dining View
The room was large and comfortable. The staff was as nice and as helpful as I could ever hope for. The bathroom was large and the towels were plentiful and luxurious.
The weather in Whitefish is very unpredictable. Other than that, there was nothing I didn't like about the hotel.
The location was good but a drive if you want to go to town or the ski mountain. Lake was nice but the pool and bar area block the view and were messy most of the time.
Housekeeping!! Our room had a kitchenette that had crumbs on the floor when we arrived and they were still there when we left...even after asking for a good cleaning. Our toilet overflowed after the 2d repair and the bathroom floor had the previous tenants hairpin on the floor...yuck!!!
The lodge is beautiful and the views are excellent. The Boat Club was incredibly tasty and our waiter, Brandon was a delight and very accommodating.
The maid service was less then expected for such a nice hotel. Our room was not thoroughly cleaned each day. Just laziness on their part, not cleaning the coffee filters out of the coffee maker, not completely making the bed, two days without tissue. One of the maids was eating jerky, walking and talking around, smoking and talking on her phone. They need supervision.
Rooms were very comfortable. Pillows and sheets were soft and high quality. We slept very well and felt like we were on vacation even though we live three hours away. We love the pool, the gorgeous lake views, the boat club restaurant is excellent, and the fact that you can rent boats is great!!!
There was one staff member who was a little snooty, and I wish it was a slight bit more affordable but all in all you get what you pay for- and this place was worth it ;)
Staff, location, harbour with rentals on site(book in time), food, parking
We were placed in room 248 which is right above the wedding disco. It lasted a lot longer than said and it was as if the disco was in our room. They didnt warn us and then the 2nd night there was another disco so we asked for a different room in the viking area on the other side of the road. That room also had machine noises in so we ended up in 3 diff rooms in one night. but they handled it very nicely and they went out of their way to get us comfortable and even deducted the roomrate as we ended up in a cheaper room!
The coffee was pleasant and priced reasonably.
The poorly appointed room. One chair no table. Sliding barn doors on bathroom. One could be showering and be on display to others in the room. The fridge was so small as to be basically a toy.
room with fireplace ... view of lake .. good underground parking...will return
rainy, cool weather for end of June LOL
Location and dining were wonderful. The lodge was beautiful
We booked a room thinking we would be around the lake, but were across the street in the addition. No mention of this in the info about the facility.
Beautiful view. Beautiful room.
The view was the best. The beds were very comfy. The Tiki bar was fun. The food was awesome! The staff were very nice.
The internet connection was poor and intermittent. The dinning service was a little slow.
Awesome pool, spa, lake views and location. The lemonade drink at the pool bar was awesome.
The parking valet was hustling for tips. The bar staff openly mocked me when I lost my phone. The check in time of four o'clock was late. A cigarette butt appeared in the outside of our window...creepy!
Beautiful.& spacious room. Location --right on the lake. Shuttle bus to downtown Very friendly & helpful staff
Slate floor in bathroom very cold on feet. Should have installed in floor heating in a brand new room.
My room, the seating outside at the restaurant was beautiful and private. The staff was fabulous! They did a great job hosting m son's wedding.
The loud music by the pool so early in the morning.
The location was nice. The beds were comfortable
Rooms have paper thin walls and ceiling very loud. If you want a black coffee but hate those in room gross things you have to pay for it poetry nickel and dime. They will not change your sheets asked twice no dice.
the room was nice
meals are too expensive far out of the city
Great location and wonderful rooms.
Would have liked a lake view room but they cost more.
Staff courteous and very helpful. Offered shuttle to downtown. Room was pricey but felt we got our money's worth. We enjoyed all of the amenities.
