The Lodge of the Ozarks has a great location , friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are spacious and clean. The atmosphere is very inviting.
Bed was hard
Breakfast was good and have nice selection of food for a hotel.
According to reservation and hotel website there's a hot tub but it's closed down permanently; was told there would be a fridge and microwave in our room but no micro and fridge didn't work; our room was supposed to have a spa bath but instead had a regular tub that wouldn't even hold water; couldn't close our blinds completely because the slider it's attached to was broke; the ice machine on our hall was broke so had to walk to other end of hotel..
The carpet in the rooms need cleaned.
Great room, good sleep. Nice stay. Will stay again, especially at the great Booking.com rate of less than $70.
The lady who checked us in was a bit rude
Location is very good. Easy to get to all venues for us. Staff was very friendly. Clean, for the most part. Accommodating for our specific requests.
Carpeting appears very old and stained. One bed cover had some sort of stain or substance on it. AC unit smelled moldy. One mattress was weak on one half (springs). Third day, carpet had not been swept (strings still there from prior day). Outdoor 'smoking area' allowed smoke smell to come into our room.
Nice place with a great location.
Shower was bad. Temp. would change from cold to scalding. Never the way it should be.
The staff was excellent. Our room was beautiful, and the location was awesome. We will definitely book here again.
This place had a rustic feel to it. We purchased a king room with a spa tub and it was wonderful. Everything was clean and comfortable and everything we expected. We will definitely be going back. The breakfast buffet was good, too, more than your ordinary bagel and cereal bar. I would recommend this lodge to anyone!
The hot tub was not in service.
food,pool,mold in Jacuzzi tub
The customer service was great
The food was disgusting
THE LOCATION, THE SIZE OF THE ROOM, THE DECOR
THE RESTAURANT, THE A/C WAS A LITTLE NOISY AND DIDN'T HAVE A REFRIGERATOR IN THE ROOM
Very friendly and helpful staff. Check in was a breeze! Clean, and comfy surroundings and our room was wonderful! We had a balcony overlooking the pool area which was great! The rooms were quiet and we had a great stay!
Continental breakfast was awful! We ended up going out for breakfast everyday instead. I have had better continental breakfasts at Days Inn, Econolodge, etc. That was seriously disappointing. Also, the hotel lounge was not open the entire time we were there over the holiday weekend. We would of enjoyed a cocktail there after our nights out at the shows.
It is on the strip and close to shows and attractions.
This hotel used to be my favorite place to stay in Branson. I have stayed there several times but this time was different. You get a voucher for breakfast but now the breakfast only consist of dry cereal and yogurt when it used to include hot food also. The air conditioner was not working in our room and the toilet was stopped up.
The location was central to sights we were interested in. Room was comfortable.
I have chemical allergies and the smell of bleach in the linens and room was difficult for me to deal with. The dinner and bar situation was non existent. Breakfast was a joke. My reservation through booking.com was not present in the system. We were lucky to end up with a room at all. We really wanted to stay at this location because we met family from out of state. They had stayed at this location many times and were very disappointed this stay. Again, the breakfast and dining room were a huge draw back. Cold cereal, doughnuts, coffee no juice was the total offering. Oh if you wanted to order a hot breakfast for just over 5.00 that was inedible it was available.
Large room and the AC worked great.
Housekeeping staff was very friendly and helpful. Clean linens.
Front desk staff were not friendly nor did they smile. WHoever manned the phones on the desk saturday night told us the wrong church times. Holes in the curtains and small TV. Side doors DID NOT LOCK and were open until 11 p.m.
The lodge was in the perfect spot for my daughter and I, within blocks of much of what we wanted to see. It is within 5 miles of just about everything in Branson. The rooms were very quiet and the whole atmosphere was relaxing.
The rooms were very nice and clean, but my bed was a little too firm.
Great location on the strip with easy access to Table Rock Lake and attractions such as the Titanic Museum. Free WiFi abd the pool were great perks.
I stayed in the value room for two Nights and the room was just okay. The decor was old school and needs an update. There were a few water stains on the ceiling and the tv was very small and looked like it was from 1980. Maybe this is just the way it goes when you book a value room, i do wonder if the other rooms were nicer. Breakfast is just a cold continental breakfast, unless you pay extra. I didn't have any serious problem at this hotel, but I would probably choose somewhere next time.
The hotel was clean, and the price was good. The entrance is beautiful and the staff was very friendly.
The beds were hard. The breakfast buffet was chaotic and they were unprepared for the number guest they had.The long hallways were a little creepy. All vending machines were out of beverages.
The beds were very hard, air conditioning not so great. The continental breakfast was the worst I have ever seen. There was no clean cereal bowls for the cereal none of the staff would help get clean bowls. The so called hostess was too busy playing on her phone. I would not recommend this hotel at all!
Shallow pool, couldn't get luggage rack all the way to the room. Housekeeping didn't knock before entering hotel room. Misrepresented in photos online.
The location of the Lodge of the Ozarks was perfect for us. The front desk people were friendly and helpful.
The only real negative was the food service for breakfast buffet. The food is behind a metal plate, so you really can't see the food choices very well. Rather than getting to serve yourself like most hotels, you must tell a server what you want. There were only 4 choices our 1st day. Later saw a manager walking by with a plate of fruit, so went back to the server and asked for fruit. It was not visible behind the metal plate. Did not eat any other meal there.
The location was great.
Was unhappy with the room. It looked nothing like the picture when I booked the room. My room had out dated furniture. It looked like someone's Grandmother's room. It had the same chairs in the room from the club they had downstairs where the breakfast was served.
